Consumer Complaint: received a escrow payment history from ocwen for the years XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. for everyone of these years a escrow account adjustment was taken out of my escrow account. on XX/XX/XXXX a escrow adjustment was done two times. on XX/XX/XXXX the escrow balance was XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX the balance was shown a deduction of XXXX no reasons given. on XX/XX/XXXX the escrow balance was XXXX a adjustment was made for XXXX. when I contacted ocwen they stated it was taken for a new modication. I called the CFPB they told me the escrow money could only be used for taxes and insurance .when you sigh papers for the new agreement to have your mortgage modification they never added any documentations stating they were taking money out of my escrow. there response to my questions have been to email me new payment numbers explaining it was done for the modifications. what is the purpose of a modification to help people who have fallen behind on payments. not to make a new agreement with trail payments and then take your money which has a surplus that should have been sent to me

Consumer Complaint: I previously had a problem with Ocwen Mortgage Company ( XXXX # XXXX ). My escrow account has been a problem since the loan was taken over in XXXX. Ocwen 's states there was a problem when they took the loan over in XXXX.I attribute the problems to fraud and bad accounting. XXXX XXXX my escrow analysis showed I had a deficit and my mortgage was going up {$82.00} a month. My taxes stayed the same and my insurance policy went up {$20.00} for the year. Where is the money going? My escrow shows XXXX insurance policy payments XXXX XXXX {$540.00}, XXXX XXXX {$670.00}. Also the same on the new XXXX analysis shows XXXX insurance payments for XXXX XXXX {$690.00} and {$670.00}. Ocwen sent me an escrow analysis and they totally omitted XXXX 's payments ( I beleive they realize they dont add up ).

Consumer Complaint: This is an ongoing issue with the Mortgage Company. I have never missed a payment, however Ocwen continues to show my mortgage as being delinquent. They continue to add an Escrow account stating that insurances were unpaid. About a month ago, when we seemed unable to resolve, we called Ocwen with our Insurance representative on the line. At that time Ocwen agreed that our insurances were paid up, we were not past due on anything and they returned an overage amount that we both agreed they owed us. To date, Ocwen still has our loan listed as due for XXXX. They are saying the last payment was received was XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and next payment due is XXXX XXXX, XXXX. They returned am amount equal to the monthly mortgage payment in XXXX. We have never missed a monthly payment and have our bank statements to prove this fact. This has been an ongoing problem with Ocwen and we have wasted time and money trying to settle these challenges.

Consumer Complaint: I have a balloon mortgage with Ocwen Loan Servicing that matured on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. ( I have been working with a bank to refinance the mortgage. ) When I sent the XXXX monthly payment to the Ocwen that has the existing balloon mortgage it was refused/returned. I e-mailed the the Ocwen representative to find out why I could not continue payments while I was seeking new financing to pay their balance. They responded that after the loan matured they will only accept the full balance due of {$91000.00}. In XXXX they reported to the credit bureau that I am 60 days delinquent on payments. That report reduced my credit score from XXXX to XXXX. Becouse of this report I was not able to finalize the refinance with XXXX XXXX. I believe this is unfair. I tried to make payments to keep in good standing while I was seeking refinancing.

Consumer Complaint: Additional details and documentation attached ... Approximately 10 months in on a 30 year FIXED rate mortgage. The loan servicer " Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC ''. Has informed us that they are changing / increasing the amount of our Principle & Interest payment??? Although a minor increase. We were informed from the start that a 30 year fixed rate mortgage is exactly that - Fixed!!! This is NOT an escrow issue ... They are increasing our interest payment. We feel this may be the tip of the ice burg! Ocwen services millions of loans and may have been doing this for years to millions of other borrowers! XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: When I attempt to visit my loan servicer 's ( Ocwen ) website to view information about my mortgage, I am told that it does not recognize my login ( i.e. my email address ) and then am informed by the website " Oops! Something went wrong. '' when I attempt to confirm/add my " new '' email address so I can log into their system by providing my loan number, last four digits of my SSN, and my home 's zip code. This very same issue occurred previously ( approx. 1 year ago ), and after finally connecting with a member of Ocwen 's team via phone, I was assured the glitch had been fixed, but it has clearly not been. Interestingly, though, in the interim I have continued to receive emails from Ocwen regarding my payment status and offering refinance options at the same address the company claims is not associated with my account for login purposes. As the rate of my ARM mortgage continues to increase above market rates, it sure seems coincidental that Ocwen 's system is still unable ( unwilling? ) to allow me access to my account and information re : my mortgage.

I faxed a copy of the XXXX XXXX, mailed a copy of the XXXX XXXX and uploaded a copy of the XXXX XXXX to their website. I advised I was the person handling his affairs for my family to get options on what to do with the loan. Issue: Closing on a mortgage

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen stalled the modification process, enabling me from moving forward. Ocwen illegally foreclosed on my property, without my knowledge. Until one day inXX/XX/XXXX A 3rd party showed up at my door to take picture of my home. In which they stated they purchased thru an auction. Poor communication from Ocwen in trying to resolve the matter. I numerous phone meetings with a relationship manager at specific times and dates in which, they never called me. Losing documents during the modification process which made me have to start the prove over again. When I do get thru to a representative, the records were never updated causing me to have to constantly refresh the new representative in the reason for my call. My girlfriend of 12 years, who was not a borrower or co-borrower on the mortgage, only listed as a communicator in case I was not present. They went into her bank account unauthorized and remove a payment of over 700.00, stating it was for payment towards the balance. In which I never authorized! In XXXX, I started this modification process, in which I am referencing. I submitted a total of XXXX in monthly income including two rentals, my girlfriend 's paystub and my paystub. There is no way, I should have denied on any level for a modification because the monthly income exceeded. Ocwen denied me because they wanted a lump of about {$20000.00} in arrears. When I was trying to negotiate how I can become current and get back on track with them, they were n't trying to do that! One of the problems I did have with Ocwen is when I did send the payments, they failed to post them, instead sending them back! This happened on at least 3 occasions. They call me days later stating they have n't a payment ... Poor communication! I had appointment with the relationship manager on XX/XX/XXXX. They never stated they were foreclosing on my home. I have additional details to include. My name is XXXX XXXX, can someone please point me in the right direction. My contact number is XXXX. Thank you for your time.
