Consumer Complaint: I got a Loan with GMAC 14 years ago for XXXX. After 7 years ocwen bought them out and I modified my loan. I am actually losing my house now to a short sale or worse foreclosure. We had a short sale set up and the 2nd, my equity line if XXXX decided to foreclose. The sale was set fir yesterday. However they cancelled the sale and now I think the short sale will take place. But ocwen has said my payoff after all these years of paying is {$610000.00}. The original amount of my loan. Please excuse my ignorance but I do n't know what to do. I 've called them at least 20 times and they always say I 'm right, this does n't make sense. Then they transfer me. I never get anywhere.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX forclosed on my home XX/XX/XXXX. I believe I was fraudlently foreclosed on. It is impossible for me to owe both XXXX XXXX and Ocwen. My loan was orginally serviced by XXXX XXXX. Ocwen purchased XXXX 's assets back inthe end of XX/XX/XXXX. Ocwen reaches out and states they can assit. I enter the SAM Modification and I was still paid my first 2 trial payments and I was still foreclosed on by XXXX XXXX. The paperwork was robo signed and I was cleary done wrong and my rights in general and due process rights were violated. XXXX XXXX has transfered ownership to their name. I have attatched paperwork and court cases which should assit in my explanation. The foreclosre is still being reported negatively on my credit reports. This damages my character many other damages that come with that type of negative reporting.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX my grandmother filed for chapter XXXX bankruptcy. She did not put our home under the bankruptcy and was given a loan modification. This was due to an income change because she had a series of XXXX. She XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Right before she XXXX she was a couple of months behind on her mortgage payments. I contacted the company to resolve the issue and take over the loan. My sister and I applied for a loan modification and it was granted in XXXX of XXXX. When the XXXX payment was to be made the relationship manager assigned to my case do n't send in the payment until further notice because there was a mixup with the paperwork and someone would be in touch with me. The verbal reason I was given after many attempts was that I initiated the payments too early. They then said we skipped steps. I did everything that was asked of me. They then said the debt was discharged in a bankruptcy but the house was n't entered under the bankruptcy. I showed them proof from her lawyer that it was n't. I 've been fighting Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC for the last for years and the company has foreclosed on my home. We 've had this home for over 40 years and I feel there was a predatory scam ran on me to keep the home. We have been at this for years and I just want to retain the home. There was a company that did an initial look into the matter but wanted {$3000.00} with no guarantee of results. The loan amount has gone up to {$150000.00}. XXXX XXXX is the bank that held the loan. We 're raising an XXXX child and teenager and our home is security and stability for the children. When I went to the court to stop the sale the company adjourned the sale and pretended to want to work with me but I had to get in contact with their lawyers to find out that was n't happening. No one contacted me. Every contact was initiated by me.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen is claiming my property tax is {$4200.00}. I asked them were they came up with that amount and all they could tell me was " a web site ''. My taxes are {$2900.00} and I provided them with the actual tax bill from my town office. They " investigated '' it and two weeks later basically said I was wrong and they were right. This has caused my yearly escrow with taxes and insurance to go from {$4200.00} to {$6100.00}. They are collecting an additional {$1800.00} a year from me without any explanation as to where it is going. I have tried several times to work this out with them but they wont budge. They call me and when I answer the phone no one is there. Then the next day I get a email stating they called me but I wont respond. I have called them but only have been allowed to leave messages. Any help would be great, I 'm a single parent and cant afford the higher monthly payment that seems to go nowhere.

Consumer Complaint: We were shocked last week to have XX/XX/XXXX mortgage payment returned with letter saying we should contact them to receive the reinstatement amount. After reading this I called them and they were closed. I then reactivated my online information to try to go see what is happening. Have n't received anything from Ocwen to know there was a problem. Then could hardly breathe while screenshotting the account activity. It shows that all payments were received and returned since XX/XX/XXXX, almost a year! This is the first time I received a returned payment. Where are the other 10 returned payments? Why did they get returned? Was insurance even paid? All this time I had no idea, why? We are sending them and where are they now??? The letter has my parents old address, was returned and Ocwen placed in a handwritten envelope. Then resent to my correct address which is the property address. * I used to have important mail sent to my parents address, my dad passed away 4 years ago, mom moved out and requested for mail to go to the property address again. On XX/XX/XXXX : -The bank said that they were n't cashed. We are able to cancel/reissue. -The Post Office is looking into this but said highly unlikely that would happen that many times-they must not have really returned them AND the mail would have been returned to sender. -We checked with the homeowner of my parents old address-he has n't been receiving them. This is so scary, I feel scared and defeated by them once again. I 'm lost at how to figure this out. Nothing to my property address, no phone call-those things have n't changed. I 'm shocked that there is n't anyone coming to our house to collect?! For a year! Years back they told me that I needed to pay a huge amount because I fell behind. They inflated the amounts and I had to pay up because they said it was too late to do loan modification. Hindsight, they were probably being dishonest. We made the arrangements and paid to have everything good again. Now this. And during that period there were letters notifying us. I told my entire family, some started looking online and found your company sued them for exactly the things I have went thru in the past. In addition, massive amounts of homeowners in the same situation with this company. I am just in a state of fear. I feel like if I called them, they will say another insane amount to steal from us. I 'm shocked that there is even a record of consistently receiving payments and returning them. I am completely overwhelmed and fear the worst. Since your company has faced them, I 'm hoping to learn what I can do to save our house. How to resolve this. Seems like they hope that people are going to be too scared and they will get their homes. Cant imagine losing our home after 20 years- our dogs are buried here. We are getting the payments canceled and reissued but I just do n't trust these guys-please help.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen complaint I can not get answers. Back on XXXX/XXXX/2017 I filled out an application for a Deed in Leiu, I was told not to make any payments during this process till the application gets processed and finalized. We initially wanted to vacate the premises the right way without a foreclosure. We do not get call backs from the company even thou they continue to send me emails ( which I have ) stating I have a conference call scheduled with the relationship manager. We have made several phone calls and all I am told is I am very sorry, in a language that can barely be understood because they outsource their customer service. I have read multiple complaints about this company online and they are all the same, no answer, no solutions, every excuse leads to problems regarding a lein on the home which is the excuse I was given ( yet I purchased the home with no history of a lein ) ..? Now they have reported to the credit Bueru that I am delinquent on my account and past due the full amount of the note {$79000.00} Which is ridiculous Because we stopped making payments when we were told not to pay anything! It should be illegal to run a business the way they do. Deceptive trade practices.
