Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information is missing that should be on the report
Consumer Complaint: My car loan stopped reporting in XXXX of XXXX after filing bankruptcy XXXX XXXX. My bankruptcy was dismissed as of XX/XX/XXXX I have been contacting navy federal since the bankruptcy was dismissed to get my car loan back reporting since it was deleted from credit report. I have had 3 investigations open with the bank on why its not reporting only after being told its been reporting every month. Navy federal assured me on XX/XX/XXXX that my loan was submitted to the credit bureau for reporting I have contacted XXXX and XXXX every signed day since and they advised me once they receive an updated electronically they can see it right away and nothing has been reported to them today is now XX/XX/XXXX XXXX federal says it can take 30 days to show up once reported but the credit bureaus state differently that information is updated once received a d if it was sent electronically they should be able to see it now. This car loan not showing on my credit is damaging to me no one will take my car as a trade In because there is no history of the loan! I have 3 years of on time payments the car loan was open in XXXX of XXXX. The longer this does not report the more my car value will continue to go down and I will be more upside down in this loan. I have made every attempt to rectify this own my own and nothing has been resolved ive spent countless of hours on the phone with navy federal and I am receiving mixed information. I can never get a straight forward answer or resolution regarding this. I should not have to file an official complaint against a bank to have my loan and payment reported its my right to have my information reported correctly.

Subissue: Problem using a debit or ATM card
Consumer Complaint: I was incarcerated on XX/XX/XXXX. I was released on XX/XX/XXXX. Unauthorized, fraudulent transactions starting on XX/XX/XXXX and ending on XX/XX/XXXX took a total of {$4300.00} plus associated fees out of my account. I immediately filed a report by phone the night I was released from jail when I found out about the transactions and through the website once I was able to log in. The company denied my claim on XX/XX/XXXX saying that because my pin was used for some of the transactions, they were not unauthorized and I was responsible for them in full. I fully complied with all requests for information. They accused me of making the transactions myself and lying about it, even though I was clearly in jail the whole time this was going on. I submitted an appeal on XX/XX/XXXX. They sent me an email on XX/XX/XXXX saying they had received my appeal but they could give me no time frame on when it would be completed. That money was everything in the world that I had. My home, my car, all my possessions were lost when I went to jail. Please help me. I've always tried to do the right thing and it is unconscionable that Navy Federal Credit Union could get away with this without so much as performing an investigation.

Issue: Trouble using your card
Subissue: Can't use card to make purchases
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I spoke with a Navy Federal Rep and on XX/XX/2022 I spoke with a other Navy Federal Rep by the name XXXX. I asked Navy Federal Rep XXXX why is my credit card restricted from making purchases? XXXX replied " Its because your credit card is past due {$110.00} dollars '' I informed XXXX that my statement says that I do not have a " payment '' due until XX/XX/2022 that is {$260.00} as shown in the attachment. Nevertheless, a " late payment '' is a violation of my rights pursuant ( 15 USC 1666b ) but still gives Navy Federal no right to restricted my card from purchases. My " current balance '' is {$1600.00} my " Minimum Payment Due '' is XXXX. {$1600.00} + {$260.00} = {$1800.00}, my credit limit is {$2000.00}, {$2000.00} - {$1800.00} still leaves me with an available credit limit of {$130.00}. Also, Navy Federal took {$29.00} out of my checking account and credited my credit card without my consent as shown in attachment. Furthermore, XXXX ( Navy Federal Rep ) was rude, would not give me her employee ID number and sent me to Navy Federal voicemail survey after I tried to speak with a manager. Please help me solve this matter with my " credit-card '' under an open end consumer credit plan.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: With Navy Federal being reported as bad debt on my credit, I have reached out several times for forgiveness and set up a payment plan and as promise to pay, I have not gotten any help as promised and have been giving me the run around with getting through different departments because they are unable to help. I have been so determined and focused on bettering my life and trying to have good credit but navy federal has made it so hard for me. They refuse to help me in any kind of way, have sent out several emails seeing if there are options but I always get denied for any type of help and neglected. I would like for them to come to an agreement with me so I can have the debt removed from my credit. Understanding I have a future, a family and a life which all depends on my credit. I have been desperately trying to reach for help but nobody seems to be able to do anything for me but constantly and easily reporting to my credit as bad debt. Nobody seems to be able to help after getting transferred through so many departments and Navy Federal is reporting this false debt using a address I never lived at and has updated my new address with them but after doing a deletion for address with bureau, they are unable to remove from my credit report because it shows navy is still being reported.

Consumer Complaint: Ive sent a letter via certified mail to Navy Federal Credit Union last month concerning various factors that resulted in the improper reporting on my XXXX Credit Report. First, in the state of Alabama the statute of limitations for an open and liquidated account *credit card* is 3 years. This time has elapsed so by law this negative charge off account and all of it remarks should be removed from my XXXX report. I disputed this with XXXX and the account came back as verified and accurate. Based on the law, i requested a copy of documentary evidence to prove that i owe this debt and this has not been received. No documents were signed by me, therefore my FCRA rights were violated. There was no legitimate business purposes. Navy Federal Credit Union has failed to respond to my certified mail inquiry timely, and furthermore i am requesting this negative account to be removed from my credit report immediately
