Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis is reporting that I filed XXXX claims with my insurance carrier between XXXX of 2018 and XXXX of 2018 ( a three-month window ). This information is false, inaccurate, and damaging, and has prevented me from being able to shop various insurance carriers to get competing rates for homeowners coverage. I attempted to reach a Lexis Nexis representative yesterday and today. I have navigated through numerous automated prompts and wasted significant time only to be unable to reach any live person or receive any information relevant to my current issue. I also emailed Lexis Nexis but the address to which I sent my inquiry does not appear relevant to the dispute at hand. The erroneous report should be corrected immediately.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute to XXXX earlier this month regarding an alleged bankruptcy on my credit report. According to their website an investigation was opened on XX/XX/XXXX and was closed on XX/XX/XXXX and the bankruptcy remains on my credit report. According to XXXX they verified the bankruptcy information with Lexis Nexis. This statement is as a result of an error on their part or either is an outright lie as I have documentation from Lexis Nexis stating that this information is not on file with them. If a complete investigation had been made it was not verified by Lexis Nexis. I'm including Lexis Nexis in this complaint so that they can answer clearly about whatever this potential mix could be as the paperwork that they recently sent me dated XXXX, stated that the bankruptcy was not on file with their company.
