Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Difficulty submitting a dispute or getting information about a dispute over the phone
Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX, have sent several letters explaining in detail the issue of this company 's reporting an verifiable bankruptcy they are reporting on my consumer profile. With each letter I have attached proof of my identity as well as proof that other credit reporting agencies have deleted the unverifiable bankruptcy. I have also attached letter form courthouse and pacer in which each entity state they do not confirm any bankruptcies nor do they report bankruptcies to any credit reporting agencies. The company even removed the unverifiable bankruptcy from their " verified '' report but still have it on their " unverified '' report which is against the law! With each letter sent, the reply back was a claim that there was not enough information or that proof of identity wasn't legible. These are fraudulent claims, as every letter included clear copies of identity as well as detailed information. This company is in clear violation of the FCRA and my consumer rights.

Consumer Complaint: I was with XXXX auto insurance for more than 10 years. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I switched carriers. Out of what appeared to be retaliation, XXXX suddenly reported information to Lexis Nexis that should not have been included on my report. This information included breakdown and tow truck charges from years prior that was suddenly listed in the claims section of my report. I have ( never ) been at fault for any accidents, but the " no faults '' were suddenly removed from those claims. The claims report also showed a pay out that I never received for a non fault accident that took place on XX/XX/XXXX. When I contacted XXXX, they would keep me on hold for more than an hour. Sometimes the representatives would even hang up without assisting me. Certain employees from the company would also give inaccurate statements to the Insurance Commissioner regarding my complaint. XXXX finally admitted fault and informed me and the commissioner that updates would be made on my Lexis Nexis report. I contacted Lexis Nexis numerous times. Their representatives would also hang up on me, or keep me on hold until I was forced to disconnect. Other representatives " claimed '' to not be able to identify me with the same information I had always given. It has been almost a year and I still haven't received an ( updated ) XXXX XXXX report. The agency verbally stated that changes were made but I still don't have any proof in hand that shows any corrections were made. After ten months of repeated requests, the agency is still furnishing old reports with errors.

Consumer Complaint: I wrote letter to Lexis Nexis XX/XX/2021 by certified mail regarding the alleged bankruptcy listed on my Lexis Nexis report. Lexis Nexis never responded to my letter but I know they received it because on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX. Lexis Nexis completely ignored me. I also wrote a letter to the court and they sent me a letter stating that they do no give information to credit reporting agencies. So how is is possible for Lexis Nexis to fully verify the bankruptcy they are reporting if the court did not give them the information? There is no way they have verified this alleged bankruptcy but they are violating my rights by reporting this inaccurate information and providing it to other credit reporting agencies. I have attached the letter I received from the court, the letter I sent to Lexis Nexis and the certified mail receipt.
