Consumer Complaint: I am writing this complaint to LEXISNEXIS. I sent them a letter regarding the inaccuracies in my report such as the date of last activity, date opened, date reported, payment status etc. They took more than 30 days to complete the investigation and they claimed that they did a thorough investigation. However, when I checked my report, I did not see any changes made at all. The inaccurate information are still reporting. My rights have been violated numerous times. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States that I have the right to privacy. 15U.S.C 1681 section 604 A Section 2. It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instruction.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are continuously reporting a bankruptcy on my credit report. They have stated that the Data Furnisher is US BKPT CT AL XXXX. So, I contacted them, and they stated they do NOT report, validate or verify anything to ANY credit bureau or third party. Yet the credit bureaus ( all three ) are continuously telling me that their information is verified. through Lexis Nexis Which can not TRUE. I would like this entry on credit report to be removed. Lexis Nexis Does not have it listed and XXXX can not verify me and even if they could they would still have to verify that from the ACTUAL BANKRUPTCY COURT which in my letter it states that THEY DO NOT VERIFY, VALIDATE, or REPORT.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for several insurance policies with XXXX XXXX within in XX/XX/2023 ( auto, home, umbrella ). The company gave me quotes, and we moved forward with obtaining a policy. The home insurance policy came back " not issued as quoted '' with the home insurance 's actual rate 20 % higher than the quote, which is a {$500.00} difference in rate. All relevant information was given and accurately reported by us at the time of the quote and application. XXXX XXXX sent us the required letter about adverse action taken on the basis of a consumer report. Upon inquiry, we were told the rate increase was based on an adverse report on an upcoming LexisNexis consumer report, but not what the adverse information was. We were told to request the report from LexisNexis and to correct anything that was inaccurate. The LexisNexis report was sent. There were two inaccuracies. One was for the Automated Value Model for our home. The current value was listed as between 3-4x the actual value of our home. The one-year value was roughly accurate, and the five-year value was {$0.00}. This was in contrast to other addresses we have owned which showed a roughly correct value. The second inaccuracy was an unrelated person 's claims showing up on my C.L.U.E . report. The claims were related to a dog bite and what looks like might be a lightning claim and appear in the same section as the one accurate claim that was made for our residence from a few years ago. I contacted LexisNexis about the inaccuracies. They allowed me to dispute the home value. They did not allow me to dispute the other person 's data on my C.L.U.E . report and told me to take it up with the company that reported it, which happened to be XXXX XXXX. I was also told by LexisNexis that I just needed to tell the insurance company using the inaccurate information to ignore it and not to use it. Considering State Farm wont let me discuss the inaccuracies with an underwriter, this is not a possibility. No one that I can get ahold of at XXXX XXXX as a consumer knows how to correct this. I spent a significant amount of time being bounced around before they could even identify the claim number because LexisNexis reported it with several ending numbers that aren't relevant. Supposedly someone at XXXX XXXX is now looking into it, but that person has no idea what to do to correct the report. The second part of this relates to the information XXXX XXXX is using to underwrite my own home insurance policy, which was " not issued as quoted. '' After several requests, my husband and I have yet to figure out what adverse information is increasing our home insurance rate from the quote. We were not told if it was based on something on my report, his report, or both reports. From our applicant side, we disclosed all information used to give us the original quote accurately. Our home worth was accurate and our insurance claim history is accurate. We are left to assume that the XXXX and the unrelated persons claims are the problem, but we have no way to know if correcting this information will do anything or if it is even the adverse information. Our XXXX XXXX agent has noted that it is XXXX XXXX policy to shield their agents from accessing the consumer report information, so she has no real way to tell us what specific information is making the policy come back not issued as quoted. With us not being allowed to discuss the consumer report information with the person that is using it, we can not ensure that the adverse information itself is correct or not.

Consumer Complaint: This is the XXXX time I am sending a complaint for inaccurate information reported on my credit file. You did respond but you did not investigate the information I disputed for the XXXX time. You responded that my address, ssn, and case # was correct. I did not dispute that information at all. Did you read what I disputed? Did you actually do an investigation? Now what I am disputing is the accuracy of the court name and the county of the court. The information is still not accurate. THE NAME OF THE COURT AND THE COUNTY OF THE COURT IS INACCURATE. Now I know I have a right as a consumer to accurate information on my credit file and for reinvestigation. This inaccurate information you are reporting is hurting my ability to obtain credit. Now I wonder if you actually did an investigation or not. You said you got this information from XXXX but did you actually check it? Did you even look into the information or did you quickly label it as accurate/verified? I am sending the same letter I sent you before with all of my information and the response you gave me that DID NOT ANSWER MY DISPUTE. YOU just randomly answered something I did not dispute. I AM NOT ASKING YOU IF MY ADDRESS, SSN #, AND CASE # are correct. By law you I have a right to reinvestigation and accurate credit reporting.

Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB, For the past 2 years, I have continuously disputed the inaccuracy of various items being reported within my consumer profile with Lexis Nexis. Lexis Nexis has always verified the disputed items as accurate. I have even submitted proof of the inaccuracy information and Lexis Nexis refuses to correct or remove the inaccurate information being reported against me. I have now come to you for help with this problem. Lexis Nexis reports me as being a female when Im a male, they report me as being a SR when I have no children named after me as well as incorrect addresses and unverifiable public records information. I am afraid that Im a victim of a mixed or merged credit profile. I have conveyed these concerns in writing to Lexis Nexis and they continue the o report the inaccurate information. For example, the public record is listed in my consumer report but has another persons ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) as the listed person under the bankruptcy section. This is a violation of the FCRA. I am asking for the immediate removal of all public records and a {$1000.00} fine per inaccuracy being reported. I am also requesting that Lexis Nexis Please send an updated consumer report with the updated information within 30 days. Failure to do so will tie my hands to file court action with the Federal Court. I am also attaching proof of my current address as well as proof of the inaccuracy public record being reported. Respectfully submitted, XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2023

Consumer Complaint: I have filed numerous disputes over the past several years. XXXX continues to report a bankruptcy XXXX US Bankruptcy court XXXX CA on my file. I have provided documentation from the court that appears on my file. I have contacted the supplier of this information given to me by XXXX. The bottom line is XXXX is the only credit bureau reporting this inaccurate unverifiable public record. I have complained to the so-called provider about this information and have been told they have not verified or supplied XXXX with this information. XXXX has reported this inaccurate data on my file for over 7 years without any facts. I have asked them to supply me with a copy of the public record but they refuse. This inaccurate information has affected me financially. I have not been able to get the best rates on financial loans or credits. I have been denied because of this inaccurate information. I am not able to achieve home ownership because of the effect it has on my credit score. The FCRA states that disputed items be verified. If lexis Nexis states they have not verified or provided any information. If the alleged court does not provide information directly to XXXX, how can it put this on my file but provide no factual proof? This is in violation of the FCRA. This is unethical and spiteful behavior by a company that is supposed to be a furnisher of truthful and accurate information.
