Consumer Complaint: I have tried multiple times to correct errors by sending dispute letters and I have contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX by voice with no result so I would like to request that CFPB step in and help. On XXXX XXXX I Received a LexisNexis Report. Consumer Number XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. My first concern is that I have Security Freezes on all the credit reporting agencies including XXXX and LexisNexis. How was this information sent to LexisNexis from XXXX with the security freeze in place? I will attach page 1 of 20 showing the sharing of my credit information. The second Error I found is the accurate reporting of information on my LexisNexis - XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX credit information. BY Law FCRA Section 611 Furnishers and Credit Reporting agencies are to report information Accurately and is Complete If information is incorrect or incomplete the account is to be DELETED. Located on Page 5 of 20 XXXX XXXX XXXX Report contains multiple ERRORS. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number XXXX. This account was reported for incorrect amount of {$24000.00} correct amount {$24000.00} ( INACCURATE ) .I will attach a copy of the from XXXX XXXX XXXX which will show the payment history - which will show the errors. ( ERROR 1 ) - Status ( Discharged through Bankruptcy XXXX XXXXNever late ) This account was not discharged but was REAFFIMED meaning the account continued to be paid - paid in full with a zero balance,. ( ERROR 2 ) The payment history shows payments through XXXX of XXXX of the credit report. Please look at the attached payment history from XXXX XXXX bank you will see that the last payment was made XX/XX/XXXX. THIS IS OVER 3 YEARS DIFFERENCE from what is reported????? This loan was paid in full, on time, and to a zero balance. Many of the Categories of this report have been filled in with " Not Reported '' leaving the report INCOMPLETE. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act, The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also requested that they provide me proof and a written description of the investigation according to 15 USC 1681i ( 7 ) which they never did. Additionally, according to 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Also, I've learned that according to the following FCRA Laws my rights were purposely disrespected. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A States that I have the right to privacy. So reporting the inaccurate accounts blatantly disregard my rights. and according to 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish any account information without my written instructions and I have not Giving Any written instructions to do so. Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter to the courthouse asking do they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating They do not report any bankruptcies to anybody. So if thats the case. How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100 % Accurate. They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 USC 1681. 15 USC 1681 section 603 ( 3 ) ( E ) States ; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. They also violated my rights numerous times. The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 USC 1681. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. Consumer Complaint: My mortgage loan was denied during underwriting because LexisNexis reported a foreclosure against individuals of an estate instead of the estate. The document clearly states that is the estate of the deceased followed by a ; and the list of names of from the estate. I've reached out to the lender with supporting documents ( XXXX XXXX, Years of Property Taxes, Deed, and Mortgage without my name ) on XX/XX/XXXX but they haven't made a decision as of XX/XX/2023. The closing on the house is in Jeopardy from this error. This hasn't shown up on any other credit report. This report didn't take into account that it was an estate foreclosure and seemed to only read the trigger word " foreclosure '' and the list of names on it.
