Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from my car insurance carrier that I am paying higher rates because of something in a report from LexisNexis Risk Solutions. I have been trying for three days to contact this company by telephone. I sent an email on XXXX. I called on XX/XX/ at XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I called on XXXX at XXXX, and sent a second message. I called today XXXX at XXXX and XXXX. All I get is the same message to go to the website. I can not access a live person. How do I resolve an issue when I don't know what it is and can't talk to anyone. Is this company even legitimate?

Consumer Complaint: I have incorrect information on my LexisNexis report. I tried to get it investigated via mail on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, however, Lexis Nexis only sent me a copy of my credit report unchanged. There was nothing updated, and no new information regarding my disputes. Lexis Nexis did not open disputes as requested. I will be attaching the dispute letter that I sent on today, XX/XX/XXXX. My license, bank statement, and utility bill are both in the attached document, so you have proof of address and proof of identity, as well. Thank you!

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to request the removal of bankruptcy reporting from my credit reports. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) ( B ), it is required that credit bureaus verify the full social security numbers and dates of birth from the courts before reporting public information such as bankruptcies, evictions and/or criminal histories. However, the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 5.2 prohibit the courts from reporting the full social security numbers and dates of birth on all publicly available court records. As a result, any bankruptcy reported is unverifiable and in violation of both federal and state law as stated above. I believe this violates my rights under the FCRA and could subject the credit bureau to a class action lawsuit should a similar situated class decide to pursue such action. Therefore, I am requesting that any bankruptcy reporting be removed from my credit reports immediately. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to receiving confirmation of the removal of the bankruptcy reporting from my credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: Attempting to get a copy of my credit file from LexisNexis, I submitted my request online, and they sent a letter to me with a URL and PIN that I could access. I entered the URL correctly, and when I attempted to access the report using the PIN, I received an error message stating the PIN was invalid, and listed a telephone number to contact. When I called the phone number, the VRU/automated system did not allow me to contact an agent, and non of the options offered would resolve the issue. This IS NOT acceptable to the least sophisticated consumer ; I'm a retired XXXX person from the XXXX XXXX XXXX and know this is NOT how it's supposed to work

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis is ignoring my request of suppression from sharing my personal credit report. I have submitted several request to suppress my credit report, yet my request are not being honored. I have added the necessary documentation to expedite the suppression request. I have even added the verification documents to this complaint. Please delete the unverified bankruptcy from my credit reports. The bankruptcy court has already confirmed that they do not share information, nor do they verify information pertaining to bankruptcy filings. Therefore, this account is fraudulent and inaccurate and defamatory.
