On the Chase Card Services letter dated XX/XX/XXXX inaccurate information misleading information and inconsistent to your letter dated XX/XX/XXXX .find letters enclose JP Morgan Bank Chase Card Services inaccurate account, account number XXXX On my credit file on error, Neglecting my credit file. I am a victim of identity theft. Account number XXXX at your company not mines. I therefore request that it be closed immediately. I also request JP Morgan Chase Bank Chase Card Services absolve me of all charges on the account, and that you take all appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. In addition account inaccurate, reporting information on Credit Bureaus Enclosed is a copy of my Identity Theft Report supporting my position, and a copy of my credit report showing the fraudulent items related to your company that are the result of identity theft. Also enclosed is a copy of the CFPBs Notice to Furnishers of Information, which details your responsibilities as an information furnisher to credit reporting agencies ( CRAs ). As a furnisher, upon receipt of a consumers written request that encloses an Identity Theft Report, you are required to cease furnishing the information resulting from identity theft to any CRA. The Notice also specifies your responsibilities when you receive notice from a CRA, under section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, that information you provided to the CRA may be the result of identity theft. Those responsibilities include ceasing to provide the inaccurate information to any CRAs and ensuring that you do not attempt to sell or transfer the fraudulent debts to another party for collection. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I took my children XXXX shopping at XXXX XXXX. After we got back home, my son XXXX XXXX, XXXX asked me to see of I could log in his bank account because he had received a notification that his account was locked due to suspicious activity. When I logged in my account, I saw that his checking had a deposit for {$900.00} and a withdrawal for {$500.00}, both on XX/XX/XXXX. Also, I noted that those transactions were at a Chase ATM in XXXX. I called the XXXX number for Chase Bank immediately, and I told my son to call, too. I told the representative that those XXXX transactions were fraudulent and that I was removing my son 's money from his checking and savings accounts. My son also stated that he did not have his debit card, and I relayed that information to Chase Bank. I told Chase that I believed the fraudulent activity was committed by someone at Chase Bank and I told them to pull the cameras. On XX/XX/XXXX, Chase reversed the deposit, leaving negative {$400.00} balance on the checking account. I called Chase Bank again and said that the bank needs to reverse that fraudulent withdrawal ; I told my son to call again, as well. After, this time and some time in XXXX, my son had to call once again, at which time Chase Bank reverse the fraudulent ATM withdrawal. Whenever I called Chase Bank, I requested to speak to management or a representative would say that I would get a call back. But, I did not receive a call back. I let the issue go because Chase Bank reversed the fraudulent charge and closed his accounts. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, my son and I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. It stated that the past due balance of {$500.00} was due. I called the bank and said there is no past due balance. I also reiterated that I had requested several times for the bank to pull the cameras on that ATM. The branch XXXX XXXX XXXX said that she would escalate the complaint. I told her that I was still going to have the police meet me at her branch ( Chase XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX. However, when I called on XX/XX/XXXX, a representative told me that XXXX XXXX was not in the office.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a Validation of Debt and C & D letter to chase. I have been contacted 3 times which is {$1000.00} fine per contact. I ceased all contact except certified mail involving my dispute. This includes- in person, email, phone, and credit reporting/third parties ON my behalf. They failed to answer me within the time ( 30 days ) that I gave them. I proceeded to then get into contact with the CEO requested the information, have yet to hear anything yet a report of late payment was put on my credit report AFTER opting out of all communication with me or any third party regarding me. Were up to {$5000.00} in fines PURSUANT to the law and TILA. According to 15 usc 1650 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( c ) a co signer is not a spouse, so this entire transaction was illegal to start with. I have a team of attorneys, as well as proof of claims, and debt lined up and proof they failed to comply with TILA!

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX of 2022, I contacted Chase Freedom to report issues with receiving statements. As you know we are in a pandemic and mail has been known to be delayed due to staffing etc. I learned this to be true in my case especially as the new normal. I have not used my Chase card in over a year due to a restriction in place by Chase and it was never lifted after making payment in the past time. I spoke with a supervisor who retracted late fees on my account from $ XXXX {$300.00} down to {$75.00} of what I truly did owe on the account. I asked her if I should pay ASAP or wait for the statement. She advised me to wait for the statement. I inquired when I should receive it and she explained about the Billing cycle and adjustments need to reflect on the next statement. I felt confident that as what we spoke, I would have it in tangible form to be able to make my final payment. I also requested to close my account because I have not used the card in over a year and I did not want any more fees imposed on my account. Time passes and I have not received a statement of the new adjustments. I then wait some more time to pass and finally receive a two statements in the mail. I received one statement in the amount of {$130.00} for an XXXX bill and current statement ( XXXX ) for {$190.00}. I contacted multiple chase representatives and a total of 4 supervisors to dispute the charges on my account as well as to Inquire where missing statements are. At this moment I believe I am missing one or two statements. The statements that I do have do not reflect a new balance of {$75.00} adjustment with imposed fees of the billing cycle of XXXX month but instead I received the latter bills. I spoke with supervisor XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX who said she could not help me, and told me that I could have gone online to retrieve my information. I told her I could not, I do not have a PC. Then she claimed that I own a smart phone and that I could pull the account information on there, and that it is my issue if I did not do this. I told her that I signed up for mailed statements as it is the most reliable. I explained to her that she had crossed a professional barrier and I requested to speak to someone else. She told me she would have her manager contact me. Unsatisfied with her lack of help, I called Chase again and and spoke with another supervisor. This supervisor is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I questioned XXXX as to how many statements am I missing and why I have not received the one with the adjustment of {$75.00}. She said she did not see any post delivery failure. She also told me that there is no statement for {$75.00} but about {$90.00} or so with news fees which I have no way to know because I do not have a copy. I explained to her after her unwillingness to help that I needed to speak to someone above her and she told me that a manager will call me back to discuss the account. XXXX at times, would respond in a sarcastic tone. Especially when I mentioned that their practices are deceitful and unfair, their denial as to where my statements are and why I am receiving late term statements. I explained to XXXX that all I want to do is make a payment at that moment of the amount agreed upon of {$75.00} to which see said I could but I will still have late fees. I told her I will not pay what I did not use and for not receiving A. Timely statements and B. the latter statements missing the adjusted and recalculated Statements from the XXXX phone call. On Thursday I receive a call from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. She tells me that there was a ticket for a return call and that she is a collections department for Chase and not the manager whom I requested to speak to. I asked XXXX for her badge ID to have a third party follow up with the deceptive practices chase has incurred on my account. Every contact I make with Chase never results in a resolution but either I am hung up on, or passed between other Chase employees. Chase does not look to resolve the account as I have told them clearly I would pay the sum agreed upon in XXXX. I told Chase their failure to mail me a statement that would reflect the adjustment but they verbally insisted that It is my fault. I requested each representative to record the convo as well as the convo that took place in XXXX for my protection. I contacted Chase multiple times.

Consumer Complaint: Debit card fraud. Reported to Chase bank that transactions amounting to approximately {$2000.00} using my debit card number at an atm machine in XXXX emptied my checking and savings account. I live in Michigan. Chase conceded that it was fraud and they reversed the transactions. However, the transactions were still charged on my accounts. Chase told me that the local merchant in XXXX refused to reimburse the money, so Chase is passing the fraud onto me. They said that it is possible that I gave my debit card number to these people in XXXX XXXX XXXX. That I could try and come up with proof that I didnt do so. Im a retired guy on Social Security and {$2000.00} isnt something I can just whisk away without putting up some sort of a fight. Any kind of direction, help, or advice would be helpful. Bottom line is its not my debt and they never provided debt validation per my request, therefore the debt must be deleted from my credit report.
