Consumer Complaint: Please note that the following statement is in reference to Chase Bank Checking Account # XXXX. I XXXX XXXX XXXX, am the owner of this account. I look forward to the help provided by this entity! My purse, including my wallet containing identification, social security card, birth certificate, Chase Bank card and another bank card, was stolen days before I was XXXX in XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. A few check deposits were made into my Chase acct by my mother who had power of attorney for me. When I was XXXX I expected to have this money in my account but turned out to not be the case. I immediately contacted Chase Bank to inform them that these transactions were not made by me and also dispute every transaction that had been made on my account from XXXX XXXX. A provisional credit was applied to my account on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$110.00} for the disputes filed on XX/XX/XXXX. A few days later the status of my claim showed denied and closed. Immediately I called and spoke with Chase Bank asking the reason for a denial. The representative was extremely rude and accused me of lying. He informed me that the decision was made because not every transaction was filed under one dispute claim and that there were others during the that time frame that were not disputed at all therefore my claim was inaccurate. Transactions that were not disputed were fault on Chase Banks end because I did tell the very first representative I spoke to about all of this and that every transaction from this date to this date were not done by me, which I explained to the guy. He did nothing but continue to argue with me and state I was lying. I asked for his name and Id and to please speak with a supervisor. He hung up on me. I was extremely frustrated at this point and called Chase Bank to resolve this issue and explain things to hopefully a representative that could and would help. I was told the same thing by every representative and was denied the opportunity to reopen the claims. On XX/XX/XXXX a dispute was made on the remaining transactions that had been left out. The representative was very helpful and told me if I had any documentation to support these disputes fax it in 3 separate times for each dispute and that this issue would be resolved. I faxed in a cover letter including name and dispute number along with the county letter starting XXXX dates. I called on Monday this week and the representative was very helpful!! She said the documents hadnt been applied to disputes yet to check back in a few days to confirm. She also said that she didnt know why he claim for {$2100.00} was closed out because no investigation showed to be completed fully on it and it seemed to her that whomever chose to denied the {$79.00} claim for inconsistent information automatically applied that it the first claim as well but not to worry because the supporting documentation would give enough evidence to reopen and resolved as they should have in the beginning. I called back again on Thursday to check the status of my claims only to be told the same thing I had been told about the reasoning for denial, etc., my dispute claimed were unable to be re opened due to inconsistent info, etc and they were sorry they werent able to help. I asked to speak to a supervisor in hopes he/she could do more in helping resolve. I was told there wasnt any supervisors or managers available. I told her Id wait on hold and I also asked if I could request a call from any hire up that became available, I was told no option for that would be available. Chase Bank reversed all provisional credits on that had been applied to my account on XX/XX/XXXX due to the claims being denied. I feel this is unfair and unethical. And I am certain that nobody in my shoes would be okay with nor choose to settle if this were their bank account. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. Banks are FDIC insured for a reason. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I called Chase about several transactions not authorized. I was transfer to the claims department. The representative did not speak XXXX well. I proceeded with explaining that transactions starting from XXXX XXXX til XXXX XXXX for luckyland online casino where duplicate charges and also done with a digital wallet as I was billed in XXXX different debit cards transactions. The representative proceeded by starting a claim and that there where a lot of transactions that she would not be able to give me a total but that I would see a credit. And I told her a run down of the transactions. I also advise that I have never had a digital wallet.After receiving temporary credit I checked my account and saw that they had not credit the higher amounts of the transactions so I once again called on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and told the representative that alot of the transactions were not included I was then told that they are still checking the claim and that I would still receive more credit. I never got any additional credits. But did receive letters notification that transactions where made in error and the credit will be permanently. I once again called chase on XXXX XXXX and told them that multiple higher amount transactions were not credited and I needed them to be included on the claim. The representative proceeded by saying that she was going to include all older transactions since a claim had been started even though they were pass the XXXX days allowed by Chase. I advise her that I needed credit for the month of XXXX only and to please add all the transactions that were for XXXX and XXXX as I was not credited for all of them. Again I was told I would receive credit. The credit provided was for the wrong time frame. Again i continued to receive letters stating the charges were in error and the credit was finalized and that it would not be reversed. On XXXX XXXX Chase did not homor payments made to my mortgage provider, my car and auto insurance payments. Even though there were funds available. They proceeded by closing my account permanently and they reversed all the credits given to me. I called Chase multiple times and the explanation given was because I had filled the claim pass the XXXX days the credits were removed. I explained to the representative that the information she was giving me was incorrect as all the transactions reversed where in fact for XXXX and I had called right away so there XXXX day rule did not factor the response given. Then my call got disconnected I called XXXX more times and the call is disconnected. I am now negative on Chase after being XXXX positive owe to me that I was told I was going to receive a check in XXXX days. Instead now shows I owe Chase XXXX dls as the account is in negative status. They closed my account and banned me from Chase rather then returning all the unauthorized charges. So they wont have to deal with me. Im requesting all the unauthorized transactions for XXXX that I received letters stating there werent valid to be reversed to my account and the money returned to me which is a total of XXXX dls and my direct deposit from my employer also returned to me which is XXXX dls. I never requested transactions from any other time frame to be unauthorized I only claimed for XXXX and they denied my claim and the reason was because I had a previous claim which is not true.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I received fake wiring instructions to have my client XXXX XXXX wire funds to a XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The wire directed my client to forward those funds to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I forwarded these instructions to my client who wired {$34000.00} to JP Morgan Chase with this name on the account and account number XXXX. This account was actually in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX, not the XXXX XXXX name. Those funds went to the XXXX account instead of the Trustee and XXXX subsequently closed the account. JP Morgan Chase refuses to discuss the issue and I subpoened the deposit account information which I am attaching. They have no one to speak to and have stonewalled my requests to speak to their in house counsel. I have had to reimburse my client for the funds fraudulent stolen from him. The bank should never had deposited the funds in an account that did not match the name on the wiring instructions. They have refused to do anything about this.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/22 i issued a {$10000.00} check to my broker ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) from my personal CHASE account on XX/XX/22 i was contacted by XXXXXXXX XXXX that someone had stolen the check and attempted to deposit that check into their personal account. XXXX picked up that the check was made out to XXXX and although the money was removed from my Chase account did not credit the thief 's account. XXXX told me to contact Chase and the money ( {$10000.00} ) would be promptly returned ( deposited ) back into my account. on XX/XX/22 i went into my local Chase branch and filled out all the paperwork for the " unauthorized endorsemen. '' on XX/XX/22 i was told by chase that all paperwork was " mailed '' to XXXXXXXX XXXX and w/in XXXX days the money should be returned. the Chase claim number is XXXX I have called Chase on numerous occasions and i am being told there is nothing more they can do - we simply need to wait for XXXX XXXX to respond. i have asked why they can not return my funds to me and when XXXX decides to return the funds they would go to Chase- or in the alternative contact XXXX again to ascertain that they actually got the original paperwork -- i am told that is not the procedure. the system is flawed in that ( XXXX ) there is no incentive for Citizens who is holding the money to promptly return the funds and ( XXXX ) Chase owes me the money and there is no incentive for them to have the money returned to me - there should be a penalty to one or both of them for this ridiculous delay

Consumer Complaint: During the nationally mandated shelter at home policy that then continued in my State of IL I was reported late by my credit card companies. I tried to be proactive and ask for help early on in 2020. However, these companies did not have assistance programs in place yet so they reported me late over and over month after month during the start of the pandemic. I have tried to dispute prior to now based on the HEROES ACT, my perfect pay history before the pandemic and my current pay history status, my proof of having the Coronavirus and proof that my state of IL is still under a state of Emergency per our Governor XXXX who has made his own calls. I should not be penalized because the companies did not have programs in place yet, the pandemic shutting the world down, caring for family who were affected by Coronavirus, caring for myself when I contracted XXXX and being in the Hospitality and Entertainment industries which were some of the hardest hit. It was no ones fault why should anyone be punished?

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2021 I agreed to rent an apartment that was advertised on XXXX. The cost was a {$1200.00} deposit and {$1500.00} for XXXX rent. I paid the amounts using XXXX to an account under " XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX respectively. It became clear that this was a fraudulent offering. I called Chase on or around XX/XX/2021 to claw back the funds. They refused to try to stop payment and said I would have to wait for the funds to clear on the other side and try to get my funds back by contacting the other bank. I called the other bank and they refused to do anything. I told the recipient bank they should at least look at the customer and account and freeze it to spare other victims. They responded that their customers ' activities are not my business. I called Chase again one or two more times and they continued to refuse to help. I was quite surprised by both banks ' responses - and disappointed in Chase- because I am in banking and this is not our response when a customer immediately calls about fraud that is in process where customer harm can be potentially mitigated. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX XXXX I revived a message stating that my debit card account was being added to XXXX XXXX ( the message was from my bank ). Soon after I received a call from the exact number of the chase headquarters. I missed the call and soon got another call that I answered assuming it was important. I was told on the call that I was getting a call from the chase fraud department and there was fraudulent activity occurring on my account involving someone trying to add XXXX XXXX to their wallet, and if that action wasnt me to press 1, then later in the call I was asked to variety to make sure it was me and gave them a the code they sent me. After the call my account containing a little under XXXX dollars was completely wiped. Soon later on XX/XX/XXXX my account was over drawn XXXX dollars. I had previously upon creating my checking account activated the feature chase overdraft assistSM which prevents your account from being overdrawn past XXXX dollars. Despite that feature being activated the next day following XX/XX/XXXX I get another email stating that my account is now overdrawn XXXX dollars. I have also yet started that on XX/XX/XXXX after the first incident I had closed my account to prevent any other charges. Upon filing the claim I was told the money was being reversed and would be given back to me. Unfortunately soon after receiving my full amount of money back into my account on XX/XX/XXXX my account was get drained again. I go to chase just to find out that theres absolutely nothing they can do because on that fraudulent call I authorized that money to be taken out of my account despite being lied to and the caller ID being exactly the one from chase headquarters. I have been taken advantage of and need to figure out a solution to my problem. A police report /fbi investigation was submitted and is attached to the complaint Thank you for youre time.
