Consumer Complaint: Chase Auto Finance has inaccurately placed my auto loan in a charge off state in XXXX of XXXX. XXXX ( XXXX party auto dealer ) paid the remaining balance of my auto loan in XX/XX/2021, XXXX month before the account was due to be in a charge off state. XXXX also made an attempt in XXXX of XXXX to payout the vehicle but according to Chase, they never received it. Chase intentionally stalled processing the new check of the full amount of the remaining loan until after I reached the charge off / delinquent date in order to receive the tax break and the full amount of the funds. During this waiting period, I was unable to make payments due to the bill of sale already being processed ( twice due to Chase stalling for XXXX weeks ) and also because of the disablement of my online Chase XXXX account due to the buying process. Ive asked for the XXXX remarks to be removed and provided documentation proving why case - Chase agreed but never followed through with the removal. Ive recently learned that XXXX and Chase are now affiliated with XXXX another and I believe both parties worked together to intentionally get a tax break by filing the charge off while also knowingly receiving the money of the full amount of the vehicle. Please investigate this unethical and predatory behavior.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Application denied
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22 and XX/XX/22 credit cards were applied for using my business information with XXXX XXXX Bank XXXX They denied the applications. The reference numbers for the denied applications with Chase Card Services are XXXX and XXXX. They sent me letters acknowledging they were denied due to what appeared to be fraudulent activity. I contacted XXXX and disputed these two inquiries which appear on my credit report and they recommended that I file a complaint with you to have it on record and perhaps this can help you catch these perpetrators. To be clear I am not disputing anything with Chase Card Services, they have done everything they are supposed to. I am hopeful in contacting them you may be able to collect information such as the fraudulent application and find the people who tried to do this.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/2023, I was notified by email that my XXXX credit file had a new Hard inquiry from JPMCB in reference to a new credit card application. I did not initiate any such application. I contacted XXXX first and disputed the item. They filed my dispute and directed me to contact this website as well as the Creditor, JPMCB. I am reporting the fraudulent inquiry here to further document this criminal activity.

Consumer Complaint: This credit card had a negative balance. The minimum payment of {$25.00} was paid monthly regardless of whether the card had a balance. A charge was made leaving a new balance of @ {$60.00}. Unbeknownst to me, the minimum payment suddenly changed to {$40.00}. I had lost the sign in and with paperless billing could not even see what happened. Since that time, they have been charging a {$40.00} late fee every month, and lots of interest. I wrote asking for a resolution as, between being unable to access the account and having COVID, I was unaware that they wanted another {$15.00}, and they did not even respond. Now they are claiming I owe them {$290.00} on an outstanding charge of less than {$40.00} which has been paid many times over since that time. This is an appalling abuse. They refuse to even correspond to let me know what can be done to resolve this, short of giving them {$300.00} I should not owe.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022, {$37.00} purchased a XXXX tights online. The product was received brand new but defected. So I contacted the merchant and merchant confirmed item was defected. However the merchant refuse to provide a return. Thus I file a claim with Chase return protection comes with my credit card benefit. The item fits the description on the advertise site on Chase that eligible for return protection. I attached a copy of their benefit page with this complaint. The bank rejected my case by 2 reasons : 1, Your item was not received in like-new/good working condition. Which is false, the item is brand new. Since it is defect it would never be in going working condition, and it is the whole reason I file the claim. Also on Chase benefit website there is never mention anything about 'good working condition ' in the first place. 2, Items purchased outside the United States are not covered. Which is also false, it is an US website charged me USD. Chase is saying the company is headquartered on XXXX. However, that make no sense and if it is the case then all purchases from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and etc. are all not going to qualify for this protection? I never purchase this item outside of US and there was no currency exchange involved. Chase is giving me invalid statements to reject my claim which they advertise they provide you 'return protection '. This is not acceptable. When their customer spends XXXX and trying to use one of the protection they advertised they turn them away.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 me and my partner received an email alert that there was a fraud transaction of {$1000.00} at XXXX from our business account. Then XXXX minutes later we received an email that a wire transfer was sent from our account. We were working at that time and none of us have ever done a wire transfer and did not authorize anything. We looked at our account right after we got the alert and our entire account was wiped out. A total of {$29000.00} was wired to a XXXX XXXX account. We called Chase Bank immediately and told them that there was a wire fraud on our account and to put a stop on it and do something because that was not us. All chase told us was that they were going to send papers in the mail for us to fill out and that is it. We waited two weeks and nothing came in so we called and called and someone finally said that we can get the papers at a local branch. They never told us that from the beginning. So we filed the police report and filled out the affidavit. Our claim got denied before we even sent in any documents and they never notified us. Then we waited another week and I called and it got denied again. They said they had recordings of me authorizing the wire and that I benefited from it. That never happened I never called no one or was on the phone with chase. Now our entire account is wiped and they are saying there's nothing else we can do.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer ( Chase Bank ) regarding an overseas transaction XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided extensive documentation to support my dispute ( attached ). None of the information I provided was ever acknowledged by Chase. In fact, I was specifically informed in one conversation with a customer service representative that my documents would not have been reviewed before the initial dispute response memo from Chase ( in which I was informed that the merchant said the charge was valid ). I requested to reopen the dispute, provided more documentation and repeated my request to Chase to acknowledge review of my documentation. However, I was again informed by memo today ( XXXX XXXX ) that Chase determined my charges to be valid with no explanation provided in response to my specific documentation. My documentation is provided with this complaint.

Issue: Problem caused by your funds being low
Subissue: Bounced checks or returned payments
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I ( XXXX XXXX ) deposited {$370.00} in cash to my chase checking account ending in XXXX. My plans for this money was to transfer the funds to my XXXX account ending in XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a transfer from Chase to XXXX for the {$370.00}. See picture attached. On XX/XX/XXXX the funds of {$370.00} show up in my XXXX account like I would expect them too. Chase has a policy where they close accounts with {$0.00} balances if they have been at {$0.00} for 60 days. Well mine had been, and coincidentally the same day I deposited my funds on the XXXX of XXXX, my account was due to be automatically closed. Now, this wouldnt be a problem because like I said I had the money in my XXXX account, but the following happens the next day : On XX/XX/XXXX I get a message saying were trying to reverse your transfer. If the reversal is successful, we'll credit this payment to your account within 4 business days ( see attached ). Well, Chase reversed the transfer from the XXXX account ending in XXXX ( attached transaction ID ) and now I have no money available, and no account for them to redeposit my money back into because it was closed. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Chase support and they had no idea where the money in, I was furious and went into my local chase branch in XXXX Indiana. I sat in there for 2 hours no answers whatsoever. On XX/XX/XXXX I get a message from chase saying We've reversed your transfer to XXXX for {$370.00} we delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. We'll credit your pay-from account on the next business day. Attached. I call support again and no answer to where this money would be going or no indications of when it will be resolved.
