Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dear Chase Card Services I. The consumer and natural person, was denied credit by Chase Card Services when I applied for CHASE FREEDOM VISA PLATINUM ACCOUNT. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. You are subject to criminally liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I have proof that i was discriminated against by Chase Card Services due to the response I received. Chase Card Services is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1642, U.S.C 1681m and 12 cfr 1002 because I, the consumer, made an application in good faith, but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security number ( credit card ) was used and i received NO benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of Chase Card Services If Chase Card Services fails to make any reasonable procedures to resolve this matter and compensate me for the use of my credit card within 10 business days of this notice I will indeed make Chase Card Services criminally and civilly liable for all actual damages pursuant to 15 USC 1681n and 15 USC 1681o. I will also follow up with an invoice for said violations ( { {$10000.00} } per violation ). Thank you, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem making or receiving payments
Consumer Complaint: We initiated a transaction on {$160.00} from our XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX to pay our XXXX credit card bill. XXXX shows our account being charged {$160.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX informs us that the payment was not received until XX/XX/XXXX ( 13 days after initiation ) and as a result charged us a {$30.00} late fee and {$5.00} interest fee. We contacted XXXX who agreed to waive the {$30.00} late fee but they then escalated us to a manager before finally agreeing to refund the {$5.00} of interest. They asked, and of course I didn't know, whether the payment was made from chase as a paper check or electronically and advised me next time to pay by phone. I then contacted XXXX to determine whether bill pay would be reliable for us going forward. With plenty of hold time in between, XXXX customer service transferred me to disputes who transferred me back to customer service who transferred me to the " quick-pay team ''. This team told me that the check was cashed by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. When I asked XXXX why a paper check was sent, XXXX said that they payee requires paper checks. I am frustrated with XXXX who charged me fees for a digital payment supposedly being just a day or two late ( they said they saw it in their system as of XX/XX/XXXX ). I'm frustrated that XXXX is apparently not able to live up to the " 5 day '' claim of paper check payments ( let alone the XXXX days they say an electronic payment takes ) and that they are not interested in taking accountability or even investigating on their end. XXXX is not interested in working with XXXX to resolve this dispute. They did generate for me a proof of payment.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by a person identifying themselves as an employee of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) on XXXX/XXXX/2023, advising they needed me to be at my home to be served with documents for a XXXX on my residence. I requested further information and was given a case # and a toll free telephone # XXXX, as I advised I knew nothing about such action. In the 20 minutes after I spoke with XXXX, they called my neighbor, my son, my home phone, my office phone, and my employer, advising I needed to make myself available for service. I called the number given to get more information. That subject advised he worked for the Law Firm of XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that I owed XXXX XXXX of Delaware {$22000.00}. I advised him I had no such account. He then said it was Chase Bank, I advised I had no Chase Credit Cards. He then told me they were coming to my work to serve me with a garnishment. When I advised him I knew that was false, as there was no Warrant in Debt or judgement against me, he became verbally abusive. I hung up at that time.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased train ticket XX/XX/XXXX for a ride XX/XX/XXXX. Like most people do, I purchased these tickets ahead of travel. When we got to the train station we had an issue where they said we would be refunded and to purchase a new set. We did this and I worked with the train company for 2 months with no response back. I filed a dispute in XXXX with Chase. They first responded to me XX/XX/XXXX that they received it. They called me at least 5 times as well as emailed me twice for the same information which I provided the receipt of the new tickets and details of the events. In XXXX I called back and the customer service representative said on the phone that the dispute was accidentally closed out even though I had sent all information in the correct time period. She reopened and had me fill everything out again. XX/XX/XXXX I was informed that it had taken too long. Why when I spoke to XXXX different people on the phone and XXXX emails did no XXXX advise this? There are several recorded lines of this not being mentioned at all. I have proof of purchase of the other tickets which were purchased XX/XX/XXXX. I have spent over {$25000.00} in less than a year with this company and I feel like they really dont care. I said I would like to close my card because of this and the associate did nothing to try to keep my business just closed my card like that. This isnt fair at all and I want my money back.
