Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: RE : State, ex Rel. Attorney General as Notice of Rescission of Signature for Cease and Desist caused by Predatory Debt Collection Operation, I am writing to shed light on a company that I feel is operating unfairly. I see this as unfair and it appears deceptive. I feel I was targeted for unauthorized use of my signature caused by making false and misleading representations due to engaging in various abusive and unfair practices. I am able to fight this but what about the elderly and the infirm who depend on these products or services and are taken advantage of by this type of financing for alleged debts. I do think this is an unfair practice for all consumers. This builds distrust. I will never do business with this dishonorable company again as I feel they failed to provide validation of debts, proof for legally binding signature as a valid contract, and lack of due process as adequate notification of contract changes. This pattern of dishonest practice acts, although maybe legal, is not fair. Please take a look at this companys practices as adverse actions. Please feel free to forward and share this deprivation of rights complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of Currency for full-scale and complete intensive investigations. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on todays date. /s/ XXXX XXXX XXXX

Subissue: Bounced checks or returned payments
Consumer Complaint: I was scammed by a phone call on XXXX @ XXXXXXXX XXXX by what I thought was a customer rep from Chase bank since my caller ID on my cell phone number was the identical number for Chase bank. The caller instructed me that a wire transfer was happening in real time from a female in Florida named XXXX XXXX who was attempting to fraudently wire transfer {$9.00} from my checking account with Chase. I was driving down the street when this call occurred doing an errand and then I was planning to go back to my XXXX shift as a school bus driver on duty at XXXX XXXX. i was in a frenazy mentally my min d racing at this sudden bad news. The caller then instructed me to initiate another wire transfer to a supposed new Chase routing number and account number by doing a reverse transaction and submitting it to the new account which I did. Afterwards I started thinking after I parked the car and thought this couldn't be right and I hung up the phone on the caller but it ended up being too late since I submitted the wire transfer. The caller called me back within a minute or two and asked me if i indeed submitted the transfer and at this point I finally started to realize that this could well be a scam and I hung up the phone again. I hurriedly called off my job that afternoon and drove to the nearest Chase bank branch in XXXX XXXX XXXX to report this incident and I was hoping that somehow they could stop this transaction to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX but it was too late I learned later through their bank website security messages. I haven't heard anything since now being 3 weeks apparently since I was tricked into doing this wire fraud they refuse to get my funds returned to my account. i had impending bill withdrawals the next morning from my account so I had to get an emergency credit card cash advance to deposit into my personal checking account so my debits wouldn't bounce. I'm writing this story to this site in the hopes somehow I can get my {$1500.00} back since i had read on internet similar stories where the bank did refund the customer 's money. Thanks for whatever help you can provide.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I received a call from Chase Bank XXXX XXXX ) informing me there was fraudulent activity on my account. I looked up the phone number, and it registered to the local chase bank. The individual provided me with my backup phone numbers on the account ( i.e, my in laws ), and asked me my chase security questions. He then sent a text message from Chase and asked me to confirm the number sent to confirm I am who I say I am. Ultimately, he added my chase debit card to his XXXX XXXX He was not Chase. I called Chase immediately, and they thought they stopped it. However, they did not. He was able to take {$380.00} from my savings and {$500.00} from my checking. A total of {$880.00}. I contacted chase, and even though I filed a police report ( which I can provide if necessary ) and had proof of the transactions taking place at two separate Chase ATMs, ( I can provide the addresses ), they are not refunding the money. Stating that they can not control XXXX XXXX and they did an investigation and said because I provided him with the text number, I was delinquent. I also asked Chase how he knew all of my information from Chase. Including all my security questions. And how he was able to send me the text message from Chase. They did not have an answer.

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Funds not received from closed account
Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX XXXX account # XXXX. On XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ; I deposited XXXX bank drafts online in the total amount of ( XXXX USD ) which was given by my real brother namely XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank Draft # XXXX {$2000.00} Bank Draft # XXXX {$2000.00} Bank Draft # XXXX {$2000.00} Bank Draft # XXXX {$3000.00} On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I went to the Chase branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX to withdraw my funds. I came to know that bank put a hold on my account due to suspicious activity which could be a potential fraud. I told the bank XXXX that my brother gave me those bank drafts because he borrowed XXXX USD from me a month ago and I issued XXXX cheques of XXXX each from the same account I deposited back. Cheque # XXXX, XXXX, XXXX The bank XXXX contacted customer service to resolve the issue. Then the compliance told me that my account has been closed due to that potential fraud. The only solution is that my brother should come to any chase bank branch to verify that he has issued those bank drafts. Unfortunately, my brother is not a XXXX Citizen yet and he needs XXXX XXXX to visit the XXXX. He applied for XXXX XXXX and the interview date was set for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. But due to some reason, his file is still in process and he couldn't get the visa to date. I provided all the required documents through Fax ( from XXXX XXXX ) to the Chase Bank compliance department to resolve this issue. It is understood and very clear that when the funds were released by the bank that issued the bank drafts and never got any complaint about those funds then that transaction can't be a potential fraud. Chase Bank have the funds for almost a year and is not releasing the funds. My brother is unable to visit USA so there should be another legal way to get his verification or affidavit through an attorney or lawyer in XXXX who can act on behalf of Chase Bank.
