Consumer Complaint: I previously had an account for internent service with XXXX but I closed the account in XXXX and paid the balance in full. However, in XXXX I received a bill from XXXX stating that I have an out standing balance I ca n't remember the exactly amount but I think it was about {$38.00} I called them we argued but they told me that I was billed for the month on XXXX even though I had cancelled my account. because I did n't want to have any problem with my credit, I paid the amount in full the requested. but in XXXX I reveived another bill from XXXX again so I called them right away on wednesday XXXX XXXX 2015.After they transferred me XXXX different places, I finally talked to XXXX of their agent called XXXX. she told me the account was set up in XXXX so I asked her how the account was set up under my name with my address and all my information without my concern? but she did n't give me any definite answer, she just said maybe it was an error. however, she to me everything was taken care of and there is nothing to worry about. she give me this confirmation number ( XXXX ) that the account was closed and everything was clear. At the end of XXXX, I received another bill from XXXX but I thought maybe it was sent before I talk to them in XXXX so I ignored it, however early this month, i received another bill from XXXX again and this time I also received a litter from collection again attempting to collect a debit ( here IC system, account # XXXX ) I also called them but she demanded me to pay the balance of {$120.00} which I told I do not own, so I told her I will called XXXX I hanged up and called XXXX right away an agent name XXXX XXXX answered the phone, I explained everything to her she told me it look like it is system error becauses the account showed it was cancelled in XXXX, so I asked her to please transfered me to the manager, so she transferred to another agent name XXXX, I spoke with XXXX for about five minutes before i realized she was not the manager, I asked to transferred to the manager but she said the manager was in the meeting and asked for my contact number to call me back whenever the meeting is over, I gave her my number and asked for the manager number in case they do n't call me so I can call them because they have done it to me before and they never call me back. But she refused to give me the manager or any direct call back number, I to her please give me the manager number so that I can call back whenever he/she finishes the meeting, she said there is no direct number and hanged up on me. So please I really need help for someone to question these people why are they doing this, and secondly clear my name and all my information in their system, I do n't trust them any more and I do n't want them to have any of my information in their system. thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I had an XXXX landline phone account which I had closed around XXXX XXXX. In XXXX XXXX, I get a notification ( in the form of a bill ) from XXXX that the same phone account has been reinstated, without my prior knowledge. I file a complaint with XXXX by calling their customer care representative. I am told that I wo n't owe any amount and that it will be taken care of. However, a few months later I got another inflated bill ( without any explanation of the charges on the bill ). I called the XXXX customer care again and they said the same thing that they will take care of the charge. In XXXX XXXX, I receive a letter from XXXX collection agency alleging that I owe XXXX for the above mentioned account. When I called the XXXX customer care representative, he mentioned that XXXX can not do anything at this point as the debt has been sold to the collection agency. Hence, I disputed the collection claim in writing with the collection agency saying that I do not owe this amount and I will need detailed documentation validating this claim. I do not hear from the collection agency again. In XXXX XXXX, I get a phone call from another collection agency named XXXX mentioning that I owe the alleged debt amount and I should pay it right away on phone or else it will be sent to the credit bureaus. I told them that I am disputing this alleged debt amount and that I should be sent detailed documentation validating the debt amount. They called me again threatening the same thing and I reiterated to send documentation for this debt. There was no further communication from them, either in writing or on phone. Now in XXXX XXXX, I see that there is a delinquent entry in my credit report from another collection agency called IC System. I have never heard of IC System before and have never received any communication from them. My credit score has suffered because of this entry and I fear that I may not be entitled to a loan or at a better interest rate.

Consumer Complaint: We receive calls from this business for months. They do not leave any message, or reason for calling. Finally I called them by using caller ID. They are looking for someone I do not know, and they are a collection agency. I pay all my bills promptly, and do not deserve to be harassed for someone else 's debts. The collection industry is XXXX I have avoided for XXXX years. I do not want to hear from any of them ever. They are ruining my mornings. Why are they allowed to do that? The Do Not Call rules appear to give them permission. How come?

Consumer Complaint: A few years ago XX/XX/XXXX, ( unfortunately I ca n't remember the date ), I ordered XXXX. The service tech came, installed the product. Within a matter of days XXXX XXXX would n't work. At the cost of {$50.00} a tech came and fiddled around with the system got it working and stated that I will never get good reception because of the trees on my property. A couple of days later I called XXXX again because of no reception. Again, at the fee of {$50.00}, the tech stated I would need to have my trees removed to get good reception. I called XXXX XXXX and asked that they come and remove their system from my home. I called my previous carrier who showed up that very day to reinstall my XXXX XXXX. XXXX sent me a shipping box to send them back their product. I paid my remaining bill and felt assured they were now a part of my past. Since that time XXXX XXXX has been trying to collect {$410.00} from me. XXXX states that when I requested their service it was " understood '' that I was in a 2 year contract with them! I NEVER agreed to such a contract. They stated because I broke the contract, I owe them this money!!! I feel they owe ME money!! I never received the service from them that I paid for. I had it for less than a month and it was never explained to me that I was in a 2 year commitment with them. I recently received a debt collection notice from a collection agency. I called them, stated this information again and they stated they will notify XXXX of my dispute and I should hear back in 60 days. I have had this conversation over and over and over again with XXXX XXXX. From my last conversation with XXXX, I " understood '' they were closing this case and I did n't owe them. I was very surprised to receive a debt collection notice from a collection agency. I need your help to get them to STOP trying to collect money I DO NOT OWE THEM.

The account, however, was closed ten months later due to irregularities in billing and the fact that such account was been inflated with excessive fees. The problems revolves around the fact that after having closed the account for such reason.I.C SYSTEM Inc a collection agency on behalf of XXXX has engaged in practices I consider to be instigative and harrassive.Since they have continued to call my house in order to demand payment for early termination fees. despite the fact that I never entered into contract with XXXX.
