Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I have diligently corresponded with Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX, highlighting numerous inaccuracies in my consumer credit profile, including erroneous late payment reports. XXXX and Equifax is reporting inaccurate payment history to my consumer report. XXXX is not reporting the same information that XXXX and Equifax is reporting inaccurate concerning a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account is paid off in full and no late payments should be reporting to my consumer credit profile concerning this account. Below I have attached documents as proof. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), explicitly outlined in 15 USC 1681, consumer reporting agencies are mandated to handle their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and profound respect for consumer privacy. As a consumer, I am inherently entitled to safeguard my private information, a right supported by 15 USC 6801, which underscores the obligation of financial institutions to uphold customer privacy and protect nonpublic personal information. The entities providing information to credit agencies, known as " Furnishers, '' fall under this definition of financial institutions. According to 15 USC 1681, Section 604 ( a ), any consumer report furnished by these agencies should strictly adhere to the written instructions of the concerned consumer. I assert that Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX, as the Furnishers of information to credit agencies, have no right or written consent from me to furnish my information. All forms of consent, be it verbal, non-verbal, written, or implied, are hereby revoked. Moreover, under 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), financial institutions can not disclose nonpublic personal information to THIRD parties unless consumers are given an explanation of how to exercise their nondisclosure option. The failure to inform me of this right by the Furnishers is a notable omission. Additionally, according to 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ), consumer reporting agencies are prohibited from including adverse information without proper authorization. This inclusion, without my consent, violates the law. Furthermore, as per 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ), agencies are prohibited from furnishing inaccurate consumer information knowingly. Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX should maintain reasonable procedures, as mandated by 15 U.S. Code 1681e, to prevent violations and limit the furnishing of consumer reports. Reporting transaction history without permissible purpose is illegal per this code. Lastly, 15 USC 1681 ( c ) states that no adverse items, besides the conviction of CRIMES, should be on the consumer credit profile, and any item that is a derogatory mark is not allowed into the consumer reports. This is a violation, and anything added to the consumer report without written consent could be considered identity theft according to 12 CFR 1022.3.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a COMPLAINT XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, for UNLAWFUL REPORTING without my consent, their continued DECEPTION, FCRA VIOLATION and MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY. My complaint was solely due to the FCRA VIOLATION by failing to RESPECT MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY. NOT for OWNERSHIP. XXXX XXXX - account {$0000.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX - account # XXXX, XXXX cited CFPB the " Bureau '' As stated in the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION for its Advisory Opinions Policy. ' EQUIFAX collect and assemble or evaluate information about, among other things. This collection, assembly, evaluation, dissemination, and use of vast quantities of often highly sensitive personal and financial information about me ( the consumer ) poses significant risks to my privacy. The FCRA regulates EQUIFAX Consumer Reporting, Congress enacted the statute " to ensure fair and accurate credit reporting, and protect consumer privacy. '' Also, noted, One of the problems with the credit reporting industry that Congress recognized and sought to remedy with the FCRA was that " information in a person 's credit file ( was ] not always kept strictly confidential. The statue was enacted to prevent undue invasion of MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY in the collection and dissemination of my credit information. I HAVE A RIGHT TO PRIVACY. If I DON'T want my information disseminated I have that legal right. FCRA section 604, entitled " Permissible purposes of consumer reports, '' identifies an exclusive list of " permissible purposes '' for which EQUIFAX may provide my consumer reports, with my written instructions and for purposes relating to credit, employment, and insurance. * The statute states that EQUIFAX may provide my consumer reports under these circumstances " and no other. '' The Advisory opinion also reminds Consumer Reports users that the FCRA section 604 F, strictly prohibits a person who uses or obtains a consumer report from doing so without a permissible purpose which NONE WAS GIVEN. I demand the unlawful reporting of XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX to be deleted from my consumer report immediately. EQUIFAX has NOT provided me with any written instruction that was given to them or XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX to report ANY of my personal information. Both reportings DID NOT RESPECT MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY as Congress have stated. 15 U.S. Code 1681- Congressional findingsand statement of purpose ( 4 ) There is a need to insure thatconsumerreporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for to theconsumers right to privacy. EQUIFAX HAVE VIOLATED MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY by selling my consumer file to a third party WITHOUT MY WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. Equifax has knowingly received THE COMPLAINT XXXX, XXXX but has chose to mislead the Bureau in responding of a alleged Investigation which they know. was NOT a dispute. Again, EQUIFAX continue tactics in misleading the Bureau knowingly that none was ever conducted. With Equifax continued immoral intention by deceptive means in prolonging a response to my Complaint on CFPB Portal to further misled the Bureau but has listed the alleged investigation completed on their website. THIS IS PROHIBITED I am including the following accounts information. 1. EQUIFAX dispute page from THEIR WEBSITE XX/XX/XXXX that shows lists OPENED and CLOSED disputes which contradicts the accurate dates which they received my complaint. 2. Any " written instructions '' by me be provided to the " Bureau ''. Equifax HAS NOT provided what was asked of them. This has been an ongoing violation by Euifax and I ask the Enforcement Dept and Supervision Dept be provided my Consumer file for review. I will be seeking counsel in this legal matter,

Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX and XXXX. I have reached 120 payments and accounts should show as paid in full. My employer certified my most recent months of employment and XXXX only applied 2 months. XXXX didn't apply XXXX and XXXX in an effort to prevent me from reaching 120 payments. They purposely placed me in a forbearance when I didn't check the box to be placed in forbearance. I contacted XXXX and they advised me I was in repayment however the representative provided false information that I was going to receive a letter that i reached 120 payments. I never received said letter and the only letter I received was that I had 118 payments and 2 didn't qualify. This is unfair and unjust because they are not applying the payments. My payments are {$0.00}. lease update my account status to paid in full so my true account status can be reflected.
