Consumer Complaint: My student loan was part of the federal forgiveness program and the outstanding balance was forgiven, leaving me with a balance of {$0.00}. I received a letter from XXXX stating the new {$0.00} balance, which I submitted to the 3 credit reporting agencies 6 months ago, when I start the dispute process. XXXX updated the account and correctly shows a {$0.00} balance. However, as of today Equifax and XXXX haven't updated my account with the correct balance. They are still showing an incorrect balance, which is affecting my credit score and ability to refinance my home.

Consumer Complaint: According to the Privacy Act of 1974, it was created to protect and curb the illegal surveillance and investigation of individuals by federal agencies. Also 12 CFR 1016.7 states that A consumer may exercise the right to opt out at any time. I am opting out of your reporting services to XXXX, Equifax and XXXX.

It has served me well until XX/XX/XXXX when the product quit providing the information it had promised me. The error message said it was a temporary problem. Ive reached out to Equifax seeking a resolution. Apparently, they are unable or unwilling to resolve this issue. In other words, my request for help was ignored XX/XX/XXXX - Once again, I was told it would be 7-10 days to resolve XX/XX/XXXX - called in. No results. Equifax didnt escalate this because they claim the call was disconnected. They did not reach out to me after the disconnection XX/XX/XXXX - I called once again. I confirmed that nothing was done despite the representative telling me it would be escalated XX/XX/XXXX - The product worked for XXXX day XX/XX/XXXX- I was told it would be resolved in 3 days. I was also told that if a changed my browser to XXXX the application would worked. I questioned this as there are millions of XXXX users. They were insistent. I tried XXXX and my product still doesnt work. XX/XX/XXXX- I followed up on the call from XX/XX/XXXX. I was told it would be 7-10 working days despite being told 3 days on XX/XX/XXXX In addition, my credit report is not available through XXXX.
