Consumer Complaint: Why has your bureau not taken immediate action to delete the fraudulent accounts as soon as an identity theft complaint was filed? HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY CONTINUING TO REPORT ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS FRAUDULENT BY OTHER CREDIT BUREAUS AND ACKNOWLEDGED AS SUCH IN MY IDENTITY THEFT COMPLAINT? DO YOU COMPREHEND THE SEVERITY OF THE CONSEQUENCES I AM FACING DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE IN RESOLVING THIS MATTER PROMPTLY? I was the victim and Im not sure why the CRA is not complying with the law. The other bureaus have followed suit. Im very confused why this one seems to ignore my requests. Despite the gravity of the situation, the accounts in question persist on my credit report, undermining my financial standing and causing irreparable damage. Consumer Complaint: I experienced a hardship during Covid/laid off and called XXXX XXXX to create an accommodation. As agreed, the account was paid, and the credit card company ensured there would be no late payments updated on my account as long as I adhered to the accommodation agreement. The account was paid as agreed on XX/XX/2023. I recently pulled a copy of my credit profile and realized there has been a series of late payments updated on my credit profile. I have contacted the CRA ( XXXX, Equifax, and XXXX ) requesting the information be updated as I have included all documentation. There has been no response or any due diligence to investigating this information on my behalf. These late payments are in violation of 15 USC 1666B with a billing error. Furnishing this information to my account is also in violation of 15 USC 1681. There should be no late payments listed on my account, this is not affecting my ability to obtain credit for my new home.
