Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am filing a detailed complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for a series of unethical practices, targeted retaliation, and false reporting that have significantly impacted my financial standing. 1. Inaccurate Reporting of Payment History and Targeted Retaliation : XXXX inaccurately reported my account, ending in XXXX, as XXXX days past due. This misinformation appears to be linked to the combination of a XXXX loan with a credit card, resulting in complex challenges in resolving this matter. The closure of my accounts and other punitive actions taken by XXXX directly correlate with my dispute, indicating targeted retaliation. 2. Mismanagement of Payments, Unauthorized Transaction, and Late Fees : Despite submitting an additional payment of {$8300.00} on XX/XX/2023, with the intention of paying off my loan, XXXX neglected to apply this payment, incurring unnecessary interest and charges. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid {$1300.00}, and XXXX responded with an unauthorized transaction attempt of {$7000.00}, seemingly in retaliation for retracting an optional loan purchase. Even while adhering to a payment plan, XXXX charged late fees, contradicting the agreed-upon arrangement. 3. Fallacious Reporting, Arbitrary Credit Limit Reduction, and Confusing Inconsistencies within XXXX System : On XX/XX/XXXX, despite making the agreed-upon minimum payment of {$310.00}, XXXX imposed a late fee based on false reporting. Additionally, XXXX arbitrarily reduced my credit card limit, distorting the appearance of my payments and negatively impacting my credit score. The credit card system displays confusing inconsistencies, particularly regarding unclear minimum payments, and support team members struggle to provide coherent explanations. Enclosed with this complaint, Ive provided relevant payment receipts, illustrating my consistent efforts to meet financial obligations despite the challenges posed by XXXX system. Given the severity and multiplicity of these issues, I urgently request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to conduct a thorough investigation. It is my sincere hope that the Bureau holds XXXX accountable for these actions, ensuring fair and ethical practices are maintained. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and anticipate a comprehensive examination of the facts.

Consumer Complaint: Over the course of several months, I have sent multiple letters to XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax, highlighting the specific instances of non-compliance with the Metro 2 Compliance Standard. Despite my efforts to bring these issues to their attention, the credit reporting agencies have failed to address the clear violations and inaccuracies present on my credit report. Their lack of action is not only a violation of the Metro 2 Compliance Standard but also a breach of the FDCPA and FCRA. A recent re-investigation conducted on XX/XX/XXXX to dispute XXXX XXXX, Account # XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, my credit report still reflects the status date or date last reported as XX/XX/XXXX, while the investigation was allegedly ongoing. This glaring disparity strongly suggests that XXXX, Equifax and XXXX 's investigation was either incomplete, negligently conducted, or conducted with a complete disregard for accuracy and compliance with the FCRA. This discrepancy not only calls into question the thoroughness of the investigation conducted by XXXX, XXXX and Equifax but also potentially violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically Section 611 ( a ) ( 7 ). A letter DATED on XX/XX/XXXX disputed an account XXXX XXXX, Account # XXXX is an unfair and inaccurate item reporting to my credit report that is violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). A letter DATED on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) are being reported inaccurately, with a high limit balance that is lower than the actual balance owed. This error violates my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). According to both the FCRA and the FDCPA, it is strictly prohibited for a collection agency to report a balance on a transferred or sold account. It is evident from my credit report that XXXX XXXX XXXX is in violation of this crucial provision. A letter was DATED on XX/XX/XXXX in regards to inexcusable METRO 2 COMPLIANCE ERRORS for : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The following fields : consumer account number, portfolio type, account type, and account status ( BSCF7, BSCF8, BSCF9, BSCF17A ) are all questionable. The ECOA code is missing ( BSCF37 ), and there are numerous deceptive and inconsistent data entries ( BSCF10, BSCF24 ), along with questionable and missing details ( BSCF12, BSCF21, BSCF13 ). In a recent letter DATED XX/XX/XXXX to AGAIN dispute the inaccuracy of these reported accounts also listed : XXXX XXXX XXXX : Amounts : {$500.00}, {$1800.00}, {$1100.00}, {$2000.00}, {$1300.00}, {$2700.00}, {$1900.00}, {$2400.00} Reported on : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : Amounts : {$4200.00}, {$1100.00}, {$16000.00}, {$16000.00} Reported on : XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Amount : {$1500.00} Reported on : XX/XX/XXXX These accounts also violate the Metro 2 compliance standards, specifically Base Segment Character Format ( BSCF ) 7, 9, 8, and 17A. The reporting of the account number, account type, and account status is not only questionable but seemingly inaccurate and unacceptable. Furthermore, the absence of vital data under BSCF15 and BSCF13the monthly payment amount and term durationdirectly contravenes the Metro 2 standard, causing significant harm to my credit score. In a letter DATED XX/XX/XXXX in regards to inexcusable XXXX XXXX COMPLIANCE ERRORS for : XXXX : {$3400.00} CREDIT FIRST XXXX A : {$1300.00} CREDIT FIRST XXXX A : {$1200.00} XXXX BANK XXXX XXXX {$970.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX BANK XXXX {$2200.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$480.00} SYNCB/PPC : {$2400.00} XXXX BANK LUXURY : {$1300.00} XXXX BANK USA/TARGET CREDIT : {$2000.00} There XXXX XXXX entries for consumer account number, portfolio type, account type, and account status ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). The ECOA code is missing ( BSCF37 ), and multiple fields ( BSCF10, BSCF24, BSCF12, BSCF21, BSCF13 ) are deceptive, inconsistent, missing, or questionable These issues have resulted in persistent inaccuracies and violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), demonstrating a flagrant disregard for consumer rights. These inaccurate items on my credit report have adversely affected my financial standing and have the potential to impact my ability to secure credit, employment, and housing. It is disheartening to see these credit reporting agencies neglecting their responsibility to ensure accurate and fair reporting, thereby compromising the rights of consumers.
