Under 15 USC 1681b - permissible purpose of consumer reports, THE LAW CLEARLY STATES : ( b ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Did I give you written instructions to furnish this on my credit report? Furthermore, the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT 15 USC 1681 ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) Exclusions from a consumer credit report clearly states : ( 2 ) EXCLUSIONS.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) Subject to section 1681s-3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; Delete the above late payments from my consumer report, this agency is in violation of 15 USC 1681 Failure to respond satisfactorily with deletion of the above referenced account, and send out a free copy of my report after the changes have been made will result in legal actions being taken against your company, for which I will also be seeking {$1000.00} per violation for : 5. Consumer Complaint: I placed an order for car rental reservation on XXXX for dates XX/XX/2022 through XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The vendor is XXXX. The total amount of the reservation is {$630.00}. While renting the car, this was the amount that I was told and by local XXXX that I will be billed. However, after returning back home to the US, I found that I was charged {$1000.00}, without any reason ( there are no extra charges for fuel, damage, late return etc. - the base amount is simply {$1000.00}, instead of {$630.00}. I filed a dispute with Capital One, and after a few weeks received a reply ( see attached ) that the vendor reject my dispute, attaching some documents that support, to their view, the {$1000.00} charge. I then replied Capital One ( fax sent on XX/XX/2022 - attached ), explaining that the vendor " supporting documents '' are simply internal records from their systems, without any evidence that I approved this charge, nor even was aware of it. I received a reply to this letter that the timeframe to handle a dispute has past, and therefore they are not able to address this dispute.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXXXXXX XXXX 2023 I downloaded the XXXX XXXX app to check on the accuracy of my credit report and discovered I had a hard inquiry and an auto loan from Capital One Auto Finance being reported. I have never applied for an auto loan with Capital One Auto Finance, nor have I never received any money from Capital One Auto Finance. This has to be some kind of mistake or someone has committed fraud, because I have never received an auto loan from Capital One Auto Finance.

Consumer Complaint: FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT/REGULATION V. Section XXXX of the FCRA and Regulation V generally provide that a furnisher must not furnish inaccurate consumer information to a CRA, and that furnishers must investigate a consumer 's dispute that the furnished information is inaccurate or incomplete. I've disputed the accuracy of my payment history on XXXX of my capital one accounts. Disputes made through each credit reporting company and all continue to come back verified as accurate. I've sent certified mail and called reguarding this information and requested documents that show the verification. I have yet received and documents and the inaccurate reporting still shows on my credit profile. Delete the late payment history and update the accounts and report them properly to all XXXX credit reporting companies. XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, each credit reporting company should all have the same exact information nothing should be different.

Consumer Complaint: I set up auto payment when I got the Kohl 's card last fall. Each month I have had issues where the payment gets rejected and I am charged a late fee. When I go into my account the auto pay settings disappear and have to set it up again - even though the customer service person shows it has been set up numerous times. Their system does not allow you to set your payment date prior to the due date so that any issues can be addressed before the payment is considered late, notifications are only sent once a payment is late. Every month I have called Kohls to address this problem. They have told me I am entering my card in incorrectly and there's nothing they can do. I have double checked my account numbers to assure they are correct, and it shows a verified XXXX XXXX XXXX account after it is entered. They claim there aren't any reported issues with their autopay, but this has happened 3 months in a row and has not negatively impacted my credit score. I love the in store benefits of this card but am tired of the constant problems trying to pay the balance. It shouldn't be this difficult or time consuming to pay a bill. Please address these issues and improve your online experience.

Consumer Complaint: I have been unable to determine the Past Due Payment Amount on my Capital One Account. Capital One does not indicate anywhere on the statement ( Printed or Web Portal ) the amount of the Past Due Payment. In fact in the " Payment Information '' Section on the Statement, the only information provided is the Payment Due Date, New Balance, and the Minimum Payment Due. Capital One does not indicate anywhere in the " Payment Information '' Section that the account is past due or the Past Due Payment Amount. In fact, looking at the information printed in the " Payment Information '' Section, my account appears to be " CURRENT ''. To me this is practice by Capital One is " DECEPTIVE ''. I have had many Credit Cards in my lifetime and all the Credit Card Companies I have worked with, always indicate the Past Due Payment Amount. If Capital One would have indicated this information in the Payment Section of the Statement, I would have at least made the past-due payment amount in order to keep my account from being Reported the Credit Reporting Agencies . Because this common information was not provided in the Payment Section or anywhere on the Capital One Statement, I have been reported delinquent to the CRA by Capital One. Because Capital One " FAILED '' to release this information, I have been injured as a " CONSUMER ''. In my line of work, I must keep my credit report in good standing in order to renew my Profession License each year. The FAILURE of Capital One places my lively hood in JEOPARDY!!

This entity is the XXXX XXXX XXXX organization and I am the XXXX XXXX XXXX the organization. Typical deposits are a portion of election qualification distributed by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2021 the treasurer, XXXX XXXX XXXX unexpectedly passed away. XXXX XXXX was the elected treasurer of the organization. Capital One has refused the organization access to the account without a death certificate. The organization is not an appropriate entity to get a death certificate nor is the asset part of XXXX XXXX estate. The new treasurer ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) went to the Capital One location in XXXX XXXX and was denied even information regarding additional information regarding the identity of approved signers on the account. Capital One has provided no path forward to gain access to the account. I submitted a complaint to Capital One and was assigned this to reference - XXXX. I request the assistance of the CFPB so that we can gain access to an asset held XXXX by Capital One.

Consumer Complaint: I updated my banking account information on XX/XX/2023, prior to making the full payment amount due of {$59.00}. Also On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email correspondence that my payment information had been received. However, Kohls system did not update my payment information and instead maintained the old bank account which had been closed. Therefore, my payment was reversed without my knowledge. Once I received the new statement showing that my payment had been reversed, and there was a late payment And a reporting of a late payment on my credit bureau reports. I immediately notified Kohls and spoke with web support who apologized for the error, and that it would be corrected on my credit report as it was a glitch in the system that did not complete the updated information. Web support investigated the issue and advised that they would ensure that my credit report late payment reporting would be removed and that has not been done even though I have Accessed the system again today updated my banking information again, and ensured that the new account information was accepted and finalized
