Consumer Complaint: I had Capital One XXXX XXXX credit card, which haS {$390.00} annual membership fee posted on my account on XX/XX/XXXX for coming year. I feel this fee is too high for me, want to cancel the credit card and get the annual membership fee refunded. I called Capital One customer service on XX/XX/XXXX, saying want to close the account, the customer service agent confirmed with me within 60 days of the posted on the account, if I close my account I will get the annual membership fee refunded, I have until XX/XX/XXXX to close and advise me to wait and think thru. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called their customer service again to close my account, while the call to close the account, another customer service agent also assured to me I will get my annual membership fee back ( since it is within 60 days limit time ), just took some time to post. On XX/XX/XXXX, I still not see the {$390.00} refund to my account although the account is already closed, I called customer service again, now the agent said refund is only if I close the account within 40 days after the amount is posted. They had no way to refund my annual membership fee {$390.00}. I called again to customer service without any solution was provided. I feel I was given the wrong information twice, now I am out of {$390.00} and closed the account which negative impact on my credit history too. Please help to solve this issue, Thanks a lot

Consumer Complaint: Capital One Quick Silver Credit Card I was never notified that my 0 % promotional interest period ended early ( supposed to be on XX/XX/XXXX ) and was charged the interest fee. I paid my account in full and requested that the charge be reversed since Capital one did not notify me of this change, and after going back and forth with the first representative, she hung up in my face, I tried recording the phone call and when I mentioned I was recording the call, they would stop speaking and say they would not continue unless the call was not recorded. Their site was down XXXX and XXXX, I tried calling them and no contact number worked. Including for XXXX XXXX car number. They charging late payment and and outrage interest rate in the 30 percent range. I would not have joined if I knew that the card is not XXXX. At the present there is still no way go contact them, other than online mail which I did. Now I am finding lots of consumer abuse and ignoring members. Please help. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Received a 1099 misc from capital one, I contacted capital one to clarify what the reported income was on XX/XX/2023 and was told they would look into it called back 10 days later and was told they needed more time. I have called again and the department which handles this still has not responded. I am unable to file my taxes because I didn't receive this income capital one is reporting I have received and I need the correct information before I can file my taxes.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I had reached out to Capital One Travel & Rewards customer service in confusion of a misleading and misinformation advertisement. I have used Capital One Travel & Rewards section on the sole purpose because it had promised me to that if I complete the transaction, I will earn " ( A whole dollar amount of cash '' Ex. XXXX Cash ). Since XX/XX/XXXX, I have been completing transactions because of this advertisement. On XX/XX/XXXX, I had contacted the customer service to figure out why I have not received any of what was promised on their website and after being transferred to multiple departments, I had finally spoken to a customer service representative who I had walked through the whole process of the transaction and he agreed to that this was correct, also provided him with screenshots of the transaction reflecting the cash rewards. The amount that was offered at the finalization of the transactions showed a whole number amount of cash being offered. ( Example is in screenshots provided ). The agent went on to complete his notes to say that I am entitled to having an amount per booking as rewards cash back to my card. ( Please refer to the screenshot picture provided that shows statement of bookings that I had completed ). After this, 3-4 weeks later in XX/XX/XXXX I was then called from capital one to tell me that there is no such thing that exists. When I had asked her if I could walk her through the process like I did with the agent before, she said she did not use the capital one service so she could not. After arguing with her back and forth, she had agreed to reach out to another department to escalate the matter and call me back to let me know she has done so. She did not call me back. On XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX : I received a call from the travel rewards department from Capital One regarding this issue. She had told me the following : - She apologized for the misinformation that I was provided ( The first agent who agreed that I had walked through the process ). -She had admitted that it was a error on their page and has been taken care of now. ( This was admit of having misinformation on the final rewards transaction page where it state I that I will " Earn [ Amount of cash ] Cash ''. and also admitting that it is not visible anymore which states an error on Capital One side. ) - When I explained my situation to her she agreed with me that the process of what I saw and how it had stated I will earn an amount of cash was definitely there and it was misleading. I had told her I would be seeking legal advice for misrepresentation and misleading of what I was offered during these bookings. It is important to note here that I would have not used my credit card for bookings if it was not for the sum of cash that I would earn because of it. Important note : The " Earn [ Amount of cash ] Cash '' section was being calculated as 5x the amount of the total transaction. ( This can be reflected by using the total amounts of each booking and multiplying that by 5 which would equal the [ amount of cash ] I am supposed to earn for that particular booking. )

Consumer Complaint: I opened a CapitalOne Credit Card ( XXXX XXXX ) with Promo of 0 % APR for 15 Months. but in actual I did not get the Advertised APR on XXXX XXXX website. I applied for the Card and got approved in XXXX and Promo was Active at the time ( Snapshot of the Agreement attached ). I tried to talk this through with Capital One Customer Service Agent " XXXX '' on XX/XX/2023 who confirmed the Promo was active at the time. then she transferred me to the Application Dept and said they can handle your request. Then I spoke with " XXXX '' the Agent same day and further with the Supervisor " XXXX '' both said that its not showing in your contract the Promo. I explained that its not my fault if its not showing in my contract but that's what I suppose to have as I applied due to that Promo. I am very much disappointed with that False and misleading Promo by Capitol One and got charged {$770.00} in interest charges over the last 10 months.

Consumer Complaint: I Sent a Good faith negotiable instrument into company which is a promissory note making Capital one Auto Finance a fiduciary collector for certified funds remit at par which follows all the laws of negotiable instruments which is my God given right to tender. Capital one auto finance is keeping my instrument and did not apply funds to principle for settlement and closure. I called and explained UCC subsection3-310 ( b ), 3-311, 3-603 and public policy at house joint resolution 192 of June 5, 1933. Instead I was fraudulently reported without due process. They also placed a cease and desist on my account without my knowledge. Again they kept my negotiable instrument worth millions of dollars which is my property if it will not be processed.
