Consumer Complaint: Ally Investment purc hased XXXX , an online investment company. I am unable to reach Ally Investment by phone regarding my account. I called the telephone number provided on the web-site ( XXXX ) multiple times during the day, and was on hold for hours. I also called Ally Bank general telephone line ( XXXX XXXX ) and spoke to a supervisor, who informed me that he was unable to reach the investment team, using the direct telephone number via the bank telephone system. In addition, I sent Ally Investment an e-mail ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), complaining that I am unable to reach their telephone customer service. They replied by instructing me to restart my browser. There is an urgent issue that can not be completed on line, and requires a telephone customer service assistant, but I am unable to reach this financial institution. This may cause me financial lose.

Consumer Complaint: Follow-up to CFPB Case Number XXXX - I received response from Ally Financial on XXXX XXXX , XXXX with respect to my prior lease an d Ally ' s assertion of excess tire wear. The response is completely inadequate to my complaint as they have not addressed that their tire tread requirements to a returned lease on a XXXX mile contract was, and remains, impossible to achieve on any lease. Ally is fully aware, or at least should be aware, that their tire requirements are false and misleading and is thus a hidden fee to their lease agreements and thus should be considered an illegal action under the Dodd Frank legi slation and the jurisdiction of the CFPB. The response received from Ally is a s imple " canned '' corporate response and fails to address the misrepresentation assert ed by Ally in their lease agreements. Finally, as someone who has leased vehicles for over XXXX years with XXXX per year mileage requirements this is indeed the first time I have ever been assessed excess wear on my vehicle. I can say categorically that the said vehicle was returned to Ally in immaculate condition and with tire tread well within legal safety requirements. As noted the Ally lease has both false and misleading requirements that were at the outset impossible to physically achieve, hence should be illegal u nder the CFPB 's mandate!

Consumer Complaint: Time : Early - Mid XXXX Problem : I Was Being Restricted From Withdrawing Funds Via ATM. Upon Request Why, The Bank Representative Said It Was Due To Change Of PIN. I Never Changed My PIN. Someone On The Inside Was Restricting Me From Withdrawing For Reasons Yet Unknown. This Was The Second Time. The First Time They Claim It Was Due To The ATM Card. The Card Was Still Fairly S till New. I Found It Odd Due To The Fact That I Was Able To Make Purchases With It Before The Issue. So I Closed My Ac counts. Someone On The Inside Was Selling My Info. I Ca n't Prove It, But My Gut Is Strong On This Feeling. Forensic Science Can Reveal The Veracity Behind My Claims. Fast Forward To XXXX . The Same Institution Has Purchased The Brokerage Firm I Have An Account With.

Consumer Complaint: I received a loan for {$17000.00} (? ) to buy a XXXX XXXX XXXX . The original price without tax was {$14000.00}. I put {$1500.00} down. Now I 've been paying Ally Financial s ince XXXX XXXX XXXX So that ' s 8 months o f payment at {$340.00} a month, which totals up to {$2800.00}. Why is it the I still owe {$16000.00}? I would like for you to contact Ally, and have them explain to your agency where the XXXX went to. Also, is n't 11.50 per c ent interest illegal? Please write or e-mail me back about this. Consumer Complaint: I went into XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX because XXXX XXXX , called my call phone and had told me that I had won a vacation from my last purchase. I was hesitate originally but I went in a few days later. I filled out the form for the " Vacation and booking ''. And then the next day I get a credit alert that I had applied for credit. I went back to XXXX XXXX . I then spoke with Owner XXXX XXXX and Co Owner ... XXXX XXXX . I was assured that this credit mark would be removed and that they would submit a dispute to you ; the credit bureau. Since XX/XX/XXXX I h ave not had any resolution with getting this unauthorized inquiry removed and deleted from my credit file. I have submitted this same kind of dispute to all XXXX credit bureaus and still no response. I have also attracted a letter signed and dated by XXXX XXXX that the credit pull on XX/XX/XXXX and in XX/XX/XXXX were both unauthorized and should not have been pulled on my credit just for a promotional vacation offer. Also somehow my credit filled was pulled and my score was lower again on XX/XX/XXXX . There was no explanation on how or why my credit was pulled this time either. I had n't even been into XXXX XXXX office since the last incident. I have attached a copy of the letters and also a re typed copy of the letter just in case it 's hard to read. I had to call the police because XXXX Attacked me tr ying to take the letter back after I threatened to sue him for ruining my credit report. I am asking that XXXX XXXX Inquiry be removed My my credit file. As for I did not give the company permission to pull my credit file. They also submitted my credit information to XXXX other company 's without authorization or consent. Consumer Complaint: Ally Bank closed my XXXX and XXXX account on XXXX XXXX against my wishes. They claimed my address was not a physical address and cited the PATRIOT ACT as the reason they had to close my account. But I have a physical address on file with Ally and always have. At best, this was caused by a mistake in their physical address database. They refuse to acknowledge their error or re-open my account. Although they eventually returned my funds, I suffered over {$200.00} in fees and penalties by having nearly {$8000.00} suddenly withdrawn from my account ( a day before I pay most of my bills ) and distilled to a check that was not returned to me for several weeks.

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I returned our leased XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX after making EVERYsingle motnthly payment on time for three full years. Two days after we left the car at the XXXX, Maine dealership, we were called and told that we owed Ally Financial {$190.00} to repair a 2 '' scratch on the rear panel of the car. We were surprised when they told us to leave the car on the side of the building because they were busy, and that no paperwork was needed to drop it off, so we actually took some pictures of the car before we left. When they called us, we disputed that there was a 'scratch ' on the car and told them we had photos to prove it. They said they had to repair the scratch and we owed them {$190.00}! We had two or three phone conversations with Ally and told them we wanted to see pictures of the scratch, pictures of the repair, and the repair bill proving that they actually did anything to the car. They said they had already removed the car from the lot and they did n't have anything to give us ; i.e, " just pay it. '' We told them we would not pay it until they showed us proof that what they were claiming was true. The phone calls stopped and we assumed they did the right thing and dropped their bogus sham. We learned a month ago that they reported it to the credit burea. How can they just report bogus information without even providing us proof that the charge was valid? Because they know it was not. This is abhorrently wrong ; there was no damage and we have photos to prove it. Let 's see them prove their case! Please have this ridiculously nasty attempt at extortion removed from our credit report. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I was in the process of purchasing a car for my daughter & I got pre approved by XXXX XXXX ... I contacted XXXX dealerships ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) & forwarded my pre approval with XXXX XXXX but they still ran my credit without my consent ... They knew I had a pre-approval & I wanted to go with XXXX XXXX ... I emailed them my pre-approval as well so they would know the condition of my car loan ... Now I have all these hard inquiries on my credit report which should not be there ... The only one that should appear would be XXXX XXXX XXXX & XXXX ( my credit union ) which I applied with before I got my pre approval with XXXX XXXX . XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX should have not ran my credit ... I have attached the emails between the two dealerships showing they knew I had a pre-approval through XXXX XXXX ... Please have them delete these HARD inquires of all three credit bureaus ... Greatly appreciate it ... Thank you ...
