Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment. I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me, or the payment was not applied as fast as expected. I checked my bank account and noticed that you deducted the money out of my checking account that on the month that you marked me late on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I was not credited for some payments made by ACH. One of the payments was credited then almost 2 weeks later reversed. I called numerous times to inquire and the customer service reps were unable to tell me what happened or why. So, in writing I requested an audit of the loan.I never received a response back, then they sued me for Breach of Contract. They also had a repo come and take my truck. I went the next day and got the truck back, because I am the Secured Party and have first lien rights to the truck. I am a Secured Party Creditor.This was XX/XX/2018. In XX/XX/2018 I submitted a Bonded Promissory Note for XXXX to discharge the full amount they said was due. Almost 1 full month later I received a letter from them that they do not accept Bonded Promissory Notes, but they did not send it back to me. If they don't accept them, they should have returned it within 72 hours according to REGULATION Z TRUTH IN LENDING ACT. Instead, they sent me a copy of it. So, I wrote them again, requesting the instrument back, un-endorsed, if they don't accept them, they need to send it back. They did not. I wrote them 2 more times requesting it back, no response. In the meantime, there is still an open court case, 2 years later. They are still reporting it on my credit report. I wrote to the attorney representing them, notified them that I had tendered payment 2 years ago and was never credited. They have never responded. Also, the Uniform Commercial Code / U.C.C. 3-603 states that when Tender of Payment is made and is refused THERE IS DISCHARGE. Even if they never credited it, they received it, admitted they received it, so I should have been credited for it. I just want this thing resolved. I don't think it's right for them to take me to court, do nothing, but keep the case open and keep reporting it on my credit. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I received a scam call trying to collect on a late car loan payment from ally fianc woman with heavy accent named XXXX ph # was XXXX XXXX XXXX backstory I bought out my leased car from XXXX right before the covid 19 shutdown set up automatic payments thru their preferred service provider payment were due to start XX/XX/20 but as of yet I have not received any mail with acct number from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX generation is also trying to help me solve this problem as of this afternoon I still was not in XXXX XXXX system and def not showing any missed payment also as per XXXX at XXXX XXXX there has been a scam similar to this that they are aware of and even if I was a month late I would get a call from them before any collection agency normala provided a acct number for a ally Finance acct and wanted me to send payment to them I told I would do no such thing and would deal with bank directly so no money was sent to them from me but I wanted to let u know about this shady company Ty for any help on this matter XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020 I sent {$240.00} to my mother through the XXXX app attached to my Ally bank account. In my end I am receiving a confirmation that the transfer was successfully sent. The money is out of my account and shows as a completed transfer. On the receivers end, my mother reached out to her bank XXXX XXXX that also has an embedded XXXX app. She never received the funds. She was told the transfer was NOT completed. She has not received the {$240.00} that was supposed to be transferred within minutes. It is now over 10 days later. It was supposed to be an instant transfer through XXXX within a few minutes. My bank Ally bank is saying the transfer completed. XXXX XXXX bank is saying the transfer cancelled and were returned to my bank. XXXX is saying that they are not responsible and that both of us should call our banks. Luckily this is a mother and daughter team. We have been able to call both Ally bank and XXXX XXXX banks together and hear both sides of the story. We have called XXXX several times and were offered no assistance. We are merely the customers. We do not have the ability to trace the funds and the banks and XXXX are not being forthcoming. The banks should be doing the legwork, not the customer. We have done everything in our powers and need assistance from another source. The companies refuse to resolve the problem or speak with eachother. I have had {$240.00} literally stolen from me by none other than the FDIC- insured bank that promised to protect my funds. My mother willfully loaned me money that I am left unable to repay until these funds are returned to my bank account. The XXXX transaction number involved is XXXX. I called back in XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and the problem is still not resolved. Companies involved. Ally bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I obtained an auto loan through Ally Financial in XXXX of 2017. My payments have been automatically applied every month ( XXXX ) from the same checking account. In XXXX, they announced a 2 month payment deferment due to COVID-19. Since I am unemployed due to the pandemic, I applied and was approved for the payment deferment. Since then, my automatic XXXX payment has been at " pending '' status. I have attempted to make a payment, since I was able to, several times. My checking account I have used for every payment has been " unavailable '' to make payments. I have attempted several times to reach Ally by phone, and get disconnected every time. They have now begun harassing collection calls to both me and my husband for payments that were supposed to be deferred ( 3+ per day ). My account online does not reflect that I have deferred payments, and states that my account is " past due '' at XXXX ( 2 months regular payments ).

Consumer Complaint: Ally Financial provided the financing for my wifes car. I am in no way involved as it was purchased before we were married. During the pandemic, Ally has forgiven payments for two months, essentially added two months at the end of the loan term. Automatic payments made by my wife have been refused during the pandemic. However this has not prevented Ally calling multiple times a day about the debt. They call both of us but as someone not in debt to Ally I feel any contacting me is harassment. I have twice called the company and explained just that. Each time they agreed to remove me from the call list but have failed to do so. Over Memorial Day weekend I have received 12 calls from a company I dont owe money. Any help with this matter would be appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: A vehicle loan with All Bank was paid off TWO and HALF months ago and it's still on all 3 Credit bureaus! I've called Ally and emailed them. I found out because I was denied credit on another loan because of incorrect debt. The Credit Bureaus/Banks NEED TO BE REINED IN on correct AND TIMELY credit data! XXXX took NO RESPONSIBILITY although they have a " dispute '' resolution system. They state, at best, THIRTY DAYS to correct errors!?? DO I GET 30 days?? NEW LAW ( S ) /REGULATIONS NEEDED : 1.Credit Bureaus ARE NOT to tell citizen WE have to make Lender correct errors THEY REPORT! They report as 'gospel ' what Lenders send them! ONCE citizens report PROBLEM, The Big Three >>>MUST<<< CORRECT It! 2. BUREAUS/BANKS FINED and portion goes to CITIZENS for such as above! WHY should WE have to do all this battle when we're WRONGED?? NO ONE should have to HIRE a LAWYER to fight issues as above. BIG FINES ( Equal to initial loan amount misreported goes to Citizen!!!! ) would negate court delays and GET ATTENTION of bureaus and banks that make Billion $ AT CITIZENS ' EXPENSE! 3.DO IT ASAP! Every day I am SURE similar is happening to everyday people who have to fight this on top of trying to live their own lives.
