Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2019, I helped the girlfriend ( XXXX XXXX ) of my stepson, buy a car using MY CREDIT, she was co-signer to get her name on loan, financed through Ally Financial. All was proceeding as planned until XX/XX/2019, talking with my banker, he asked why my credit score had dropped. I looked into this, found out that Ally Financial was attempting to repo the car for non payment. Ally Financial had all my credit info, home address, phone #, email, but nobody ever tried to contact me for payment or anything. After I found this out, I personally paid the past due amount to get the loan current. Ally Financial ruined my Credit, dropped from XXXX to low XXXX because of this. After arguing with Ally Financial, they said they were only allowed by law to remove 1 month negative from my credit. My score is still only at XXXX with XXXX, I am in need of loan, because of this Pandemic and Ally Fin won't do anything to help me get my score back up. I think it's outrageous that someone can ruin your credit without their Collections Dept doing they're job and reaching out to me when payment was late the 1st month or anytime after that. Ally Fin collections said they tried to reach me, last 4 digits of phone was XXXX, should have been RED FLAG, bogus number.. Last 4 digits of my phone is XXXX Vehicle was wrecked, totaled and loan has been paid off in XXXX. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: I called Ally Bank, they instructed me on how to wire money to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2020. I paid for an exact payoff quote from XXXX XXXX for XX/XX/2020 and sent that amount via wire at Ally Bank. I watched my bank account all day. I called in the evening and was told it would be sent by the close of business today. It was not sent. I called in the morning still not sent. I called XX/XX/2020 to inform them that the amount of the wire is insufficient to cover the cost of the loan payoff, they told me if I change the amount they would have to delay the wire another day or two.It has been 25 hours since I scheduled this wire and the money has not been sent.

My gap insurance didnt pay out for this because of the false information that was filed by the cop who wrote the report. I was using this car for personal use only. I was driving from one job to the next and told the police officer this. They billed me for the remaining balance and I do not owe this. This cop wrote false information.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Ally Bank regarding a 90-day extension request attached herein. I have previously disputed the late payments reported by ALLY Bank and feel like they are retaliating for my complaints. The value to debt ratio is inverted and the title is prejudiced due to fraud on the part of the selling agency. I have been told by the XXXX XXXX that they can not take the car in on trade, even though XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX authorized the vehicle for resale after replacing defective parts. XXXX is now calling the vehicle a lemon and telling me I am just stuck with the auto. I owe {$13000.00} the value is @ {$9000.00}, which is well below value due to the lemon identifier. Further, the XXXX reports prevent the vehicle from being sold. When the vehicle was sold to us, we were provided a fake XXXX Report indicating the airbag recall was the only issue with the car. That is not the case. I took the vehicle to XXXX XXXX in XXXX Georgia who performed all warranty work and on three separate occasions the sales managers contacted me to buy the vehicle due to its condition and maintenance record. When I finally became interested in trading for a new vehicle, it was sprung on me that the vehicle could not be accepted by the dealership. This responsibility falls upon XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. During the interim, Ally Bank should honor the 90-day extension request.

My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me, or the payment was not applied as fast as expected. I checked my bank account and noticed that you deducted the money out of my checking account that on the month that you marked me late on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: We had a XXXX XXXX totaled in 2019, where the loan was carried with Ally Financial. It has taken us nearly a year to track down The gap payment between XXXX and Ally. We stayed in communication with Ally the entire time. We were warned about possible late payment credit reporting and then reassured beginning of XXXX That would not happen since we were communicating with them. The day after, we received negative alerts on our credit. This was XX/XX/XXXX. I have spoken with Ally no less than 10 times where I have been told the negative credit reports would be reversed. It is XX/XX/XXXX. Im on my Fifth phone call with them in 13 hours and going on 6 hrs of call time today. I have been transferred between representatives multiple times, but never had resolution. This practice has caused me financial loss through work hours, as well as the inability to get funding on a new vehicle because of the incorrect negative reporting.

During this COVID-19 i been diligently reviewing my credit and I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below from XX/XX/2020 for 30 days lates. I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. Consumer Complaint: My accounts were hacked and my bank accounts emptied I had to put a freeze on my account to try to recover the money and during that time had no access to funds. I sent a letter to all parties involved letting them know that my bank was frozen between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX making payments late due to fraudulent activity. They have not yet changed my credit information to reflect the fraud and are still reporting me late causing my credit score to go down. I cant get them to fix the problem its as if theyre not understanding what happened

I have been a customer with them since XXXX I have always made my car loan payments on time but I went threw a financial hardship in XXXX when I lost my job and I was unable to make my payments on time, Although I wasn't able to make it on time, I still made sure to make my payments ... I also have a few late payments in early XXXX, I lost my job again but decided to drive for XXXX till I find a better paying job.. At the time that was my only source of income trying to maintain all my bills and my XXXX XXXX XXXX financials. I am currently now working with XXXX receiving much better income enough to pay all of my bills ... There is no reason for me to be late anymore ... As of XX/XX/XXXX all of my payments have been on time. I purchased my vehicle for {$20000.00} ... Although I went threw a financial hardship. I am almost done paying my car off.. I only owe {$9000.00} I am really trying my best to do right by continuing my payments on time to maintain a great credit score ... All my credit cards and other accounts are paid on time. I just had problems with my car payments and am asking for a second chance to remove these late payments because they are hurting me mentally and financially.
