Consumer Complaint: Below is a transcript of my most recent and what is now 4th complaint to XXXX XXXX. These complaints are met with abandonment and rhetoric meant to keep me in a never ending loop of never reaching a solution. Dispute Details : Beginning in XX/XX/2016 I began a series of outreach attempts to XXXX via email and phone call. At the time, I had relocated and so did not receive a paper version of my bill. This was of course around the time that my loans exited forbearance and entered repayment. Despite this, I attempted to login into the account via the website to submit payments. I was locked out due to failed login attempts ( I forgot my password ). This is when I began to reach out to XXXX per the reset password service instructions. My emails went responded to and my phone call often ended before I could speak with a representative due to 1 hour+ wait times. I eventually did connect with someone and had my account reset. At that time, I brought the account current due to retro dated forbearance granted by XXXX. Ever since, my account has been in good standing. I was assured, ON TWO OCCASIONS, that due to the nature of XXXX not responding that these late payments would cease to be reported to the consumer agencies. That unfortunately has not become the case. I have spoken with 5-6 representatives over the past year regarding the situation. I have been told to submit credit disputes such as this one ( this being the 3rd ). I have been told that theres nothing anyone can do and that I dont meet the requirements of a customer service escalation. I have been ignored and put into the same loops of action over and over without any substance of a conclusion coming to fruition. To put it candidly, I have been told that I am a liar and that even though I tried to pay when the account was due but was unable to do so because no one from the company would respond to me during that time. Today I spoke with one XXXX ID # XXXX. His outtake on the situation and his demeanor is representative of that of the experience with XXXX over this past year and a half. When I asked what I was supposed to do in order to get the issue resolved since I feel XXXX was negligent in allowing me opportunity to pay and that your own representatives had instructed and assured me that the payment statuses would be updated, XXXX had the pleasure of telling me and I quote It doesnt matter what anyone said. We are not going to change our position. Any subsequent dispute you submit will be deemed repetitive and frivolous. You do not meet the requirement for escalation. That is capitalism. We can do what we want. Up until today, I thought surely this company cant be mindlessly doing whatever they want and whole heartedly discrediting and ignoring customer complaints. XXXX and most of the rest of the XXXX team have proven the exact opposite of those thoughts to be true and rampant throughout the company. These late payments and XXXX negligence has put immeasurable strain and damage to my credit worthiness. Thus, it has caused untold amounts of direct monetary implication.

Consumer Complaint: I have been making on time payments under the Income Driven payment plan since XXXX XXXX. I have submitted employment certification forms from each of the " qualifying '' employers, the most recent being sent XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted my loan servicer ( XXXX XXXX ) requesting a detailed list / number of qualifying payments. Currently they have me credited with making 35 " Qualifying Payments Made ''. There were a couple of periods when my account went into hold/forbarance when new IDR payment was being disputed/calculated. However, in general in my records I have made at least 10+ payments per year since XX/XX/XXXX. That is a considerable amount more than 35. Not sure if this is due to my loans being transferred from previous servicer to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I graduate college. I moved to another address. Never got any kind of mail/email about a payment due. Months later XXXX missing payments showed up on my credit report from student loans. I had no way of knowing what and when was due. I later got the loans forbearance because of low income. These missing payments should not be on my credit report because I was not informed.

Consumer Complaint: I attended college and within a few years was working for the XXXX of MN. After several years of government employment it was made aware by the State that student loans could qualify for PSLF. I applied and was surprised to learn i really only had two option for repayment under this plan.. each option would increase my payment by 300 %?? I have been working for the XXXX for 10 years and repaying with standard repayment. I requested on several occasions a " credit '' of some sort for the past 10 years of public service from XXXX XXXX. The response was no credit and i needed to change my payment ot income based thus increasing my payment again by 300 % and not paying the loan off any sooner ... feeling scammed by a " public service '' for my public service ...

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I'm not entirely sure who I should contact with this issue so I'll start with CFPB. My husband is a XXXX XXXX VA XXXX veteran and was able to get all of his student loans forgiven. I met him right after I finished college and have moved all over the country due to his military orders. It has been extremely difficult for me to find jobs each place we move thus making it impossible for me to cut down on my own student loan. I know he deserved to have his loan forgiven because of his service to the country but I feel as a spouse there should be some type of assistance with my student loans. I've had to sacrifice quite a bit and also my time as his care giver. I've also had to take exams to recertify my credentials to each state we have moved which further extended my chances of finding a job in a timely manner. If you aren't able to help, can you please forward this letter to a government office that might be able to? Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Currently I'm with XXXX XXXX XXXX for Student Debt Relief Program. From my understanding the school I was attending XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they closed down during the time I was starting my XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I was to start on XX/XX/2015. Wouldn't I be eligible for Closed School Discharge? I wanted to enroll in another school after they closed and my credits didn't transfer. Honestly I feel I was defrauded into the debt. False job placement and online certificate class. They closed down and I wasn't able to finish my educational program.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I am writing to complain about the way my student loan debt has been handled. In or about 2010 I had about {$100000.00} of student loan debt because of finishing XXXX XXXX or I obtain my XXXX XXXX. I moved out of the country and because of my financial situation let y student loans lapSe for a short period of time and during this time whoever was in charge of these loans double the amount that I owed from XXXX to XXXX roughly these figures are not exactly precise but in the right neighborhood. So I contacted the lenders the federal financial loan people XXXX XXXX and asked repeatedly for them to investigate why this happened. There was never any satisfactory answer as to why this happened or a resolution of the problem. Each year even though I have since handled my loan situation by signing onto the new income-based repayment plan there has still been about {$10000.00} added and it each year because of interest even though Im not required to pay until I find a job. I have repeatedly requested from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that they investigate this and reduce the figure that I owe them to what it really should be and either receive no response or a response that says we can do nothing about about the unfairness of adding so much extra money to my balance when in reality it really ought to be down around {$100000.00} figure which is where I borrowed in the first place to graduate from college
