Consumer Complaint: Fedloan is one company and if you miss one payment, they'll report each and every semester youve received a loan for seperately ... so one payment missed will equal to approximately twelve late payments reflected on your credit report ... which it's literally Credit Report extortion. Extortion by the Federal Government is the worse..then if you try to consolidate to make it one loan to avoid the games. It's literally double the amount owed once you incorporate the interest. XXXX ... .just sad practices .with no light at he end of the tunnel.

Consumer Complaint: I have been on the income based repayment plan since 2010. I have re-certified on time when information was requested. Recently you are able to log into the student aid portal. There was an issue with the IRS site and it allowed me to complete the re-certification. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email stating that my request was incomplete so I sent my income tax return to them. This is not the first time that I have had trouble with AES removing me from my IBR and I want them to verify the start date of my plan, and if the terms are 20 or 20 years. How many years that I have remaining. They have sent my information to a collection agency, which I want this information removed, and any negative credit reporting corrected.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was already discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer owed
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, in the Federal Bankruptcy Court of the state of Minnesota, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX officially ruled any and all debt theough AES to be disallowed. AES and any other Lenders, or Debt collectors that are connected to AES were informed by Attorney XXXX XXXX to file paperwork proving that said debt was in fact owned by the lenders that AES was servicing. AES was given 90 days to provide documentation as well as show up and appeal. They did neither. Because of their actions 5 orders of disallowing further claim of debt were filed and signed. AES claims that private students loans can not be discharged solely through Bankruptcy, but have to go through adversary proceedings and be proven to cause extreme financial hardship. In this case proceedings wefe had amd evidence was shown. These debts are no longer valid according to the Federal Bankruptcy Court. AES has refused to communicate with attorneys and provide any documentation that would prove otherwise. My name was signed fraudulently to these loans and AES refuses to assist in filling any sort of fraud documentation. They say they need a police report, but the police will not file a case against an entity that no longer exists. They can investigate a company that no longer exists. AES is allowing for these fraudulently accounts to remain open and active, and refuses to close them, even though the original lender closed their doors XXXX XXXX AES was attempting to collect the debt then as well stating that the company was still open and until XXXX contacted them, they would continue to collect money, even though they were never paying XXXX. AES only changed the lender in XX/XX/2020 from XXXX to XXXX. I am not responsible for any of this debt and I want it removed from my name.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: Although the reporting is current and positive, the issue is that I never gave anyone permission to furnish or report anything to a credit bureau or consumer reporting agency. Since reporting to credit bureaus and other consumer reporting agencies by creditors is voluntary and based on 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) any consumer reporting the agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 1 ) In response to the order of a court having jurisdiction to issue such an order, or a subpoena issued in connection with proceedings before a Federal grand jury. ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I have never given any credit bureau or consumer reporting agency my written permission to report to them. I sent out letters back in XXXX to XXXX XXXX and XXXX requesting that they delete the accounts in their system as well as phone calls to all of the agencies since I did not authorize their reporting services. As of today, I have not received a response nor have the account been removed as requested.
