Consumer Complaint: RE : Discrepancy in Credit Report Listings XXXX ( Account # XXXX ) I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a discrepancy in the reporting of my credit account ( # XXXX ) across the three major credit bureaus - TransUnion, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX My recent review of my credit reports revealed inconsistent information regarding the open date of this account. TransUnion 's report shows an open date of XX/XX/2020, while XXXX reports the open date as XX/XX/2020 and XXXX is reporting XX/XX/2020 also .This inconsistency is concerning and, as per my understanding, violates the principles of accuracy and completeness as mandated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) Under 15 USC 1681 ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting The Congress makes the following findings : ( 1 ) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit reporting. Inaccurate credit reports directly impair the efficiency of the banking system, and unfair credit reporting methods undermine the public confidence which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system. I have previously disputed this information, but the discrepancy was reported as validated and the inaccuracy remains on my credit reports. This is not only misleading but potentially damaging to my credit standing. The FCRA stipulates that all information on credit reports must be accurate and complete, and up-to-date. The current reporting fails to meet these standards. Therefore, I request an immediate deletion of the account. The importance of precise and consistent credit reporting can not be overstated, as it directly impacts my creditworthiness and financial reputation. Please find attached copies of the credit reports from XXXX, TransUnion and XXXX, highlighting the discrepancy for your reference. I trust that you will address this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I expect a prompt response to this letter, confirming the commencement of the investigation and the actions being taken to rectify this discrepancy. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX am reaching out to express the violations I have faced at the hands of the credit reporting agencies. " Pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 USC 1681 Section 602 ( a ), it is imperative that consumer reporting agencies, including XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion, uphold their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. As a consumer, I assert my right to ensure the non-disclosure of my private information, supported by 15 USC 6801, which underscores the Congressional policy that financial institutions, including furnishers of information to credit agencies, must continuously respect customer privacy. In alignment with 15 USC 1681 Section 604 ( a ) ( 2 ), consumer reporting agencies may furnish a consumer report only with the explicit, written instructions of the concerned consumer. I declare that XXXX, XXXX, TransUnion, and the furnisher of information to credit agencies do not possess my consent to provide this information, and I explicitly revoke any form of consent, whether verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise. Referring to 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), financial institutions can not disclose nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties without informing the consumer of their right to exercise nondisclosure. However, the furnishers of information to credit agencies failed to apprise me of this right. Moreover, 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) stipulates that no consumer reporting agency may include adverse information in a consumer report without authorization. The reporting of adverse information without my permission violates the law. Financial institutions such XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX fall under this definition. According to 15 USC 1681 section 604a ( 2 ), consumer reporting agencies may furnish a consumer report only in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer. In this case, neither Transunion, XXXX, nor XXXX has my consent, be it verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise, to furnish this information. In accordance with 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) ( A ), it is prohibited to furnish inaccurate information to a consumer reporting agency. XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion are in violation of this provision. Additionally, 15 U.S. Code 1681e mandates consumer reporting agencies to maintain reasonable procedures to avoid violations of FCRA sections and limit the furnishing of consumer reports to specified purposes. The lack of reasonable procedures by XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion is evident. Lastly, as outlined in 12 CFR 1016.7, I assert my right to opt out of the reporting services of XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion at any time. Therefore, I am officially opting out of the reporting services provided by these three consumer reporting agencies. '' Please see my attached credit reports for the violations.
