Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of predatory lending with Santander and my loan is part of the lawsuit with Santander and their unfair lending practices. As a result, my car was repossessed, due to the multi state law suit I qualified for a deficiency waiver of the balance after my car has been sold at auction. However there is still a balance showing on my credit report. Santander has been ordered by the courts to issue the deficiency waiver for the remaining balance and completely remove the derogatory account showing on all three major credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: I had called this company when I noticed that my loan balance never changed and also that my credit report each month was reporting my payments. They stated they where reporting my information to the credit reporting agency each month. So I called them and I also pulled my report from each agency and it was not showing no update. I had to file a dispute to get my credit report updated. Now my report is back to how it was again where they have not reported payments and my balances and not changing since I last had made a dispute. I called them and they said they would look into it and get back with me. They never got back with me. I pay them every month on time and I should not have to ask them to report my updated balance and payments monthly. They should do this without being told to do so.

Consumer Complaint: I was SANTANDER CONSUMER USA customer since 2016 and during that time, I have enjoyed my experience greatly. I am writing to see if you would be willing to make a " goodwill '' adjustment to your reporting to the three credit agencies. I have late payments on the above referenced account. Since that time I was an exceptional customer paying every month on time. Because of my exceptional payment history over the last years, I would like you to consider removing the negative payment from my credit report. At the time of the late payments, I was in the process of changing jobs. I say that not to justify why the payments were late, but rather to show that the late payments are not a good indicator of my actual credit worthiness.
