Consumer Complaint: Between the months of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I disputed the validity of a debt and account ( using my information without consent ) with an attorneys office on behalf of XXXX XXXX. The case XXXX was closed and the attorneys office responded the will cease collecting attempts. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX and I get a notification from XXXX credit bureau and from XXXX XXXX. The alerts notified me that a new account was added which was from XXXX XXXX My dispute this time is their blatant disregard of the conclusion of the cfpb case listed above XXXX. Ive spoke To the credit bureaus and they said that I was to receive a notification before the account and negative information was added to my credit report. This is a blatant violation of not only the FDCPA in regards to continuing to attempt to collect as well as the FCRA for furnishings negative information without written notification.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2017 I received correspondence from Resurgent Capital Services requesting validation of an alleged debt. It is now three months later and I have yet to receive the information that are within my rights through the FDCPA to verify same. Considering I responded to their correspondence, the information this company has concerning my address is correct ; considering I responded to this correspondence, I am clearly not avoiding them, so then what's the problem? They continue to ignore my requests for validation but continue to report same to the credit bureaus and they continue to deny my rights under the FDCPA to handle this issue appropriately.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have never had an account with XXXX XXXX They have reported a collections account # XXXX to all three credit bureaus since XX/XX/2016 for a amount of XXXX. I have submitted letters to three bureaus asking them to ask XXXX to validate, meaning send me paper with my signature on it and they have yet to send anything and its still reporting negatively on all three reports. THEY HAVE NOT SENT ME OR THE BUREAUS ANYTHING but a statement saying its mine with NO SIGNATURE. I have disputed twice this year. Every time I dispute XXXX results In more and more phone calls from their " Legal team '' which I am not to sure is a real legal team. They have threatened to sue me every time. Just this past month I contacted both the bureaus and XXXX XXXX trying to get this collection agency to send me proof that they have even have a license to collect in the state of Ohio because I've researched on that the secretary of state page and even spoke with a representative and they verified that they can't find a license to collect. When I called XXXX XXXX asking the same question they transferred me to their legal time. When speaking with the legal team they wanted me to make a payment before they went any further. THIS DEBT IS NOT MINE. XXXX XXXX DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE.

I also never received a debt validation request letter from XXXX XXXX ( c/o Resurgent Capital ) and am disputing the validity of this debt. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX claims I owe XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX {$1800.00} from XX/XX/XXXX. I have NEVER had such account. I sent papers asking them to verify. They did not. They filed a civil case against me ( XXXX ) XX/XX/XXXX. I again answered that asking for verification. They sent only my name and address back. Had a bench trial XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX - XXXX county court house - Judge XXXX - Judge asked lawyer ( Atty XXXX ) for XXXX XXXX XXXX to verify. They could NOT. CASE WAS DISMISSED. I have, on numerous times, contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX - C/O Resurgent capital services - XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX, SC XXXX - ( XXXX ) XXXX, asking them to REMOVE the collection from my credit report.
