Consumer Complaint: My employer received a writ of garnishment on me for a credit card through XXXX XXXX. I did have a credit card in XXXX and possibly still owe the debt. However, the judgment is through XXXX , XXXX through an attorneys office. The judgment date on the court document says XXXX, XXXX but the order was signed XX/XX/XXXX. The card was last used in XXXX. However, the XXXX company could not provide me with any information other than it was a XXXX account. I offered to pay a settlement and they countered with a settlement I am not willing to pay. I was not notified in person, phone, or mail of this debt, only from my employer who received the writ in the mail. The statue of limitations should have expired in Arkansas. Also, the company has been unable to provide me with any information regarding my account with XXXX other than that I owe a debt.

Consumer Complaint: I have submitted several debt validation and verification requests to Resurgent Capital Services over the past year. The most recent communication I have received from them was on XX/XX/XXXX that stated that they believe my request for debt validation was " submitted on a form supplied to you by a credit repair organization. '' And that they refuse to investigate it because it is " frivolous and irrelevant. '' On XX/XX/XXXX, the above stated company received a certified letter from me that was typed with my name printed in blue ink pen. As it has been 30 days since they have received my request and have yet to respond I would like to file a complaint.

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing a account on my credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2018 i sent a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX certified mail disputing this account as not mine. I asked for validation of this account to include the original contract with my signature and identification and address. i never received a response from XXXX XXXX XXXX within 30 days. They are still reporting the account to my credit report as accurate which is a violation Under the FDCPA, you have the right to debt validation. This means a consumer can demand that a creditor reporting information to the credit bureaus prove the account is really your responsibility and that the balances are accurate. Once your letter is received, the collection agency must stop all collection activity, including reporting and verifying, until they supply proper validation of the debt. If the collection agency failed to validate the debt and has sent a notice of the debt to a consumer reporting agency, the notice of the debt must be removed. If not, send a notice of the failure of the validation to each consumer reporting agency that lists the debt. Unless the credit reporting agency can validate the debt, it should be removed from your credit report. I want this account removed from my credit report for failure to to properly send validation of this debt.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter ( XX/XX/XXXX ) from a collection agency on a credit card judgement filed through the Second Judicial District Court of Utah on XX/XX/XXXX, Case no. The information on the collection agency is as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX being represented by XXXX XXXX XXXX, ( A # XXXX ), XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX or ( XXXX ) XXXX, XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX onXX/XX/XXXX and left a voicemail message demanding that they cease and desist their collection efforts on this debt because it was discharged in the above referenced bankruptcy and the statute of limitations had well since passed ; and that any attempted to collect on a debt under these conditions is illegal.

Consumer Complaint: Ive filed a complaint before : # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX continues to harass me and my family by sending me notices of debt collections. This company has sued me and has tried to garnish my paychecks from my employer. Theyve had attorney offices call me and tell me I owe them money. Theyve recently sent me a letter and have increased a debt I do not owe. Its ridiculous!!!! I had to file with you the CFPB just to stop them from garnishing my pay. I believe my previous case file was even sent to the Federal Trade Commision. Ive notarized countless documents to this company and they still continue to harass

Consumer Complaint: I have sent dispute letters multiple times via certified mail to have this item deleted from all credit reporting agencies. I am being sent information that is not validation that the debt is indeed mine according to the law. A statement of charges and/ or a balance on a letter head is not sufficient documentation of validation.
