Consumer Complaint: Per XXXX XXXX and the records.. The XXXX account did bot contain any of my personal information except the Social Security number was off by one digit which allowed my social security number to be on the account. XXXX has corrected the Social Security number on the account and the account should be removed from my credit within 30 days. But the collection agency is refusing to deleted from my credit even thout I provided a letter from XXXX XXXX stating that this is not my account. XXXX XXXX keep reporting it the XXXX and all of the credit bureaus. I tried to explained to them that this is not my account they confirmed that they have the letter I submitted to them on XX/XX/2018 from XXXX clearing my name and social security but, they are mean and rude and won't deleted from my credit. I'm in the process of buying a house and this is affecting me big time. XXXX XXXX XXXX last reported it to my credit on XX/XX/2018 after knowing that is not my account.

Consumer Complaint: The company XXXX CONTINUES to report on my credit bureau stating I owe a debt that I am not aware of. I have sent them numerous letters stating that I need to has this verified in order to determine that these alleged debts are owe by me. They sent me an account summary which shows nothing about me opening these accounts. I asked them to send me the consumer contract with my signature on it so I can see if that is my signature. They have failed to do so and from my understanding under the FCRA a 3rd party collection agency should have that information and they have failed to provide me with the info and continue to place this alleged debt on my profile which is hindering me from utilizing my credit. They stated that these accounts were made online, without my signature how could someone just open an account with my authorization online and they hold me accountable and they cant verify that it is mine.

Consumer Complaint: I was lead to check my credit report during the time I started to work towards purchasing a home. I found that XXXX XXXX XXXX was reporting for an unpaid debt and sold to a third party collection company. The original creditor refused to even speak with me in regards to this account and referred me to the the third party agency, XXXX XXXX. After contacting the collection agency, I found that this account was established by my mother ( who is now deceased ). Ive sent proof that I was not responsible for this account, during the investigation, I requested information pertaining to this debt to no avail. Since the investigation, Ive decided to settle on this debt due to the hinderance in the process of purchasing a home, however, Ive since disputed both creditors and have yet to receive any supporting documentation pertaining to this debt.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I have been sent multiple letters stating that I have an alleged debt from the Resurgent Capital services company. I have mailed a response to each letter stating that the debt is not mine nor have I ever had an account with the supposed company that Resurgent capital services is trying to collect for. I have never received any form of proof that the debt is mine nor have they provided the original documents proving that the debt is mine. I have mail more than 6 responses back to letters from them in the last several months and I want the company to leave me alone. I have told them to leave me cease and desist but the company keeps re sending letters stating that if I don't respond within 30 days they will have the right to reopen the debt collection. I wish for this company to stop all further communications with me and stop trying to collect on a debt that isn't mine.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2016, I had 2 credit cards opened up fraudulently in my name by my step father, he maxed out the cards within a day of receiving them and never made not 1 payment. One of them I was able to contact the bank and get it removed from my credit report, but the one with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX has been honestly crazy. I have called them numerous times and they still will not remove it although they did an investigation on their end and found it to be fraudelent. They have now sent it to collections and now I have a derogatory mark on my credit and I am not able to get approved for anything, I'm only XXXX now and it's hard to be XXXX over right out of the gate with Credit and i feel as though I will never prosper in life with this on my credit history for a credit card I never applied for nor asked for.
