Consumer Complaint: this debt is listed as closed on my XXXX report but not XXXX and XXXX, further more the open date on this account is XX/XX/XXXX not XX/XX/XXXX. the original creditor violated the contract terms and took more more than was authorized on this account and then refused to credit it on the account as a double payment and then tried to show me as noncompliant and delinquent which is not only unethical but highly illegal, several attempts were made to resolve this matter but to no avail, and this is the third company in as little as 5 years to try to collect this debt. XXXX is violating federal law and the fair credit act in changing date and the amount is way off by XXXX dollars this debt is over 8 years old and is no longer valid

Consumer Complaint: As far back as XX/XX/2018, and around XX/XX/2018 and sometime after, I spoke to an " XXXX '' and " XXXX '' from XXXX XXXX who told me if I paid the {$940.00} debt in full I would receive ( 1 ) a paid in full letter and ( 2 ) the two derogatory accounts would be deleted from my credit report. ( see attachment ) of both XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX are is still reporting to the credit bureaus. This debit has been paid and I was expecting it to be removed from my credit report. I have been unable to rent an apartment and I have been turned down for several jobs.

Resurgent Capital Services Acct # -- -- -- -- -- -- XXXX Original Creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Owner XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Servicer Resurgent Capital Ref ID XXXX Judgement case # XXXX I am STILL having garnishments taken out of my check! Myself and Kroger Payroll, XXXX XXXX have made MANY attempts to get a Release of Judgement sent to XXXX Payroll to Stop this garnishment! XXXX XXXX, XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has given us the runaround and now we are being told she no longer works there and we cant receive help from Anyone! Consumer Complaint: I have disputed with Resurgent about the inaccurate entry that is reflecting on my credit report ( see attached documentation ). In my initial review and finding of this reflected entry, I submitted a dispute to Resurgent. on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 via certified mail. Within my dispute ( see attached ), I specifically requested that they provide an agreement with signature of alleged debtor wherin he/she agreed to pay the creditor, date this alleged debt became payable, original delinquency date, verification that the debt was assigned or sold to collector as well as a complete accounting of alleged debt. Resurgent did not oblige. Resurgent letter, ( see attached ), dated XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 does not provide any substantial evidence to support the veracity in their reporting.Since Resurgent is unable to provide supporting documentation for this inaccurate, unverifiable entry, it must be deleted from my file immediately.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX HAS A CARD IN MY NAME THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE! Original address traced back to Ohio. I do not live there and have not lived there in over 5+ years. I have tried working this out with the credit card company. It was put into collections before I found out about it. The collection company XXXX XXXX XXXX claims they have sent me multiple letters which they never did. They threatened me with a sheriff by serving me papers but I was not home. I have been in contact with the Collection Agency ( lawyers office ). Collections Agency ( lawyer ) said I had to appear in court if you were accepting the papers. I AM NOT ACCEPTING PAPERS FOR SOMETHING I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR.

Consumer Complaint: Originally, XXXX XXXX placed a collections account on my credit report in the amount of {$780.00} that I have no recollection of and that I believe is not mine. I have a current credit card with capital XXXX and it is in good standing. I asked XXXX XXXX to validate the debt and just as it reached its 60 day mark to validate, XXXX XXXX sold the debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX and now they own the debt and placed it back on my credit report. I have sent numerous letters asking them to validate the debt and have received no response. I have also sent letter to the credit bureaus and they report that XXXX XXXX have electronically validated the debt but they can not send that information to me. I believe this is not mine and I have a right as a consumer for any debts placed on my credit report to be validated with documentation that is not a bill. This type of reporting is illegal and violates my rights!
