Consumer Complaint: Portfolio Recovery left Voicemails on family members cellphone for me voicemail clearly states that the phone they left message on doesnt belong to me and belongs to my sister as her name is on voicemail. I work in collections where I work we are not allowed to leave voicemails for borrowers if their full names are not on the voicemail because we do not know who has access to the phone. When we leave voicemails we also only leave general messages requesting a call back.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021 for two different account Debt Validation letter was sent by me using certified USPS mail with a return request to Portfolio RecoveryAsscociates, LLC the completed request was never sent back to me, things such as * Agreement that bears the signature of the alleged debtor wherein I agreed to pay the creditor. * Complete line-by-line accounting of alleged debt. Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC claims the unvalidated credit debt amounts for two separate accounts are {$6900.00} and {$600.00} ( as it illegally shows on my credit reports ). Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC told my lawyer and me by letter that they believe they sent enough information. Also upon research on https : XXXX, it does NOT show that Portfolio Recovery Associates XXXX is Licensed to collect in Texas, yet they still ignored my attorney and I request to stop collection efforts along with never sending my completed debt validation request they still added it to credit reports which are damaging my reports illegally and wrongfully. I contacted my attorney and my attorney called me and informed me that " Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC '' is violating Federal Law and that I should submit a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. I have given Portfolio Recovery Associates almost a year now to make this right by removing these negative things from my report and life but they have yet to remove these negative reports from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I recently purchased my credit report as I am trying to prepare to purchase a home and notice this company reporting a supposed collection account from XXXX XXXX. I have never entered an agreement with Portfolio Recovery and do not owe them anything. I demand that they cease and desist communicating with me and provide proof that this alleged debt is valid. I demand to see the agreement between XXXX XXXX and portfolio giving them authority to collect this supposed debt. I also want a contract with my wet signature confirming I have a legal obligation to pay Portfolio. They can also include the contract with my wet signature showing an obligation to XXXX XXXX. I am entitled to know if they were any insurance claims made by the alleged creditor about this account and if there are any judgements regarding it. If so I demand to see sufficient proof of service. On top of this, XXXX is reporting all different information to the bureaus. I assure you my disputes were not resolved because I did not validate this alleged debt. XXXX XXXX allegedly charged this debt off and I have not received a 1099-C for their write off!
