Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/2022 I identified discrepancy with account listed under Portfolio Recovery and validation was requested as this was an account that I did not recognize. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/2022 and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate this account as correctly belonging to me, nor has my credit report been updated to reflect that the account is disputed and therefore a XXXX validation letter was sent out on this day. After reviewing credit report again on XX/XX/2022 there have been no updates and account is still reflecting on the report. I do not believe the account belongs to me nor do I believe that the creditor has authorization to access the account nor authorization to attempt to collect on the account and the account continues to negatively affect me. Please strike and remove this account from all 3 credit bureaus until adequate validation has been received proving that the account belongs to me, and all information is correct.

Consumer Complaint: I requested Portfolio recovery XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX to stop communicating with me. They continue to call me and send me written communications. Portfolio Recovery services is not licensed to collect debts in New York state. Further more per New York State law the statute of limitations of debt collection in New York is three years. Per information reported by Portfolio to XXXX and other credit reporting agencies the alleged debt was opened XXXX and is over XXXX XXXX XXXX therefore can not be collected per New York State law. I requested account be removed via XXXX XXXX complaint and Portfolio Recovery services is still illegally reporting and actively trying to collect a collection account on my credit and contacting after I have requested not to be contacted.

Consumer Complaint: Portfolio Recovery has been erroneously reporting on my credit file. With the help of credit bureaus providing previous and current reports that Portfolio Recovery has changed information on my credit file and has incomplete information. They have continuously ignored my disputes about an alleged debt and have not provided any valid information, but will only comment that I disagree. I have obtained my phone records and have noticed that Portfolio Recovery is calling my phone every quite often, some days multiple times a day and hanging up. That is considered harassment. All information stated above is clearly a violation to my rights as a consumer advised by the FDCPA.

Consumer Complaint: Portfolio recovery calls almost daily. I've counted up to XXXX times in aXX/XX/XXXXday period. They use a robo dialer so the number is constantly and ever changing so there's no way to effectively block it. They've called as late as XXXX in the XX/XX/XXXX and as early as XXXX in the XX/XX/XXXX I have documentation of this. They even called XXXXXX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and then again at XXXX the nextXX/XX/XXXX. I'm tired of the harassment. They call on the weekends as well.
