Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing a debt repeatedly for years and now I have a sheriffshow up on my doorstep to serve me papers? This has gone on long enough. This is not my debt, never has been. I do not know where this came from. I have disputed this over 5 times with credit karma and got the same response back. Nothing is looked into, its just confirmed. This seems to be commonplace with Portfolio considering the reviews and complaints I have read. I am a XXXX percent XXXX veteran, I do not work and my benefits are my only sourceof income. Again, this is not my debt and this is just adding more stress into my life with the threat of having benefits deducted for a debt that is not even mine.

Consumer Complaint: The reply from PRA is a lie, I did not submit the attachment and if PRA did an investigation, then per the address on the attachment from their client it clearly shows that's not my address. If PRA continues to claim to have sent documentation to me on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 please provide confirmation of the address it was sent to with verifiable mailing confirmation date with the dates above. Just because PRA claims to have sent out notifications to an address I don't live at for an account that I do not have a signed contract with PRA for the debt amount indicated in PRA 's response, does not confirm the authenticity of said debt nor authorize PRA to continue to make false claims that I owe PRA the debt indicated. I do not owe PRA the debt and I am requesting for this to be removed from all 3 credit reporting agencies immediately. I UNDERSTAND THE COMPANYS RESPO

And reported collections which letters stated this is not a attempt to collect a debt, corroborated with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and sent me bill 's and letters which I never seen before and opened accounts in my name. Without any contracts. I disputed everything and it's reported collections, and now new letters stating they are collecting a debt that they don't or are not entitled to. Unfair practices.
