Consumer Complaint: PayPal credit said my automatic payment of {$38.00} was returned by my bank. However, there was plenty of money in my account before, during, and after the time of the transaction. There was no attempt to collect the money from my checking account. My bank did not return any transactions. PayPal charged a late fee. Several attempts were made to contact PayPal and my calls were repeatedly disconnected. Although I was refunded the late fee they still have not responded to my request for a formal investigation. I want to know what happened. This is an error on their part. I have never had a late payment. They keep disconnecting my calls.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a paypal account for over 4 years now and all of a sudden they quit letting me withdraw by check. Now they want me to add a bank account to paypal before I can withdraw my funds. That is totally ridiculous as I never had a bank account. I sell a couple of things a month on ebay and use that to pay some small bills. Now today I even tried to close my account and send check by mail which they told me they can do. But each time I go online to close it it asks me to add a bank account out of the blue ... My last check withdrawal was last month and now they say I cant? I believe what they are doing is illegal. They have had me verify my address, phone number, SSN and all and they act like they dont know me any more. This is very frustrating. I will upload the chat but please forgive my language.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, venmo canceled three of the money transfer to my bank, {$700.00}, {$800.00}, {$1300.00}, which is {$2800.00} in total, and have it returned to my venmo wallet balance. Then I received multiple emails saying that the {$2800.00} in my venmo balance was returned to the senders for no reason. And they frozen my account. I lost a total of {$2800.00}. They offer no reason for reversing the money that was sent to me. When the sender contact them for a reason the payment was returned they said the receiver account is not active. If my account is not active how did I receive the money, how did I make a transfer to my bank. This is ridiculous. They just take away {$2800.00} from me for no reason.
