Consumer Complaint: We are a victim of Ocwen mortgage and their fraudulent activities, such as adding misc fees and misdocumentation of our payments. They refused us a modification after 4 months of sending us letters stating " loan modification is available to you, '' then simply sending a letter stating through various successors and mergers our loans current investors wo n't allow a modification. We obtained and paid what we thought was a reputable attorney who was able to get a modification for us, they would not reveal the terms until after we made the trial payments. The terms were for us to sign we now owe {$200000.00} ( the original mortgage was for {$190000.00} in 2006 which we have paid over {$150000.00} of over the last 9 years XXXX and after paying for another 22 years they want us to pay a balloon payment of {$110000.00}! The attorney 's office originally told us not to sign until they clarified the numbers since it sounded " a bit off '', really? After nothing was done about this severe miscalculation the attorney 's office sent us an email on XXXX XXXX stating we need to sign and overnight the documents by XXXX XXXX to the opposing council ( attorney 's for Ocwen ), to which we replied ( are you kidding?!! ) we will not give up but we really do not know where to turn anymore!

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen loan servicing is the servicer of my loan. 1. They refuse to talk to about anything. 2. They refuse to send me any papers. 3. They will not send me my statements4. They will not send payment statement. 5. They will not return any letters or phone calls. 6. They refuse to let me know what owed on loan. 7. They refuse to let me know if they received my payments. 8. They refuse to let me know what my payments are. 9. They but forced insurance on this property when I have insurance on the property. They refused to take it off after 3 months of sending them proof and calling them over XXXX times. 10. They double charged me for insurance. 11. The only thing that they will say when I call, is that they were told not to talk or send anything to me due to I filed litigation against them. XXXX. I have over XXXX documented calls to Ocwen and copy 's of letters sent to prove this. I believe they are doing this because I filing a lawsuit and complaints against them in an unrelated mortgage that they are servicing for XXXX XXXX XXXX. ( Case, XXXX in XXXX County ). This has noting to do with this loan which is owned by you, XXXX. There is no reason for there conduct in the servicing of this loan. I have no complaints or lawsuits against you. I have not missed any mortgage payments. Its not in foreclosure. I want to make payments on time and have been making payments for the last 4 months not knowing what my payments are, and if they were even credited ect. I believe they are going to to try to foreclose on this loan even though I have proof of all of this, just like they illegally did on the loan with XXXX. This is the loan I filed the lawsuit on. This letter will be sent along with complaints to other agency 's including the press. The nation is in a foreclosure crisis and the courts are full of foreclosure cases. There is no excuse for this conduct by Ocwens loan servicing. They may cause this loan to go in foreclosure for no reason what so ever.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, we submitted a complaint to you ( case # XXXX ) about a wrongly reported open mortgage balance on our credit reports. That mortgage had actually been paid off in XXXX XXXX. Ocwen - the company that had reported the above on our credit reports - acknowledged their mistake and confirmed in writing that they would make the correction ( their confirmation # XXXX ). Until today, six months later, all three credit reporting bureaus still report that we were in serious delinquency in XXXX as a result of this. In addition, Owen 's telephone number provided in their letter ( XXXX ) is a marketing scam, set up to make any follow up as difficult as possible, intentionally in our opinion. Our request is for Owen to ensure that the credit reporting bureaus no longer report a serious delinquency on our reports due to their mistake. As a result of this we are unable to refinance our current mortgage at a lower rate with an estimated impact of $ XXXX over the next five years.
