XXXX time we are told it has been written off, then yes it can be modified, then it has been written off, a {$60000.00} loan is now {$90.00}. They say it has been given to a XXXX party for collection, but ca n't give us the name of the company se we can contact them, they only ask how much money can I afford to pay it off, but I never have enough and it keeps going up. They will not accept payments, the interest rate is almost 13 %, they modified my XXXX mortgage but wo n't the XXXX and keep threatening foreclosure, I want to make payments on it, I want to keep my home, but I get a different story every time. The last denial was because the HAMP only modify 's XXXX mortgage, which is not true, HAMP will modify XXXX mortgages, but they did not research this. XXXX XXXX has been helping me through out all of this, she has made several appointments with the account rep ( since no one else can give us any information ) to no avail. Consumer Complaint: I have requested that Ocwen ( Mortgage Company ) stop calling me at my Job. I gave them my cell and home phone number but they continue to call my job. I work at a help desk with XXXX other individuals and all have answered the phone and knows who they are. My boss has answered the phone in the past and also asked them not to call the work number again. Every morning I still get two ( 2 ) phone calls. I do not mind them calling mine or my wife 's cell or my home phone but they really need to stop calling my job. Is there anything that can be done to stop them from calling my work place?

Consumer Complaint: MISHANDELED PAPER WORKOur mortgage servicer is Ocwen. Ocwen has ruined our credit by submitting negative reports to the credit bureau. We were on a trial period with lower payments prior to finalizing a modification. During the trial period we met all of the requirements. We signed the modification agreement in XX/XX/XXXX and have been current thereafter, somehow Ocwen reported to the credit bureau we were XXXX days late. This negative impact has a ripple down impact, much of our cards have been cancelled or reduced due to the erroneous information. We have contacted Ocwen several times only to hear it 's been escalated and we are waiting for the Treasury Department to make the corrections. We were also advised to write letters which they ( OCWEN ) have to answer. Some representatives have called in a threatening manner stating we need payment now or your house will go into foreclosure, and we always say we are on a modification plan and we are current, your records are n't correct. We are frustrated with the level of service received and are n't sure what federal programs monitor the servicing companies for FHA loans

Consumer Complaint: I have a loan with OCWEN XXXX, and I want to file a complaint against them because they are continually charging me fees for late payments I had last year. I was late on my payments up until XXXX of 2014 and they charged {$15.00} to drive by the house as well as certified mail charges. I got paid up in XXXX and have not been late since, however periodically I am getting more certified charges added to my bill and I do not believe that it is correct, I have kept all paperwork from them, which they are justifying their charges but I do not believe are correct. I want this to stop, and ca n't get anything done with them

OCWEN has since has refused to file a reconveyance deed showing the loan has been paid off in full. I have talked with them, telling them the law states they have 60 days to do so. They said they did not have to because they had sent a letter to me stating that the loan was paid off. Because this loan still shows active, it is causing me a problem on future refinancing. Consumer Complaint: Yesterday, I called my mortgage company, Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC . that as of XXXX XXXX, 2015, I owed them $ XXXX and that I did not need to pay my mortgage for XXXX 2015. As of XXXX 2015, I received a notice from their company stating that I owed XXXX to cure the default by XXXX XXXX, 2015. First and foremost, I was not aware I was in default. I have never agreed to a forbearance or loan modification with Ocwen Loan Servicing. I sent a certified money order totaling {$800.00} on or about XXXX XXXX, 2015 ; and on XXXX XXXX, 2015 I wired {$1900.00} via XXXX to Ocwen. According to my records and calculation from the notice sent XX/XX/XXXX, I had satisfied the requirement to cure deficiency. I was told twice by customer service that I did not owe a XXXX payment however my balance is {$1300.00} for the month of XXXX 2015. I informed the customer service whose agent number is XXXX that this incorrect. XXXX XXXX, Ocwen 's agent, informed me that the balance included late fees and my escrow analysis ( which they have been tampering with by Ocwen ). As of XXXX XXXX, 2015. I do not owe Ocwen any fees or mortgage note. Ocwen is a " predator. '' They are preying on minorities, XXXX, and the poor. They are not in the business to " keep people in homes '' this a fraudulent statement ; they are in the business of adding as many fees to your loan in order to put the customer in default. They are/have destroyed dreams of being a homeowner, people are homeless because of their business ethics to benefit the CEO of this corporation. They are liars and you have the power to " REVOKE '' their ability to do business in this country. The loan modification process with this organization is DECEPTIVE and whomever designed the model for this company should be ASHAMED and ordered to go JAIL!!! Sincerely yours XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: As part of our mortgage modification we sought the ability to pay our taxes and insurance independent of our mortgage in order to better manage our monthly expenditures. We communicated our desire to pay our own property tax and home insurance and not to have them escrowed to the relationship manager at the mortgage company people during the modification and trial payment process. Each time we were told that it could be arranged. This was important because it enabled us ( as we told the mortgage servicing company ) to better manage our monthly finances. During the modification process at no time did they state that this could not be done. We are now being told by the Mortgage Servicing Company that they can not allow us to pay our own property tax or home insurance ; and that it must be escrowed.

Consumer Complaint: Our loan was sold to Ocwen Mortgage Serving and ever since everything is a mess. They send someone out to our home monthly to verify that we are living in it and charge us between 50 and 300 dollars each time. I have called numerous times to see what this is all about to just be given the run around. I have become XXXX month behind on our payment due to a family tragedy and have made sure we fall no further behind. Yet they continue to harrass us constantly and have their people who verify that we live in our home make threats to us. It is unnerving. We have tried to work with them to modify out loan yet they refuse to do so. At first it was because we were not behind so we did not qualify now it is because we are behind. Our mortgage is set up with a balloon payment at the end of the loan and we were trying to modify the loan to get rid of this payment. As our previous home loan servicer would not offer us any other option for a modify other than to add a balloon payment on the end of the loan. We have asked for a principal reduction and were told they will not do that. We are at a standstill with this situation. We heard there was a settlement made between Ocwen and the government and when I asked Ocwen about it they cut me off.
