Consumer Complaint: Have been working with a housing counselor for a modification since XXXX of 2015 to get a modification through OCWEN. Although all the paperwork was submitted, OCWEN always came back with new things that needed to be submitted. I have given them everything they have been asking for. The final submission was in XXXX of 2015, I was told that I didnt qualify for HAMP but yes for an internal program, just send in the non borrower consent form & rental receipts which I did. I did n't hear anything. I went to make a payment and was told that my loan was sold to another company and OCWEN no longer was in control of the situation? I never got any documentation on this, I am still getting statements from OCWEN, I have no idea who has my loan now and my payment I sent has not been cashed. I was told just send in those last few docs and I would be approved I did and now this? I do n't know what to do at this point. This has been going on now for over 7 months, I just want my loan modified.

Consumer Complaint: I have had repeated issues with my loan servicing company/escrow account. They have, on multiple occasions, paid, duplicate or incorrect amounts and even after requesting a XXXX speaking representative, I get people who do n't understand me when I work for resolution. They wanted {$500.00} to cancel my escrow and I refused to pay it. After fighting with them for over a year, they finally cancelled my escrow account. Now they are claiming to have paid my taxes, after the closure, and want me to reimburse them. I paid my taxes. My local tax authority refunded OCWEN ; and believes they may have incorrectly applied the funds to another account. Every time they send one of these demand letters, I request an audit. They do an audit and request more money for something else. Only ever giving me their printout of what they claim they did/did n't receive, did/did n't pay. I believe that when I become exhausted and write them a check, it encourages them to do it again. Now, they are demanding my tax receipt. I 'm looking for it ... had it for income taxes and have misplaced it when re-filing them. They also did n't send me any statement for taxes paid when they sent my interest statment. Anyway, I asked them for their receipt, they just send me a printout of their accounting. I can make a printout on the computer the same as them. I have gone through grief for several years between my tax persons prosecution for embezzlement and OCWEN 's incompetent servicing of my mortgage. I need to know how to compel them to get an objective third party to go through my mortgage history and do a legitmate audit. I do n't trust them.

Consumer Complaint: I made extra principal payments on my mortgage and my loan servicer did not apply them to principal and just pocketed the money. My loan was in the bi-weekly payment program since XXXX of XXXX. In reviewing the payment history I received from Ocwen Loan Servicing, it was determined that the XXXX XXXX, XXXX and the XXXX XXXX, XXXX payments were not applied totally to principal per the terms of the bi-weekly payment program. In researching my loans payment history, it was also determined that the XXXX XXXX, XXXX payment was not applied totally to principal per the terms of the bi-weekly payment program. In addition, when the loan was assumed by OCWEN, an additional {$1300.00} was added to the principal balance. This amount was equal to the bi-weekly payment amount, and OCWEN has never explained why they increased the loan balance by the amount of the bi-weekly payment. I calculate that Ocwen owes me {$3600.00} based on the calculation belowXXXX : payment of : XXXX applied to principal : XXXX applied to escrow : XXXX balance due : XXXX payment added toprincipal balance : XXXX : payment of : XXXX applied to principal : XXXX applied to escrow : XXXX balance due : XXXX : payment of : XXXX applied to principal : XXXX applied to escrow : XXXX balance due : XXXXPrincipal reduction after properly applying paymentsto principal balance XXXXOcwen indicated that the final loan balance at the time of payoff was {$340000.00}. This does not match a standard loan amortization schedule with all the additional principal payments properly applied which indicates a final loan balance of {$340000.00}. Which results in a difference of {$3600.00}, which confirms the above. All additional principal payments made can be documented through either loan or bank statements.

Consumer Complaint: Well in XXXX I purchased a loan from Homcomings Bank all was well never had one issue. Then in XXXX my loan was sold with out my knowledge to Gmac and thats where all the problems began. Payments were n't either applied to my account or were applied only to my escrow etc. I would call and complain and they would see they would handle it. Then these extra charges began to show up on my account and I would call and exspect the problem to be resolved but it never would. Then in XXXX my account once again was sold to a nonbank mortage company OCWEN. And the problems have just gotten worse number one every single time you call there is a person who doesnt speak XXXX and has no idea to what the heck is going on. So then we began talking by email. Then they requested we sent them are orginal documents. Number one should they already have all that? " Correct '' After that about month letter they sent us documents with there logo and some print out of the account payments from begining to end. How still owe XXXX on a {$15000.00} loan. XXXX Here the funny thing in XXXX my account was paid down to XXXX and all I have paid in XXXX is XXXX when I have made {$260.00} to {$300.00} a month payments. The documents they have sent saying I had a ballon account from the get go. The documents they sent do not match my documents. Its almost like they have cut my signuture out Pasted it to there papers. And trust me that can very easy be done. I saw other complaints against this company and they are all basically the same as i am Experiencing now. Someone needs to do something this is just crazy ... ... .PLEASE DO SOMETHING as well they have returned all my payments from XXXX on of this year and they took payment in XXXX, XXXX and then in XXXX they returned all the payments in XXXX weeks of cashing them. Consumer Complaint: my loan started out with Indy Mac 15 years ago. I missed a payment or two due to a layout. I was turned over to Ocwen and it has been a nightmare. Ocwen lies, misleads, does not document huge pay off, did not call to advise the payment was received. Sent a letter that had nothing to do with me or my money. The phone reps are not knowledgeable.Just a nightmare. I contunue to pay their required amount but Ocwen shows me 90 days late on payments. Ruining my credit, causing all my insurance rates to go up. Ocwen is a bunch of crooks, making money off honest people. I will surely lose my house if I have to continue to deal with Ocwen

Consumer Complaint: My loan started out at {$70000.00} with Indy Mac. It is now up to {$80000.00} with another 30 years added. Another company, XXXX, supposedly was to begin to handle my loan. That did not work, I was charged because the company, XXXX, never existed. I keep making payments that are more than Ocwen is charging per month. I want out. I want to sue. A payment of over {$3000.00} was made but disappeared. A letter was sent that had nothing to do with me. Where do I sign up to sue. I have documentation.

Consumer Complaint: - My year to date escrow balance on my mortgage statements dated XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX show a different balance than I have made so far for the year. This is alarming because Ocwen can not account for the additional balance reflecting in my ytd escrow account. -I am forced every time to purchase a tracking number when mailing in my monthly payment because Ocwen will hold my payment and apply it or misapply it to my account whenever they feel like it, and try to get you to pay a late fee and inspection fee. Ocwen continues to fail to provide adequate servicing to my account and it has caused far too many concerns with the accuracy of the information on my account. -Ocwen keeps changing my contractual payment back and forth due to their negligence with the servicing of my payments and escrow account balance. I have brought my concerns to Ocwen 's attention over and over only to receive the run around. I do not trust the employees in Ocwen 's Ombudsman office or escalation department because they are corrupt and not transparent with their response. -Ocwen keeps sending me a manual calculated escrow analysis after I asked them to stop because the amounts stated under the escrow cushion and potential escrow shortage section of the analysis does not add up to the total amount Ocwen claims I owe for a shortage. Ocwen refuse to send me a computer generated escrow analysis report. -I have made an ongoing effort to voice my concerns to Ocwen regarding the processing of my loan modification offer. During my modification process I had to fight to get the discrepancies with the wrong income amount, wrong principal balance, and property value updated and corrected. However, I have been going in circles with them from XXXX to current about the inflated XXXX BPO report used to determine if my loan modification offer was eligible for a principal forgiveness. I requested to have an independent BPO or appraisal done, but Ocwen will not accept a XXXX party report. I provided them with several different online BPO reports showing the difference in my home value, but they refuse to use the full report. Ultimately I had to deny the modification offer because of the large balloon payment attached. - Upon withdrawing my modification application I requested that Ocwen reverse all my payments that were applied as forbearance payments and apply them as contractual payments. From XXXX to current Ocwen has performed several escrow analysis on my mortgage, and they keep coming up with different escrow shortages that do not add up, and it is affecting my fixed monthly contractual payments. -My current loan modification agreement from XX/XX/XXXX disclosed that it is a XXXX agreement. I asked Ocwen to confirm if this is accurate information so I could try and get assistance through XXXX with my modification, but they will not provide me with any documentation from the note holder that supports what type of agreement I have. -I received an incomplete payment history that is missing documentation of my payments made when Ocwen began servicing my loan in XXXX, and the history is full of XXXX payments that makes it hard to read and get a correct understanding of how my payments were applied. -I have statements dated from XXXX that are missing from the statement section of my online account. I asked for this to be researched and corrected, but to date Ocwen has provided me with no response. -Ocwens Ombudsman and escalation/research department is full of representatives that are unprofessional people who provide a whole bunch of untimely run around answers.

Consumer Complaint: There is an account with OCWEN reporting on my credit report, account number XXXX, that is not and never was my account. I am in the process of refinancing my current mortgage with XXXX and I am unable to move forward because of this issue with OCWEN. My credit report says it is a charge-off account that I still owe {$25000.00}. Every time I call OCWEN, they tell me the account number that is on my credit report for them is in fact NOT my account, and that this is for a property in OHIO for someone else. They are unable to tell me who, since this is not my account which I understand. However, I have asked multiple times for them to confirm this by sending me a letter verifying that this is not mine. The first time they told me they were unable to do this. After multiple complaints they told me a couple weeks ago they would send something to me in the mail. I never have received anything. Furthermore, I submitted something to XXXX to call OCWEN and verify. They called and OCWEN said it is to stay on the account. Then when I call they said its not mine?? I want this resolved asap and I need to get this loan refinanced and this is holding me up.

Consumer Complaint: OCWEN MORTGAGE. Ocwen sent escrow shortage notice XXXX/XXXX/15 reporting XXXX {$960.00} amount. I paid this amount in full and payment was credited to my account as Escrow Payment on XXXX/XXXX/15. Received statement dated XXXX/XXXX/15 for XXXX/XXXX/15 payment and Escrow amount was listed as {$370.00}. On XXXX/XXXX/15 Ocwen processed a payment which included an escrow payment in the amount of XXXX {$960.00}, the full payment including this escrow amount was deducted from my checking account. The amount deducted was in excess of @ {$580.00}. Fortunately I had the money to " float '' Ocwen 's accounting mistake. If I did not have the extra funds in my account I may have been charged excessive bank fees, erroneous credit reporting, and ridiculous amount of time and effort for the inept activity of Ocwen. Currently Ocwen is reporting on statement dated XXXX/XXXX/15 I again owe XXXX {$960.00} for escrow. I contacted Ocwen XXXX/XXXX/15 and spoke with Escalated call rep XXXX who is researching my complaint and reports my information is correct regarding the error in the escrow amount and once review is completed I should expect a refund check within 5-7 days ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
