Consumer Complaint: This mortgage company is the Absolute WORST company that I have ever dealth with!!! I have been going back & forth with them for 3 months regarding my Hazard Insurance on my account. I have had Hazard Ins on my account from Day one XXXX. I have supplied this information to OCWEN every year and it was NEVER an issue. OCWEN changed the requirement and I was NEVER informed. They stated that they sent a letter to me XX/XX/XXXX.I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED that until One week ago when it was emailed to me from the Executive team that I placed a complaint to. Please note that I spoke to a OCWEN representative XX/XX/XXXX and they advised that the letter was sent to another address ( NOT my address ) & they then changed my address in the account. I was Advised XX/XX/XXXX that I am now required to have Hazard Ins on " my indwelling '' of my property. I purchased the additional Ins XX/XX/XXXX when I was advised of the change and provided the Ins proof to OCWEN.This complaint is simply that OCWEN placed Hazard Ins for my Indwelling on my account and Escrowed it into my Mortgage XX/XX/XXXX and I was NOT advised or informed of this. I purchased the Ins when I was advised and WILL NOT pay for something XX/XX/XXXX When they did NOT inform me of it. XXXX managers from OCWEN advised that they were going to look into this matter and get the Placed Insurance credited and I have not had ANY resolution to this issue. I have Names & Dates of the XXXX times that I spoken to this customer to get this issue resolved and it is still Not resolved. PLEASE HELP!!!

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing violated the XXXX XXXX XXXX laws of privacy, contacted my insurance company without my permission, paid off my homeowners insurance which was already paid n full and WAS NOT a requirement of my escrow ( real estate taxes only ) this created a double payment of my insurance, and created a deficit in my escrow. When my insurance company sent me a rebate, I contacted Ocwen, they told me to sign my insurance rebate back to them, they then illegally took this check and applied it to my principle, once again without my permission. They have so XXXX up this account in the 90 days that I have had my account with them, that I no longer have confidence in Ocwen 's competence in handling my money. I have also done research and found that this is a common illegal practice that Ocwen is doing to customers in an attempt to undernmine the consumer. This is a direct violation of the UDAAP laws designed to protect consumers. I demand that Ocwen stop acting illegally and without my consent to conduct my business. I have contacted an attorney and am ready to file a lawsuit for these outrageous and nefarious mishandling of my finances. I demand the account be returned to the original payment of {$1600.00} ( principle, interest & RE taxes ONLY ) I also demand that they pay a fine as outlined under LB and UDAAP directly to my principle, and pay me for 4 hours of my time ( $ XXXX ) IF THIS CAN NOT BE REMEDIED IMMEDIATELY I WILL SUE. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO DEAL WITH THE UTTER INCOMPETENCE OF OCWEN.

Consumer Complaint: My VA home loan was refinanced through XXXX XXXX XXXX ( OCWEN/XXXX ) and closed through them in XXXX XXXX, of 2013. Promising a lower monthly payment, with the majority of the monthly payment being applied to the principal on the loan amount versus the interest. Since refinancing in XXXX of 2013, OCWEN has reported a delinquency on the account since XXXX XXXX of 2013, even though the loan was actively being paid with no late or missed payments. The loan was in OCWEN 's responsibility since XXXX XXXX, 2013. They are reporting my loan as delinquent since XXXX XXXX of 2013 when it was still being handled by XXXX XXXX XXXX. How is this possible? I am now receiving reports of an " approved '' foreclosure process on my property, that is actively being paid. OCWEN is now reporting I am in debt to them upwards of {$47000.00} and has since transferred the loan to XXXX XXXX. They have not only mishandled my payments, they have damaged my credibility as a borrower until this issue can be resolved. I have trusted OCWEN to handle my mortgage appropriately, only to be told that I 've been not paying a loan ( which has been actively paid ), been hassled about imminent foreclosure, and given the run around on any information I try to seek from them. OCWEN will be responsible for bringing my mortgage account to a current paid status, with no faults on my part.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to modify my loan via HAMP with Ocwen since last year and they kept giving me the run around to finally tell me that they will not process my modification after they sent me a letter stating that they would do so. I have spent countless time on the phone explaining this to different relationship managers. Every time I spoke to someone I would get a different answer or different instructions on what to do next. They sent me payment vouchers which was incorrect during the trial period which they addmitted to doing. They asked that I send in the shortage and 1 additional months payment ( for a total of 4 months under the HAMP ) and then they would process my final modification. After I did everything they asked me to do and met the requirements they still would not process the final modification. I have tried my best and I am tired of fighting with them. No one seems ever have a clue as to whats going on when you contact them for help or assistance. I have a secure letter that was sent to me by Owcen that states for me to make they payment difference and they would process my final HAMP which I will attach to this complaint. I will also be attaching the letter i recently recieved from Ocwen stating that they denied me for non payment which is incorrect, they did recieve my money per the letter dated XXXX/XXXX/2015. I called in and was once told by a relationship manager to reapply for the HAMP to get it processed but they denied it and sent me a Shared Appreciation Modification which I was uncomfortable with signing and sending back because the value of the home seemed to be inflated per their apprasial and there were some other things I was n't comfortable with. Again I told them i was n't comfortable with that and did not want it. I get a letter in the mail saying we denied you for the Shared Appreciation Modification because you failed to make the payments of which I never singed and returned the package to them agreeing to any of it. I have tried to explain to the best of my ability and will attach some supporting documentation to explain my complaint.

Consumer Complaint: The main issue aside from payments being applied late and incurring late charges is that I have sent OCWEN Loan Servicing LLC copies of my homeowner 's insurance policy, as had my insurance company, as has been the case in the past 13 years since having this mortgage and yet they claim they do not have proof of insurance and now have added XXXX insurance. Secondly, I have no evidence of who even owns the mortgage since it has been sold several times with no transfer documentation being furnished to me.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, Ocwen Mortgage increased my monthly mortgage payment from {$2100.00} a month to {$2400.00} month, an increased difference of {$330.00}. I contacted OCWEN customer service and they claim that the increased was for a data analysis of my account, which was not performed in XXXX non-payment of approximately XXXX from escrow account ( homeowner insurance and county property taxes ). Although I have had Ocwen as my mortgage company since the beginning of XXXX and they had made payments to the insurance company and county through the escrow account since XXXX and I have incorporated the escrow in my mortgage payments and have paid my mortgage on time to Ocwen since XXXX. Ocwen claim that my escrow account was in the negative and the increase was required to pay the balance of the escrow of {$3400.00}. This recent increase in escrow payment does not appear to be legitimate and shows that fraud is occurring within Ocwen. The explanation by the Ocwen representative did not make any sense, since payments are suppose to be paid each year to the insurance company and county and has been paid my mortgage holders, since I purchased my house in XXXX of XXXX. I have never heard of any mortgage company increasing an escrow account by this much and let alone indicating that my account was in the negative, when payments are being made to pay for the escrow accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX issues with Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC that I am in need of assistance. Ocwen purchased my mortgage from XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On my XX/XX/XXXX tax statement from XXXX XXXX they have clearly waved any fees that I had acquired during the 18 years they had my loan. However, Ocwen is claiming that I owe them for these fees, amount of {$860.00}. They also have charged me an additional {$1000.00} in fees in less than a year. As of the XX/XX/XXXX statement Ocwen is charging me a total of {$1800.00} in fees. I have sent three letters to Ocwen questioning these fees, with no response. I have phoned their customer service department 4 to 5 times and received no assistance, or they suggest I send a letter to the same address that all my letters have been sent. Ocwen has been sued by nearly every state they do business, including Illinois for their unethical business practices, including exurbanite or unlawful fees. I have been late on some payments and expect some late fees, but over a thousand in a matter of months, seem very wrong. My second issue with Ocwen is XX/XX/XXXX I had some financial difficulty and had fallen behind on my payments. XX/XX/XXXX I applied to Ocwen for a loan modification. This modification was denied. No reason was given. I called the customer service department and was told to email a request for explanation as to why my modification was denied. Two emails were sent and as with all other communications with Ocwen, this request went unanswered. I have since gotten back up to date on my loan payments and have not been late for any payments XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX a received a letter from Ocwen dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that I could appeal my modification denial, but have 30 days in which to do so. How could I appeal in 30 days when the letter was sent to me 45 days after the date on the letter?
