Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC took over our mortgage, and life has been a nightmare ever since. Every few months, Ocwen raises our monthly fee. We do the best we can, working as many hours as we can, to pay the ever-increasing mortgage rate. One month, our bank ( XXXX -- another corrupt institution ) bounced our online payment after re-organizing payments, which XXXX does all the time, and which makes it impossible to know how much money you have. Since then, we have been a couple of weeks behind on Ocwen, considering that our mortgage is now more than {$1000.00} higher than it was a couple of years ago. In good faith, we have struggled to pay this rate, doing the best we can to stay current, despite having NO money left over to feed our kids sometimes, put gas in the car, or pay the electric bill ( all of that good stuff ). Despite repeated mailings and faxes to Ocwen, their Research Dept just doubles down, arguing that the rate is correct ( and then raises it more!! ). Either this is an evil conspiracy to steal the homes of hardworking Americans, or Ocwen is so inept that one department can not communicate with another. We expect it 's a bit of both. DO NOT do business with Ocwen ; we want to run away from Ocwen, but Ocwen has RUINED our credit and made our lives impossible. We have written to the Ocwen CEOs ; we will go public to the highest levels, if necessary, to expose these shady business practices.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXXTo Whom It May ConcernRe : Loan # XXXX Suppression/Removal from XXXX Credit ReportI am hereby submitting this complaint concerning Ocwen 's suppression and removal of my loan status from the XXXX Credit Report. This loan was transferred from Litton to Ocwen who now has the Fiduciary duty in reporting the loan status to all Credit Report Reporting Agencies. This two-plus ( 2+ ) year old issue remains un-resolved to -date after numerous communicative attempts through 'Customer Relationship Managers ', Accounts Representatives and Managers etc to have this resolved, ( see attached email transcript " Fwd : Fwd : XXXX Confirmation on Ocwen Loan XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' ). The earlier XXXX Report snippet of XX/XX/XXXX clearly confirmed the presence of the loan account status on the report with Ocwen as the servicer prior to its suppression ( see attached " XXXX_Confirmation_of_Suppression_by_Ocwen.pdf '' ). In the attached " XXXX_Confirmation of Account Removal_ Suppression.pdf '', the XXXX Investigative Report of XX/XX/XXXX clearly shows that Loan # XXXX was deleted. The Full TransUnion Report of XX/XX/XXXX clearly shows that the status of Loan # XXXX remains suppressed/deleted from the Report. ( see attached " XXXXCredit_Report_XX/XX/XXXX.pdf '' ). Communications between both Ocwen and XXXX to have this resolved resulted in scapegoating explanations. XXXX recommended getting in touch with the Lender " Ocwen '' and Ocwen subsequently responds with the release of further misinformation and confusion in their " credit report letter '' deceptively suggesting contacting the XXXX Credit Bureau ( see attached '' Loan_Status_XXXX_From_Ocwen.pdf ''. With this hard evidence that is provided, I am submitting my complaint, which clearly confirms Ocwen 's illegal and deceptive manipulation of my loan account which is in good standing from XXXX that it now has Fiduciary duty to maintain. Thanks in advance for a final resolution to this issue that has negatively affected my credit inquiry results for the past 2+ years. Regards, XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX

Consumer Complaint: I applied for & received a loan from Bank XXXX which was then transferred to OCWEN for servicing. In XXXX 2015 I was notified by OCWEN that my loan was a balloon loan which was the first I heard of a balloon loan. I started working to refinance with XXXX when I was told by XXXX that I did not have a balloon loan therefor they could n't refinance. Many hours of phone calls with OCWEN followed with some people admitting that I do n't have a balloon loan while others say I do. Nowhere on my promissory note does it say anything about a balloon loan or balloon payment. I just finished a call with OCWEN when I asked the operator to forward a copy of any balloon loan disclosures I signed. He searched for over an hour and determined that there was no such disclosures signed. I 'm not sure where to go from here but my loan matured XX/XX/2015 and they are now threatening foreclosure. When I enter the terms of my loan based on the promissory note in a loan calculator it shows that it would be paid off XX/XX/2015. HELP!!!

Consumer Complaint: COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM MORTGAGE COMPANYI 've had a hardship over the past year and a half, and had my salary cut by over {$XXXX}. Our house was in foreclosure and the redemption period ended XXXX 2015. After submitting all documents requested for mortgage assistance with OCWEN and receiving a letter ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 ) listing all our options with OCWEN, we started the process immediately for a short sale. We had a young couple make an offer on the home in late XXXX early XXXX they were excited and had a significant down payment. Our realtor XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX had us fill out the OCWEN short sale paperwork and he submitted it to OCWEN per their request. He had spoken to OCWEN rep, XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX spoke to her in early XX/XX/XXXX-she stated that she would get back to him in 2-4 days. That was the last time XXXX heard from her. XXXX tried emailing her at least XXXX times and calling her and leaving her messages a XXXX times. I also called her XXXX in XXXX and left her long messages-pleading with her to give us an answer one way or the other and that I had children and a wife and needed to know if we could sell the house or stay or should look for a rental home. No response. It 's very frustrating and sad that she could not even call us to let us know anything. I 'm disgusted by the entire process. We 've shut off the gas, electricity and moved out by the redemption date. Still, no response and the house is sitting cold and dark. OCWEN had an opportunity to sell the home and did Nothing. I 've plead with the OCWEN rep, XXXX, to no avail. We were also frauded by a foreclosure company and lawyer in XXXX MI. The MI Attorney Generals Office is conducting a criminal investigation. The lead Investigator is XXXX XXXX XXXX-Supervisor with the Mich A. G. 's office. I am beyond frustrated. PLEASE HELP!

Consumer Complaint: We wrote Ocwen to advise that we are very dissatisfied with how our account is being handled. Since the time of our new agreement, which was handled by an attorney in XXXX, we have been paying our monthly mortgage payment of {$770.00} - {$780.00} regularly. After making our XXXX XXXX mortgage payment, we received notice that it had been returned. We contacted Ocwen inquiring as to the reason said payment had been returned. We were advised by a representative that they were unsure, possibly a mistake in the system. We also inquired as to whether any penalties, fees or interest would be imposed due to the mistake & were advised that nothing would be imposed. We were further advised that it would be researched & someone would get back to us. We had resubmitted the XXXX payment with a letter stating that we have not received any explanation & that we have been making the {$780.00} payments regularly. Further confirmed in the letter that we were advised that no penalties, interest or fees would be imposed. We made our XXXX payment as scheduled ; again that payment was returned along with the XXXX payment with no explanation other than " Demand/Demand Expired ''. We once again submitted XXXX, XXXX and XXXX payments with a letter requesting an explanation as to why they were being returned as well as confirming that no penalties, fees or interest would be imposed since payments were made on time, but refused. We also advised that should they continue to return payments with no explanation that we would be contacting our attorney. Once again ; payments were returned with no explanation. We made our XXXX payment & resubmitted XXXX, XXXX & XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX we received a certified letter enclosing a modification packet. We contacted Ocwen who advised the reason our payments were being rejected was due to the fact that the payment was not in an amount enough to satisfy the monthly payment. We were further advised that in XXXX XXXX our monthly mortgage payment had increased due to the " Escrow Analysis ''. We were advised that said analysis was sent to us. We never received said analysis. We were also advised by the rep that they supposedly sent out notices every 30 days advising that our account was delinquent ; that due to our bankruptcy they are prohibited from notifying us via telephone. We have never received any such notices. The rep further advised that beginning in XXXX XXXX our monthly payment once again increased due to the " Escrow Analysis '' that was supposedly sent to us in XXXX. We advised that we never received said analysis & had we received same that we would be making the necessary payments. For the time period of XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX all payments of {$780.00} were made and accepted w/ no notification that said payments were insufficient. The rep advised that the reason the payment had been increased was due to taxes and/or insurance increases. We contacted our insurance agent as well as the tax collector. We were advised that the increase from XXXX to XXXX was less than $ XXXX/year combined. We can not understand the reason why our escrow would now suddenly be in the negative after all this time. We also can not understand why they would accept payments for a year w/o notification that said payments were insufficient, yet beginning in XXXX XXXX they begin to return/ refuse said payments. When contacting them again rep advised that due to the " Escrow Anaylsis '' and the " cushion '' that our account had gone into the negative. Payments were not being accepted as they were not enough to cover the amount due & that since the account was over 90 days behind that partial payments would not be accepted. We have never received any Escrow Analysis. Now they want to demand over {$6000.00} to avoid foreclosure.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen is not a trusted company. I have heard about wrongful business against home owner in all United States. Unfortunately, I 'm another victims on their hands. Unless you 're rich, and have money to sue them, so they will learn the lesson in Connecticut State too. Below is list of my complaint:1 ) On my XXXX/XXXX/2015 Statement advised me of payment amount from {$620.00} to {$670.00} ( {$42.00} increase ) and said the further detail regarding the reason as going to be included in the separated letter ; 2 ) It is noted that on the same statement on XXXX/XXXX/2015 Ocwen received a {$5000.00} payment:3 ) On my XXXX/XXXX/2015 Statement advised the same ; 4 ) On my statements XXXX/XXXX/2015, and XXXX/XXXX/2015 they increased already to {$670.00} with no previous justification why. 5 ) On XXXX/XXXX/2015 I accepted the offer for re-cast and sent the paper offer ; 6 ) As for now, they refuse to re-cast, they lost the previous acceptance, they opened and investigation, and they refuse to give credit for that the same they received the {$5000.00} that 's on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX ) Ocwen is charging too much for escrow {$400.00}, a year is {$4800.00} ( {$400.00} x XXXX = {$4800.00} ) a price for a single family home, I have a town house, and the yearly taxes is not more than {$2500.00} ; 8 ) Ocwen plans to raise the escrow ; 9 ) On my XXXX/XXXX/2015, Ocwen raised already the escrow to {$440.00} a month that 's {$5300.00}, double of XXXX, CT required taxes ; 10 ) Also Ocwen is trying to receive a fee of {$490.00}, that has no sense and is not listed on their charge list.

Consumer Complaint: i have been working with ocwen loan servicing to avoid foreclosure on my home. after mediation, our hamp modification deal was for me to make XXXX modification trial payments of XXXX due XXXX/XXXX/15, XXXX/XXXX/15 and XXXX, due respectively. when that is satisfied we are to enter into an agreement that includes - according to an email from XXXX of ocwen -1 ) Interest rate of 2.0 % 2 ) Term of XXXX XXXX ) Modified unpaid principal balance of {$400000.00} ) Principle reduction of $ XXXXXXXXi have made those XXXX trial payments. however, the paperwork from ocwen outlining the new deal does not say they are offering principal reduction but does include a principal DEFERMENT with a balloon payment at the end of the life of the loan. it also includes a stipulation that i pay roughly {$1200.00} a month into an escrow account from which ocwen will pay municipal property taxes ( ok ) and homeowner 's insurance, although i have sent them a faxed copy and a hard copy of my homeowner 's insurance policy. i strongly believe ocwen 's attempt to manipulate the language of our agreement to change the meaning of our agreement is devious and fraudulent. their own representative offered a principal REDUCTION, not a deferment, and their legal representative was present at our modification meeting and signed the agreement that called for principal REDUCTION. thank you for your assistance in this matter.
