Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX. This is part of complaint # XXXX. My complaint is actually regarding Ocwen and XXXX XXXX, Ocwen for slandering my credit since XXXX and preventing me from aquiring an auto loan, high insurance rates and lowered Fico score. Ocwen has offered no information regarding the source of the {$99000.00} debt that was reported as LATE on XXXX report and UNKNOWN payment status on another. XXXX account number ( XXXX I have never seen nor has any relation to a loan or credit card ) and XXXX reports ... XXXX for a credit card and XXXX for a real estate loan. I asked for the proof and received nothing except that this was acquired by another debt collector in XXXX. I want to know who the original creditor was and an explanation for this balance. I have damages from this, I did not scroll far enough down on my reports last year to view this unfortunately. I have no idea where they came up with a XXXX balance. I assume it has something to do with a deficiency balance, however, all was discharged in bankruptcy in XXXX. Also, I was never at any time aware of any {$99000.00} debt nor contacted at all. My property was in Arizona, it was a non judicial foreclosure and deficiencies are not allowed with the type of property I had. Ocwen had no business in this continuation of harm. Enough is enough and if they are doing this to me I think many people need to be warned so they can check their reports. Please stop these barnacles. I will file another complaint regarding XXXX XXXX, I think it is more efficient to separate them although they are related. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: We have been trying to work with OCWEN mortgage company on reversing our mortgages back to an interest only payment on our rentals properties. We have followed all their requests filled out a huge package of forms and were declined. We have XXXX mortgages with this company and have made consistent payments for 10 yrs.. The mortgages reverted to a principal and interest recently, and we can not afford to make the principal and interest payment. It seems like a simple procedure, but yet no one is willing to help us keep our properties, which were purchased as an investment property for our kids education. This company has also been sharing our information with adjacent neighbors in the area. Is n't this in violation of some federal laws? We are happy to provide any information necessary to resolve our issues. This company has been nothing but uncooperative and rude.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX we were contacted by GMAC and asked if we were willing to refinance our home mortgage. The mortgage offered by GMAC was a no-appraisal required, no-income verification loan. After research and finding that this was n't a scam and being in a declining financial situation we decided to do the refinance. This process began in XXXX XXXX and was dragged out until XXXX XXXX. We did not realize and were not offered a principal modification mortgage by GMAC. After having a business failure in XXXX XXXX we found ourselves in a situation where we were seeking help with our mortgage and realized that by taking 24 months to refinance our mortgage, and the shut-off date of XXXX XXXX, XXXX for a principal modification mortgage under XXXX had been denied principal modification loan assistance because of the 24 month time frame it took to refinance our mortgage. The only difference between our current mortgage and our previous mortgage is the date and the loan number have been changed. It appears that by dragging out for 24 months our loan refinance that it now allows XXXX, GMAC and XXXX to deny a loan modification. Having the ability to look back at this transaction it appears that numerous violations of predatory lending have denied our right to seek assistance under the XXXX program. We have again been denied assistance by Ocwen, who is acting as a debt collector for GMAC, and have not been able to discuss this situation with GMAC management. We deeply appreciate anything you can do to assist us and at this point it will make a difference of us losing our home.

Consumer Complaint: I am having a problem with my mortgage company Ocwen. On XX/XX/2015. I found out that they never paid my flood or homeowners insurance. When I called them they said that they sent both checks out on XXXX/XXXX/2015. It seemed strange to me that both checks never went to the XXXX different providers of insurance. So after several attempts to resolve this issue Ocwen finally did a conference call with my insurance company and myself. Everything would be taken care of. Ocwen only paid my flood insurance never sent the check for homeowners. Ocwen sends me a letter stating I do n't have insurance and they woulsd provide it but I would be better off to get it myself. Called my insurance company and because it was n't paid on XX/XX/2015 I was consider delinquent and had to go into a surplus pool and only XXXX would issue a policy at {$3600.00}. My previous policy was {$2700.00}. A huge difference which Ocwen said they would look into reimbursing me the difference by filing a hardship for their mistake. They did n't issue anything, never even acknowledged it. Since a year had passed I was considered no longer a surplus pool candidate and applied for homeowners insurance and received a policy at {$1600.00}. I had my insurance company fax, mail and they talked to Ocwen and everything was good ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 ). Ocwen would pay the new premium. They never paid it again so I paid for the policy out of my own pocket. Did n't want to be placed in the same boat as before.
