Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, we paid off our mortgage loan balance pursuant to the instructions and total payoff amount provided to us by Ocwen, LLC. At the time we were informed that, within the next 3 to 6 months, we would receive paperwork showing that the loan had been satisfied and paid in full. It has now been OVER ONE YEAR and we have not received any documentation showing the mortgage has in fact been " paid in full, '' or have the deed/title indicating the change in ownership, i.e., its ours. To make matters worse, the loan continues to appear as an outstanding debt on both our individual and joint credit reports at an amount even higher than the payoff amount. Ocwen failed to fulfill its obligations to us, just as it had throughout the entire time it serviced our mortgage. ( If you so desire, we would be happy to provide you with detailed documentation regarding Ocwens failures dating back to at least XXXX after it acquired our loan from XXXX ). For now, we ask your help in directing Ocwen to do what should have been accomplished 6 to 9 months ago : provide documentation/paperwork showing that our mortgage has been paid in full, and remove the mortgage from our credit report ( s ) as an outstanding debt.

Consumer Complaint: My husband passed away on XX/XX/XXXX. I, in good faith, did notify the mortgage company the week after he passed. I have mailed in full payments on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. These payments represented XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX payments. In the interim, after speaking with the " Relationship Manager '' he recommended that I submit a loan modification for the mortgage. I clearly admit that I am unable to pay this amount with the loss of my husbands XXXX, upon his passing. I had two telephone appointments with this " Relationship Manager '', and our last conversation on XX/XX/XXXX he told me that things were looking " nice ''. On or around XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter and packet from them dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that my application for modification was denied for lower credit and my income to debt ratio. With this packet, they sent me the following two options : Deed in lieu of foreclosure with up to {$10000.00} to restart my life or proof of a listing for a short sale by XX/XX/XXXX. In the interim, the property suffered fire damage for which I finally got payment from the insurance company in XXXX. This payment was in the amount of {$40000.00} and is sitting with their department. I have provided them with documentation to begin the repairs but they are still waiting for more. : ( What I had proposed doing is letting me have the required funds to perform the repairs and apply any remaining balance toward the mortgage. I have hired a realtor and will be listing the property on or around the XXXX of XXXX. I am also advised, by the mortgage company, that I can appeal this process and that will give me 30 more days that they will not pursue foreclosure proceedings. I really need some help here. I have been upfront and forthcoming with this lender throughout the process and have not been avoiding them and just feel that I am being punished for my honesty with them.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen servicing wrote my mortgage off over ten years ago. They never notified us that they had it. We were sending our payments to XXXX XXXX when we receive a letter stating they were no longer be taking payments and we would be notified where send those payments to well that never happen now ten years later we request a release and Ocwen refuses, we didnt even know who they were until a few months ago we were in the process of selling our home. Every year when we paid our taxes on our house we would check to see if a mortgage company finally was reported it wasnt. When Ocwen responses the first time, they told title company it was written off, than the next time we contact them they said they were gone foreclose on our home. They had ten years to notify us and they didnt. We feel Ocwen mishandled our mortgage fraudulently and is trying to find loopholes for the bad business practices of our mortgage. All we want is a release because we feel it wasnt our wrong doing, it was Ocwen.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I opted into a biweekly payment plan with Ocwen, and made my payments under the belief that I was paying down my mortgage with a thirteenth payment. In XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment at the beginning of the month, and I was in a automatic debit program with Ocwen. After the first payment in XXXX I noticed none of my payments were being withdrawn from my account and contacted Ocwen on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to enquire why my payments were not being debited. Upon speaking to the representative he stated that the automatic debit system was down and stated that I could not make a payment until XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX I made a mortgage payment and waited for Ocwen to request the back mortgage owed, I was afraid if I made the two payments they would just go to principle and I would still owe the 2 back payments. Around Spring of XXXX I received a call from Ocwen where the female representative stated that I qualified for help from a Maryland Agreement, and I was afraid they were foreclosing from my missing two payments, but after discussing reducing my principle the representative stated " Oh this is a VA mortgage, you don't qualify '' then she hung up. In the Fall of XXXX I received a letter asking me to opt into a review of my accounts with Ocwen, and I agreed hoping whatever happened in XXXX thru XXXX of XXXX would be revealed and I could find out what happened, I was afraid at this point they had just extended my mortgage 2 months. I recently called them after a year had passed and I never heard what happened to my mortgage review and now I know what they did, they cut off the automatic debit on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and used my two years of biweekly payments to cover the two months the system was supposedly down so that I could accrue extra interest for those two years, and when I asked them why offer the biweekly payment plan if they weren't going to credit it to the account the representative said it was there so I could pay ahead on my mortgage ... .that is not how the product was sold to me. So to sum it up, they cut off debit, lied to me just to steal two years of principal off my account.

With job and life, I can not work fast, I have to do things slowly very slowly. I spend almost 2 weeks in a hospital one to next. Back in XXXX my wife left me to pay all the bills I did the best I can. But I came up short so I asked the bank to help. They did what they can. I was approved for a loan medication when I got the hospital. I explained I just got out the hospital I can not start paying on it now, they explained to me just re-apply it will come back approved no problem. I called several times and again and again they told me the same thing. Just apply again it will comeback approved. Are you sure? Yes, was the answer. When I try to apply now I cant get a approval from them. I've asked them several times. Now, its always no.. I don't know what to do. What happened to before. Who can I contact. They guarantee me something before. They assured me I would get approved. What can be done? I got put into a hospital under a life on death watch. It was not my fault. Just one more chance, just one more shot. I will pay on time. Please, I was not working when I got out the hospital could not pay a penny until I got well. Now, I willing to pay. I could not walk, or talk or write. I couldn't do anything for myself. Now, I can do a little for myself. Please help me, thanks for your time.
