Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Navy Federal Credit Union charged my checking account for XXXX for a credit card that is owed on. I understand the card is delinquent but I have been paying on the card since XX/XX/XXXX and the limit never got any lower. I was locked out of my checking account for a week, and then when my deposit went in, I went to work on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX cst and got off at XXXX cat. I called Navy Federal around XXXX cst and I was transferred 5 different times and no one could give me an answer, they actually told me I talked to someone earlier that day, which I did not. They left me with XXXX dollars, I told them they could keep XXXX dollars of the XXXX that was taken but I needed the rest back as if I have a family of three and am doing my best but how can I make it on XXXX bucks for three weeks. I know that Navy Federal was sued for the same thing they are doing to me back in XX/XX/XXXX. Now I am not sure what else to do here but this. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX XXXX with a paycheck that was disbursed by the XXXX ( XXXX ) for deposit today, XX/XX/2019. The deposit is not reflected in my account. Attempts to contact NFCU are futile. Their phone lines are completely down. I cant get any information about why my paycheck that was disbursed is not available to me in my account. This is my paycheck not NFCUs to do with as they pleased. I have no over due payments and am not overdrawn. They simply have not posted my pay to me and will not tell me why.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/19. I should have had a direct deposit from XXXX, my paycheck as a civilian XXXX employee. Last night, the transaction was showing as pending ( which is normal for a Thursday night ), and this morning, it is showing as neither pending nor deposited. Not only am I unable to access funds, but the customer service phone line is not working. I learned through social media that Navy Federal knows there are problems with deposits, blame it on tax returns incoming, and have not given even a ballpark timeframe of when it will be fixed. I understand that things sometimes happen, but this is the second time recently, and the company is unwilling to speak to customers about it. I assume other banks are also being hit by tax returns, but only me and other coworkers banking with Navy Federal have had problems.

Consumer Complaint: Navy Federal Credit Union apparently is having issues posting ANY deposits. I have direct deposit, my paycheck has not been posted to my account. It was due to post at XXXX. Instead of the company talking to customers, they disabled the phones and the online banking. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: Direct deposit of both my private employer payroll and my federal deposit were lost entirely this morning ( XX/XX/XXXX ) despite showing as scheduled transactions yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ). While I am aware of an alleged technical malfunction causing widespread deposit delays, this was only mentioned in XXXX commentary made by Navy Federal Credit Union. No formal statement was issued on any platform. The customer service number they tell you to call is not working. Any form of contact to verify the issues and find out a timeline for resolution are met with a blanket statement telling members to call the malfunctioning customer service number. Further inquiries are then ignored entirely. This is grossly unacceptable - especially when dealing with hundreds of thousands of federal employees financial livelihoods. Further, this is not the first such service and funds accessibility delay in the last 3 months. These issues need to be effectively and permanently resolved and NFCU needs to be transparent with their members about access to our money.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX2019-My paycheck did not show up in my account this morning. I am missing roughly 1,000 dollars. Tried contacting the bank, no help. Tried to call, phone lines were busy. The bank would not communicate with us about our paychecks. Also, it took about 20 minutes to get connected to the mobile app.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Navy Federal Credit Union failed to deposit every members pay and it was late by about 2 days. They said they would work hard to fix the issue and that it would not happen again. Now here on XX/XX/XXXX they are still not posting THOUSANDS of peoples pay on time including many active duty members. I think its an attempt to get time for whatever financial obligations they have. Some of us live on tight budgets. My rent was late and will be late again thanks to Navy Federal Credit Union. I will be leaving but please get mine and others money. Many people do not have their pay checks still.
