Consumer Complaint: As of today Friday XX/XX/2019 I still have not recieved my diect deposit with Navy Federal, there was no notice sent out to members only a message on social media. Last week, I also tried to reach out to Navy federal in reference to an issue on my account and there banking systems were down for several hours causing me to miss an important flight. Last but not least, I filed a dispsute for a merchant that charged me on the wrong day and I was given provisional credit along which was fine 2 months later the dispute was reversed and when I had no money navy federal took the money out. I have provided documents that state that the merchant did that in error and I still have not recieved my money back.

Come to find out on NFCU XXXX page I was not the only one and this is not the first time this is happening. We need better service and we need better communication from Our bank.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX like most customers of Navy Federal Credit Union, the deposit of my paycheck with direct deposit was not available for some unknown reason. While Navy Fed worked to fix the issue, they stated on their official XXXX account that the money was posted but was not showing up, quite frankly we were told that we have invisible money. All the while automatic Bill pay, which they push for people to sign up for, was being declined or over drafted. It has been 8hrs since I should have received my direct deposit and I, like everyone else, work hard for the money we have earned. In doing so I should not be nervous about a glitch or something that is going to prevent me from paying my bills on time and then have to suffer overdraft fees due to a problem not of my own doing.

Consumer Complaint: I am Power of Attorney for a Navy Federal Credit Union member who has been denied access to a savings and checking account. Navy Federal has rejected their own POA form completed per their request stating it does not comply with the state of Maryland statues. A second form was completed as directed by Navy Federal POA department which has also been rejected. The POA suggest that the agent goes to court and file for guardianship which is unnecessary. The principle has decided on the POA agent, signed the POA form and had it notarized and witnessed. The principle has been locked out of the account and can make no transactions. Navy Federal offered a settlement to pay off a previous debt on another account, but once the debt was satisfied the account was not placed back in good standing with a positive balance, but reflects a negative balance greater than XXXX.

Can not get a answer from NFCU as to why my direct deposit was not processed and made available to me as today XX/XX/19 is my company pay day. Verified with employer that direct deposit was sent to bank and I have copy of check stub. I have bills setup on auto payment due to come out today and this will cause me to incur overdraft fees.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/19, Navy Federal Credit Union did not post direct deposit checks from neither irs tax refunds or payroll checks. there was never an email a text message or any kind of informational sent out directly to customers. Only those with a XXXX account knew about it because they were responding to peoples questions about it. They have turned their phone lines off and even on XXXX the only answers given were we are working to fix it, no explanation or anything. There are people that have automatic bill payments set up because we are encouraged to do so by these institutions and then when we do so the money isnt there. Things like this causes overdraft fees, late payment fees, insufficient funds fees and could also begin to affect credit because some of the payments are for important things like mortgages and car loans.

I call the customer service line to the line just to ringing with no answer or to be disconnected. I have bills due on every pay that i can not pay and incur late fees due to my funds not Being available like they are supposed to be. Its starting become a major headache wit navy Federal. They arent giving their members a head up or nothing out the outage. And keep replying with a scripted reply. These incidents are happening quite to often and Im sick of it now
