Consumer Complaint: When I opened this card account with Navy Federal Credit Union in XXXX, XXXX, I was offered a low interest rate for a year on balance transfers made with the opening of the account. All was well and good, until the promotional period ended. I thought it odd that the interest charges didn't fluctuate as the balance should have continued to go down. I recently inquired as to why the balance on this balance transfer has never gone down one penny since the end of the promo period ended. I was informed by the Credit Union that, now that the interest rate on both the balance transfer and purchases are the same, the balance transfer balance will not be paid off until ALL purchases, past and present, are paid in full, even though I am making more than the minimum payments. So now, I pay the same amount of interest on this balance transfer every month, no matter what. They only apply enough of a " payment '' to keep it static and not to pay down the balance. It has remained at the same amount since XXXX of XXXX, and they collect the interest fees on it, despite the fact that I am not allowed to pay down the balance. None of this was explained to me when I opened the account. It was only after I inquired as to why it was not going down did an agent explain that it would not until ALL purchases were paid off. I feel like this was a bait and switch by this credit Union. I have never been late on a payment either.

Consumer Complaint: This particular account situation that is lately filing on my own credit document has a seriously unfavorable relation to my personal ability to obtain a present loan application. I highly recommend you generate verification that Credit Union has been reported completely in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations, it's really a serious problem to misreport. More confirmation of the aforesaid item too. My proper request must over, I was never 30 days/60 days/120 days late in any of my payments and I'm not greatly tuned in to the date opened so I prefer to ask you be investigated as soon as possible and confirmed to be correct. Thanks!

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXXlast 4 ss # XXXX After filling complaint with XXXX XXXX reporting agencies XXXX XXXX and Navy Federal continually report fraudulent opened accounts affecting me from opening accounts on my own without them verifying my identity and hard copies of any application with any signatures matching signatures on my Dl 's Navy Federal contended that the account was opened online but the address that's on file is a commercial property with businesses I never lived in a commercial property or owned one either. XXXX XXXX act as if I'm the one wrong by calling me and drilling me like I did something wrong. But the truth is someone stole my identity hacked my phone number, email address and applied for car loans while I was working over the road and I would help in any way I can to find out who's doing this because it's a ongoing problem everyday I get a email saying my social security number is being used while I'm thousands of miles away from Florida. So if their not willing to fix this I will challenge them on Court got fraud, defermation of character and opening up fraudulent accounts in my name.

Consumer Complaint: Date of all activities : XX/XX/XXXX I received emails from Navy Federal Credit Union that ( A New member-to-Member Account Has been added ) stating that I was the requestor and Payee 's name is XXXX XXXX. I don't know this person and for my understanding it was done online. I don't know how this person had access to my information. Next, on the same day someone applied for a loan in the amount of {$2000.00} using Navy Federal online banking. The loan was approve and had the fund deposit into my XXXX XXXX account. {$1000.00} was withdrawn from the XXXX XXXX and sent to XXXX XXXX $ XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) and then the other {$1000.00} was sent out within five minutes to the same person. Again, I don't know how this happen and how anyone have access to my bank and XXXX XXXX information. I have my Navy Federal link to my XXXX XXXX. On the XXXX of XXXX I received another email from Navy Federal stating that they need more documents for ( Personal Expense no Collateral ) that was applied for online ; but since that person couldn't provide the documents the loan was denied. Also, that person enter XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX for the loan. All my Navy Federal statements is just XXXX XXXX XXXX. My mom and I went to the XXXX, Georgia branch in person ( XX/XX/XXXX & XXXX ) to resolve this problem and fill out fraud paper and was told that the online banking system was down and that they couldn't remove that XXXX XXXX from my account. I travel to the local Sheriff Department ( XXXX, Ga - XXXX County ) and retrieved a police report for this matter. ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I contacted XXXX XXXX support their final investigation determined that my Navy Federal information was link to XXXX XXXX account but they confirm that the payment was not sent from XXXX XXXX balance, it was made from payment source linked to my XXXX XXXX. Therefore, they're asking me to contact Navy Federal to inquire about the unauthorized activities. My mom contacted XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX and placed alert on my social security. Navy Federal has added this to my credit report while this was under investigation. I fax a letter pleading that I didn't do this and had supporting documents that this person added their name to my account. ( XX/XX/XXXX ) Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I received a letter in the mail from Navy Federal dated ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that they made a final determination regarding my claim in the amount of {$4000.00} on XXXX XXXX checking account ending in XXXX that no error occurred based on account activity. I'm responsible for the full amount of the claim. Navy Federal stating that I gave a third party my information no I didn't and this unfair and they assume that I'm just XXXX years of age that I did this. This is unlawful and wrong. I have to pay for someone else fraud activity. I know what system was hack but didn't authorize nothing. My mom search through XXXX to see if XXXX XXXX existed and there is one in XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX GA her DOB : XX/XX/XXXX. This information was on this person page. I need help and some answer ( s ). My ( XXXX XXXX ) ask the lady at the XXXX branch why would they approve for loan online without showing identification and to XXXX year old with no regular job that just started XXXX XXXX. Again, please help me and I didn't authority this transaction ( s ).

Consumer Complaint: I am having an issue with Navy Federal credit Union taking Funds out of my checking account without my permission or notifying me before the funds were removed. I received a refund From XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$2900.00} to pay for my other classes, books and supplies need at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX am a dual-enroll student. The money that was taken was my financial aid to pay for upcoming classes at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX starting on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX but the financial aid and student loans that was meant to pay for those classes and books was taken by Navy federal credit union XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Navy Federal took out {$2200.00} as soon as it hit the account. so I contacted Navy federal about this transaction and told them that the funds was from Financial aid I was then offered {$500.00} returned. then I filled a complaint with the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX but Navy federal is still refusing to return the funds removed even after being informed that the funds were from a financial aid and student loans package.They have only offered to give me XXXX XXXX.of the funds back. I have contacted XXXX about my account and they have put my amount on hold until XX/XX/XXXX. I would like to get this resolved as quickly as possible so I can focus on my studies.

Consumer Complaint: I had a car with Navy Federal in 2013. I was incorrectly instructed by the dealership XXXX of XXXX XXXX to let Navy federal repossess my vehicle because it no longer worked and the dealership would not accept the negative equity on a new car loan. For two years navy federal refused to repossess the vehicle. I informed them that i was a student and could not afford the payments. They told me it was my responsibility to do so and that they would not take the car because it was worth less than the loan. The loan has remained on my credit since then. The status on my credit reports say charged off. However they report monthly that my payment is late. This is fraudulent. I have tried to call them and they forward me to collection department. But they will not update there reporting. If the account is not in collections. Why are you trying to collect.
