In XXXX I was told my account with Navy Federal was compromised and couldnt access my funds. {$17000.00} was left from the loan in my savings account. I was told by the security department that the funds would be sent back to the lender XXXX because the funds where deposited into my personal account and it shouldve been a business account. I havent been able to reach the lender but I applied through XXXX and theyve reached out to the bank several times requesting the funds and theres still been no resolve.

Consumer Complaint: I was scammed by a guy on XXXX offering financial assistance. He said all I needed was to have an active bank account and the money would be deposited. This was to be considered a donation from his organization. I would only be required to give him half of the money deposited. I figured that should be OK since I would receive the money first and then give him half instead of the common red flag of sending out money first. Totally unaware that he had in fact applied for a loan from my bank, in my name, until after I sent him the money. I NEVER requested this loan or signed off on it but it was given easily and freely without my knowledge, and what I thought was money being given to me was a scam for me to give money to the scammer that I don't have. What happened to the security aspect of identifying the person when transactions like this are done online, or even requiring 24 hours for deposit to be made. I was totally blindsided. I was not the person who took out this loan, I am the victim of identity theft and my bank/credit union has been defrauded as well as many others. I can not afford this loan and I refuse to accept responsibility for it since I didn't authorize this transaction or sign for it. The loan is for {$6000.00}. Upon making the police report I was made aware that this same guy has done this before and he's facing several felony charges. Even on it's face, the loan is of predatory lending, I would not have agreed to those terms given the percentage rate. I've been preparing my credit for a decent mortgage loan, not this, and my credit is in good standing. I don't need this stress. Please help!

The amount is {$570.00}. The financial institution requested email and phone correspondents, ticket confirmation, and the refund policy from merchant. All of which were provided. Merchant event stated event was still scheduled however the event happened 3 months prior. I have been actively disputing and trying to contact merchants and updating information with financial institution to no avail.

Consumer Complaint: Navy Federal Credit Union continues to block my capability to make an electronic mortgage payment online since XX/XX/2021. Meanwhile, Navy Federal Credit Union continues to assess Mortgage Payment Late Fees against me. NFCU was previously the subject of a class-action lawsuit for denying access to members ' accounts when mortgage payments were past-due. In NFCUs previous practice, they blocked all transaction except payment TO a mortgage account. NFCU 's present practice is worse : NFCU is ONLY preventing transaction to a mortgage account. This is an unfair practice : Preventing members from making payments while NFCU continues to assess late fees. Eventually... Foreclosure?! LET ME MAKE ELECTRONIC PAYMENT TO MY MORTGAGE ONLINE. Additionally, Navy Federal 's " secure '' messaging application only works one way : from NFCU to members. This functionality has been broken for more than a year.

I asked for a where it stated that NF doesn't support consulting businesses and she said it wasn't stated anywhere. I asked for this statement in writing as described by law and she denied that. She then went ahead to state that I had indicated that I " offered credit repair services '' which I never said ( A recording on the call should be produced for evidence ) My website said " We 'ensure ' credit repair, optimization and strategy to set up your business up for massive funding possibilities ''. Ensure means, we make sure and provide a review of your financial package ; not provide a credit repair service. The website clearly states " Consulting Services ''. This is a classic case of a " supervisor '' who made a mistake and instead of rectifying the issue when she incorrectly stated I provide credit repair services despite my website starting otherwise, stuck to her guns.
