Consumer Complaint: All three major credit bureaus continue to report a bankruptcy on my credit report. The information is inaccurate and I can not get it deleted. I have attempted to dispute with the three major bureaus, they pass me to the data furnisher ( LexisNexis ) , LN then passes me back to the court, the court refers me to the credit bureaus. It is a horrible circle and very frustrating. I just want the bankruptcy and accompanying erroneous information about me deleted. The XXXX was never filed, yet they continue to report that it was on my wife and my credit reports. Please help us.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Team, In XX/XX/XXXX, I informed Lexis Nexis ( company that maintain XXXX insurance report for consumers ) about a potential mistake in my report. This report was showing 3 'at fault ' accidents on my name where I never driven before. After multiple email exchanges and phone calls with long wait times, i found that my whole report is mixed up with another person who has the same name and DOB as mine. That person was involved in accidents and hence, this was appearing on my report. I sent multiple requests to Lexis Nexis to fix my report and they assured that it will be fixed. Now it is XX/XX/XXXX and my report is still the same. I recently ordered a fresh copy of my report and it is still showing the other person 's info. Clearly, LexiNexis never investigated the issue other wise they would have easily figured out two separate SSNs on one person 's report. This is highly unacceptable as Im facing issues because of this errored report maintained by LexisNexis. Im requesting you to please look into the matter and take action against LexisNexis as they are falsefully maintaining consumer reports and making money while the consumer is suffering. Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis has violated my consumer rights. I contacted Lexis Nexis on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX informing them of the violations of my consumer rights. Lexis Nexis infringed on my right as a consumer to privacy pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ). Lexis Nexis did not have a permissible purpose nor did they have my written instruction as a consumer to furnish any information about me to any consumer reporting agency. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from the United States Bankruptcy Court for the XXXX XXXX of New York stating they do not provide information to credit report agencies. Lexis Nexis is in violation of 15 USC 1681a ( e ).

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is a counter-complaint to LexisNexis CFPB complaint XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX InLexisNexis ' response they claim to not be a consumer reporting agency. And admittedly reports this information to the credit bureaus. I never gave LexisNexis permission to report anything to anyone and by law, they can not go and scrape my information from a public record and report it to a consumer reporting agency. On my credit report, it has the bankruptcy court as the furnisher NOT LEXISNEXIS so that is the violation by the credit bureaus and grounds for removal. LexisNexis is not a creditor on my credit report so they can not be used to report my information As for LexisNexis. I want them to delete any and all information that they have contained about me. Yes, they can view it in public records but they have no right to store my information anywhere without my consent. That is a violation of my privacy 1 5 U.S. Code 1 681 ( a ) ( 4 ). This serves as my warning of intent to use LexisNexis and the CRAs for fraudulently compiling information and reporting it.
