Consumer Complaint: I order a copy of all XXXX credit reports and I notice that bankruptcy was on all XXXX reports XXXX, XXXX and XXXX I disputed this bankruptcy and i ask all XXXX credit bureaus for verifiable information and they said they verified from the bankruptcy court, so I reach out to the bankruptcy court and they sent me a letter stating they don't verify any information with the credit bureau 's and they do not report bankruptcy on a person 's credit report. I will include court paper. They also stated they got information from lexus nexis which I sent them a dispute in the mail and they refuse it and refuse to work on my dispute.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute inaccurate information that appears on my credit report regarding a bankruptcy filing. After reviewing my credit report, I have discovered that there is a bankruptcy record listed that is incorrect. I am requesting that you investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to rectify the inaccuracies in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). The Bankruptcy court stated in the attached response letter that they don't report Bankruptcy informaton to consumer ' reports or consumer reporting agencies. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681c ( a ) Bankruptcy information is excluded from the consumer 's report. ( LexisNexis, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) is in violation of said section for furnishing this information on my consumer report, that was obtained illegally from Lexis Nexis under false pretenses in which they've obtained it from an online electronic system known as Pacer.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a formal complaint to Lexis Nexis asking them to verify the bankruptcy on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX case # XXXX filed XX/XX/XXXX that is on my profile with them they sent me a letter stating they verified the bankruptcy with a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I understand according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681g Section 609 they are to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit profile also I understand Lexis Nexis directly owned by XXXX which makes them " affiliated ''. As such, anytime an affiliate shares/furnishes information, with the FCRA right to privacy as a consumer, they are supposed to notify you before they furnish any information granting you the option to opt out and they didn't. Lexis Nexis is getting that information from a 3rd party XXXX and furnishing that information to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX without permissible purpose 604 15 U.S.C. 1681b.
