Consumer Complaint: I joined their XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX that operates and manages your amazon store for you, in return you give them {$30000.00} up front to manage your store and then 30 % of your profits quarterly. They said they would not make one XXXX from you in the first year till you made a profit, and that was in the contract that I signed. I first spoke with one of their recruiters who promised me that I will be having an AMAZON store up and running within six months of joining and, would be seeing a return on my investment of an average of 200 % or, {$450000.00} after the second year. They said they were running XXXX amazon store as well as XXXX XXXX amazon XXXX. They said they have a combined experience of fifty years plus and, had personal warehouses in XXXX that they deal with directly to order and would send my products to the United States for me. They said they would build my store to run on its own and all would need to do is give them an additional {$30000.00} for my products once they were ordered through their suppliers in XXXX. After joining I would have a monthly XXXX call with them for the first few months and would be getting updates weekly or as things progressed. I did hear from them periodically, then all emails, XXXX calls, and communication ceased. I was then emailed by a XXXX XXXX that I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX filed by XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I also found out that there were XXXX plus other victims of this XXXX Scheme conducted by XXXX XXXX XXXX I also found out that they are still conducting business as usual event though they filed bankruptcy. There are numerous XXXX videos of XXXX XXXX and his team professing everything I just said as well as websites still up and running. I would like for all involved in the XXXX XXXX XXXX investors XXXX SCHEME held liable for taking not only my money but everyone else who was a victim of their lies and deceit. Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I received a text regarding fraud on my Chase Bank account. I did not authorize it & received a message stating my account was restricted and a call would be granted. Received a call from XXXX & it was a guy stated he worked for chase fraud dept and asked all the verifying information. He stated that some one was trying to wire {$8000.00} to them in XXXX & I confirm it was not be. He then stated that someone attempted a XXXX transaction & asked me to open that part of my account & told me that I need to send {$500.00} to chase bank with a code in the memo. I said no I can't & he stated you will get the money back & that it will just cancel out. After I felt it was odd I hung up & {$500.00} was missing. At XXXX I called the chase fraud line on the back of my card verifying that this information was true or not & they said no that never happened & looked into my account & said person also had a {$250.00} weekly withdraw to their account named " chase bank '' I did not know what this withdraw either & found out when the fraud line told me. She deactivated my account & we changed all the security things & sent me to claims. I filled a claim that day & received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX that they would not grant me the money back because it shows I sent the money when I did not & the person who acted like Chase. I never authorized anything on my account. This person called acting like chase did all the verification that Chase does. When I called to fight the claim they told me that they can't because everything shows that it was my account that was logged in and I tried to tell them everything that happened. They said Chase would never call, they only email or text. I have been with Chase for 10 years & never knew that. I have received calls before from them. So now I lost {$500.00} to a scammer because he played all his cards right.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/22, I was contacted around XXXX via text with a message mirroring a typical Chase fraud alert, asking if I was trying to make a XXXX purchase. I replied " No '' to that message as shown in the screenshot attached. Immediately upon my reply, I received a phone call from the Chase customer service line that I've memorized since college 14 years ago ( see attached phone record ). I trusted the agent on the line because of the number from which they called. They pretended to be investigating my fraud case and asked me for personnel details. They used these details to access my Chase account. After the agent hung up the phone abruptly. I check my account. The " agent '' had transferred {$1000.00} from account XXXX to account XXXX. Then proceeded to fraudulently send a XXXX payment to themselves in the amount of {$500.00}. I then contacted Chase 's actual fraud department and reported this. After being transferred 3 times, I was told that they would send a reversal request to the other bank to see if it would be approved. I was then advised to call back in 10 days. I suspect that no action was taken by Chase and this was an attempt to disregard the matter. I sent chase a letter requesting my funds be returned to my account as consumers should receive protections from fraudulent activity. In response to my letter. I received the attached chase letter stating that no action will be taken to resolve my inquiry. My desired resolution is that chase will immediately credit the {$500.00} to my account.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was scammed by someone identifying as XXXX XXXX XXXX I found their number on XXXX and called them. They explained my account was disabled ( my reason for the call ) due to fraudulent transactions and mentioned a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and others that " red flagged '' the system. At this point I was hooked, because I did the same amount just the other day Then he sent 2 confirmation text messages with my case number and a verification ID. He advised to go through several apps to verify me in order to confirm my identity and unlock it. We went through XXXX XXXX, in which I couldn't fund any amounts he suggested, he asked to look in history if I see any unusual activity, we did same with XXXX and he asked me to create a virtual account and see if it sends money as a security virtual code ( that was also in one of the text messages ). He was Team viewing me from my other phone and basically directing me every step of the way, I was almost under influence and couldn't think clearly. I sent the money to an account a phone number with XXXX, XXXX $ and they said it would show up again in the account as it was only for verification, the money shouldn't go through. At this point, I had to pick up several phone calls and then immediately, at XXXX called the bank JP Morgan Chase to verify this transaction and stop it ( it was showing " under review '' in XXXX ). I talked to them explained all the error of the situation and they said it nothing they can do and that it was completed. NOTHING! I checked XXXX and saw that it showed completed indeed, just " pending '' in my statement balance probably. Did not have any words after that, realizing I couldn't trust my bank also.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: I have contacted Chase multiple times via phone and email trying to get explanations/detailed calculations on my interest charges. I was charged interest during periods when I had 0 % balance transfer offers and should not have been charged interest, and also could not reconcile the " balance subject to interest. '' ( It should've been XXXX ) I contacted Chase via phone on XX/XX/XXXX and also via email on XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. I very clearly outlined my request and even attached screenshots. However, Chase blatantly ignored my requests and sent me generic responses stating they charge interest. This was a message I sent on XX/XX/XXXX : I am trying to find out why I'm being charged interest on these statements : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. I can not figure out where you are getting the " purchases '' amount for any of those statements as they don't match up with anything. Most of my balances were/are 0 % payment plans or 0 % balance transfers. On the XXXX statement I had a charge where I didn't pay the full amount and would expect a slight interest charge on the XXXX statement, but I still can not make numbers match up. Can someone please let me know if your system has an error? And if there is no error, please show me how the purchase balance and interest was calculated on the XX/XX/XXXX statement, ( It says balance subject to interest was XXXX ) and also the XX/XX/XXXX statement. Here is their response : XXXX, The balance subject to interest is the average balance carried throughout billing cycle per balance segment : calculated by adding every day 's ending balance and dividing that amount by number of days within billing cycle. That amount is then used to calculate applicable interest charges using its respective APR. The details about how to calculate the interest charge and balance subject to interest rate are outlined on the back of your statement and in the Interest Charges section of your Cardmember Agreement.

Even though I reported it within minutes after having a gut wrenching feeling, Chase Bank did nothing, said to call the scammers and ask for it back, and then told me to call back the next day. XX/XX/2022 : I called Chase back and reported it once more, I filed a claim and cited regulation E, they refused to reimburse me and said that I am only covered if I give out my personal information like email or Chase bank online access. Even though I researched that I should be covered for this and quoted regulation E, the claims specialist would not do anything.
