Consumer Complaint: i am XXXX XXXX and i was member with DISCOVER card company from XXXX to XXXX and i do remember calling discover people in XX/XX/XXXX and telling them to turn off my account after i made all rest of my payments. and after few months they starting sending me bills again when XXXX XXXX people were charging my {$100.00}, {$200.00} all the time like they probably charged me 10 times same amount when i closed my account with discover people and while i was never ever using my XXXX so they were charging me without reason. then i called discover people and explained to them that it was not me but they never made any move they always use to say we'll look into this and then they will put interest on that and send new bill with more money then i got another bill which shows someone was using my card with thier XXXX XXXX because i called discover people again and told them this is not me either then they said someone using your card with XXXX XXXX nd with your mobile phone number on and i was so shocked at that time nd i requested then to close my account again but like always they never did and always put interest on my card and send more bill so this is been happening so i didn't make any payments because i wasn't using thier card so why would i make payments but then my credit score starting going really bad nd now i have to take some steps. i really need justice and your help please look into this. please and apple pay transaction is not me either it's hacked or something because this is just so insane.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a payment thru the mail and When they processed it They Withdraw {$380.00} and That emptied out my checking account!! I contacted the customer service number and I was told Their expedited my refund in one to two business days!! I spoke to supervisor everyday!!! When that happened to me I started calling back every day and getting the same answer it's been taken care of!! Finally it was processed on the Third Day with the Stipulation that now I have to wait another one to two business days!! So on the Fifth day I contacted Executive office and spoke with associate and they said they would investigation because I owed family for over draft protect of {$300.00}!! I owe co-workers money for gas to go to work!! I needed {$100.00} for life savings medicine!! Ten days later I get refunded for the wrong transaction of my payment!! The associate contact me stating she would handle the extra money I had to acquire because my checking account has been emptied out!! No one has made any progress to pay back my extra expenses because of the company mistake!! I have written to the CEO of the company and theirs been no response yet?? I need someone help with this unwanted financial Burdens!!

Consumer Complaint: Discover claims they notified me that they were closing my card because I didn't use it enough. They didn't. They also didn't send me any kind of electronic communication stating that they would be closing my account. By doing so, they caused a SEVERE drop in my credit score. I have had this card for YEARS and I have never had this issue. It is a backup emergency card that I use WHEN NEEDED. Apparently, Discover isn't interested in my business since I'm not in credit card debt and I know how to pay my balances in full. They're not making any money off me so they don't want me to have an account with them. PRETTY CONVENIENT! Oh wait, no ... not convenient at all. What good is a card if it can't be used in an emergency? STICK WITH YOUR LOCAL CREDIT UNION AND DON'T BOTHER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote to all 3 Credit Bureau 's stating : I am writing to challenge the reporting and compliance on two accounts with SLC STUDENT LOAN TRU that is being reported on my credit report with incorrect/missing info. More specifically, I am referencing the fact that you are reporting an incorrect balance. It is listed as a closed, charge off account on XXXX and XXXX as of XX/XX/XXXX. The account number is also inaccurate and incomplete, an incorrect account balance listed, payment status is incorrect, incorrect account status, and incorrect date updated. I challenge the accuracy, compliance and reportability of this listing. They failed to provide me with validation of this account within 30 days per the Fair Credit Reporting Act section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). They are violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The only Bureau 's who deleted the accounts was XXXX, but the accounts remain on my XXXX and XXXX reports.

Consumer Complaint: Discover Credit Card On XX/XX/2019, I had called to verify that there had not been any issues with my Discover Credit Card as there has been a slew of credit cards being stolen from our mail box. Called a Discover Card rep and was told there was no issues and they would send me a new card just in case. XX/XX/2019 called to activate new card and was told the account was closed by " me '' on XX/XX/XXXX when I was just told the previous day I had no issues. How can a company allow for someone to provide no information to verify them being the owner of the account and request the account be closed? There is no accountability with them as they said they can not do anything to reinstate my account.

I have called Discover sent them a copy of the police report along with a copy of my FTC report saying that it was a fraudulent account.
